I lived in San Diego for 7 years and I’ve never found anybody as great as Suriya! He is a master of his trade. He is very professional and skillful. I let him work on my hair and color and I love it each time! Even my clients from work keep on asking where I had my hair done! The place is very clean and serene too, you will feel very relaxed and pampered. I took mom here as well and she just loved it!

Go see Helena Aguirre! She is so professional and friendly and does a great job. She donated a gift card to my work and still gave me top-​notch customer service. She truly cares about giving you what you want to see in your hairstyle but is also honest about what would be healthiest for your hair, which I appreciated. She was flexible and easy to schedule with, and I like that she has a private room within the salon. To top it off, she offers wine and uses the BEST mint conditioner that will make you feel so refreshed.

I’ve never had my hair done professionally before, only because I don’t trust others with my hair. My dad gets his haircuts here and he told me to give it a try, so I did. I have never been so confident about my hair! It’s fabulous! I recommend this place to those looking for a personalized cut.

Suriya has got it all. Brains. Class. Skill. Professionalism. A true master of the craft. Just be sure to tell him exactly what you want and for him to take his time (unless you are in a rush). One of the reasons I get my hair cut by Suriya is because he focuses on your hair without distractions or endless chatter. He also knows how to give an exceptional scissor cut that grows and looks excellent even after 1 month. Let me just say, it took a lot for me to even walk in the door. I have been cutting my own hair for over 8 years due to a very tramatic experience I had with a hair cut! Living a block away from Suriya Hair Design, I was constantly tempted with checking out the place and making an appointment. So I finally decided to do it when I happened to park directly in front of his place. My appointment was scheduled for Friday the 13^th … oh great.
BUT I showed up, and he was so welcoming. We discussed what style I wanted, and I insisted on keeping my length! He constantly checked with me to make sure I was still breathing and to make sure I was good with how much he was cutting.
I am completely happy with my hair, and I honestly will be going back to him for my haircut every eight weeks!

I would highly recommend Suriya not only because of the great haircut but the amazing customer service. He is a great individual who cares for his customers and goes beyond any expectation anyone has. By far, the best and most caring stylist in San Diego. Highly recommend him to anyone.

I would highly recommend Suriya to anyone. He is such an amazing stylist that takes his time and makes sure you get the cut you want. I have been going to him for almost a year and I couldn’t be happier. I have extremely curly hair and after getting my hair cut twice with Suriya. I trusted him enough to cut about 10 inches off! Now I have this fun short bob!
He has also cut my husbands hair and did an excellent job as well.
