My favorite coffee! I come here before work and am always happy with my order! The people are nice and coffee tastes great. My favorite is the soy latte or the flat white.

The staff here is awesome. I’ve never been to such a busy store during work hours. I’ve been ordering my drinks online with the app and even though the store is packed when I get there my stuff is ready. Especially busy in the morning of course. If you come during lunch hours the plaza is really crowded, parking is difficult also because the spots are tiny and hard to get into so a lot of people take up two spots.

I love this Starbucks! The morning crew is second to none. Even when the line is out the door they get you out of there quickly. They are friendly, fast and efficient. On the rare occasions they make a mistake, they fix it immediately and always with a smile. Makes a great start to my day.

They know you and are very friendy; the more experienced baristas have no competition, I dare to say. And… they get your coffee right. Simply another gem alongside one of the best food court in San Diego.

3 ½ Came here before going to Christmas Card Lane to grab a cup of hot chocolate so I can stay warm while looking at lights. Ordered 2 hot chocolates. One with whip and one without. Got my order and asked which one had whipped. The guy apologized and said he forgot said I jokingly said that he had to upgrade me. He started grabbing another cup and making me another one. I quickly said I was kidding, but he insisted anyways. As much as I appreciated his gestured, I left with 2 tall and 1 grande hot chocolates… and no whip cream. Service was good and fast. Hot chocolate tasted good but I wish it was a tad warmer and had my whip cream! I’d give it another chance though. The people there are really nice.

Quick lil’ starbucks near work. Not the most friendly starbucks i have experienced but not the worst. Just a quick stop on the way to work for coffee. Amble parking and conveniently located close to offices and other business.

Who doesn’t love Starbucks? And this one is at the entrance to our building… at least it was before it closed.

I have lived in San Diego my whole life and I have been to many Starbucks locations, this is by far the best. The customer service is incredible and they remember your name and drink orders. That’s impressive since they have people constantly coming in and out. This place just has a great staff.

At this super busy ‘Bucks they want you OUT. Since turnover is key, you lose the love you get from a more neighborhood oriented Starbucks.

This is a superior place for business meetings; far better than the average suburban Starbucks. Five stars would be too much for any Starbucks, since that really isn’t the goal for a chain. The décor, the service, the lack of stroller-bound infants(sorry nannies), the outdoor seating, and the crowd all get pretty close to five stars nonetheless. It’s especially nice during good weather, which is like 320 days a year. One note is that it can be a little tricky to find, especially from the East. Be prepared to walk a little bit from your parking spot as well. Since there is another(vastly inferior) Starbucks across Mira Mesa, you’ll probably want to sync up with associates and designate just which store you have in mind. I usually send a link to this page. See you there. Re: the food and coffee: it’s a Starbucks.

Our first day in San Diego came with a large to do list, the most important being Sarah getting her hair did. We had a great referral from our friend Doug for a stylist and after ten days of being on the road she was ready to be pampered. It was a good twenty-five minute drive but we were told that anything within a half hour is close… so we had the GPS help us out and arrived in Mira Mesa just in time for her appointment. While Sarah got pampered, I plopped down in the neighboring Starbucks and enjoyed a few double tall nonfat no foam vanilla lattes(90 caleries each), and surfed the Web looking for work and Unilocaling my little heart out. This Starbucks does AMAZING traffic… the whole time I sat there a constant stream of folks were coming through and not even in spurts… it was relentless. The staff were courteous, quick, and polite to all. Impressive for such traffic. I do have to admit, Sarah and I visited about six Starbucks along the way from Grand Rapids to San Diego and we reviewed none. I wasn’t about to have to come up with six different ways to say how average Starbucks is. But here, at this location, Starbucks is running and winning the coffeehouse marathon. Tip: Chill outside… great people watching. Oh, and the chicken place next door has free wifi well within range.

It’s a Starbucks… which is nothing really different when it comes to the coffee selections but here is what I like about this store. You can call in orders & they actually get it right! We normally call in about 10 – 20 drinks for the peeps at work for an afternoon pick me up a couple of times a month(ok sometimes more) and they are always accommodating to us and in about 10 mins all the drinks are up and lined up ready to go! Hooray! :)

Three words: Service. Service. Service. Where many Starbucks locations lack, this one shines. I can always trust that when I stop in this location before work, no matter how hectic it gets(especially being in the middle of a business district AND next to a freeway entrance), the staff always make it a personal experience. They’re so efficient and so damn nice! And with as many customers as they get, they remember names AND their favorite drinks! I come here maybe once a week(if that!), but they’ve already started to remember my name and the way I like my latte. Amazing! Yes, Starbucks is an institution, but with the quality of people that work at the Scranton location, you feel like it’s a neighborhood café.

5 stars for 5 reasons: 1. The people that work here are really friendly and care about customer service. They even remember names of their regulars! 2. The service is quick considering how busy this location gets! 3. The outdoor patio furniture is super comfy and nicer than any INDOOR furniture I owned between the years of 1998 – 2005. 4. The location is CLOSE to my office, so when the J-O-B is getting crazy I can take a breather and stroll over here for a break. 5. You can get caffeine, snacks, meals, and GIFTS! When I need a gift for a friend or coworker and didn’t have a chance to get to the mall this Starbucks is only a hop, skip and a jump away! It’s a win-win situation! Who doesn’t love getting Starbucks cards??!
