Of course a little over priced at the airport or even the same as any other Starbucks haha but most of the fraps I got here, lacked flavor. The service is a little slow depending who’s there. Most of the employee’s are a lot older so have some patience. If you have no choice to get your fraps or coffee here then do so lol but if you can wait… might as well wait til you go to another.

I would give a –5 stars if I could. Rude customer service. This crew is working together to purposely make the entire experience horrible. Ordered 4 drinks they were all wrong, missing ingredients and missing 3 inches off the top of our drinks.

So I visited this specific Bux about seven months ago and never got around to writing a review for it. Let me tell you, after seven months, the fact that I still remember Nicole at the counter must tell you something. I visit Bux three times a day on average… I know many of the people behind the counter just because I am in the different ones so often… But Nicole? First Time. Lasting Impression. She went above and beyond to ensure the order I input was perfect before I left.

I love Starbucks, but not necessarily the prices. However, I will keep paying those prices as long as they continue their excellent customer service. My niece recently spilled her vanilla bean frap shortly after ordering it and they were quick to get her a new one. That goes a long way in my book. Keep up the great customer service! We went here just before closing one weekday evening while we wait for our beloved mother in law. The line wasn’t too bad and we only waited about 5 mins to get served. Although this is a fully functioning Starbucks, there is definitely something special about this one. The atmosphere is buzzing, the memorabilia is great and there are lots of excited people around watch while you wait. It’s a fun thing to watch arriving people traveling you can see almost everyone frustrated and tired.

Hard to screw up a cup of coffee at a Starbucks, and this one delivers the same cup as anywhere else across the country. Saw some reviews that were less than 4 stars regarding the staff, but that wasn’t my experience. The staff was pretty bubbly/friendly for a Monday morning where everyone is crammin’/jammin’ to get on their Southwest flight(and probably a lot grumpy!)

Coffee was even more expensive than other Starbucks I go to regularly. Ridiculous. $ 2.50 for a tiny little regular cup of coffee? I won’t be back.

This sure is one busy location right outside the check-in counters. I am sure folks need a coffee before getting in line especially during the busy days like the weekend after Christmas which is when I was there.

I was very happy with my experience at Gate 38’s Starbucks. All the baristas were quick and really nice.

Apparently doesn’t exist anymore! This terminal is a complete disaster and they have seating for exactly 12 people for 10 gates!

Coffee was usual Starbucks«quality». The cashier was overly conversational and seemed to hold up the line. Her random comments were borderline racist and she scolded a little girl as her father stood beside. This location does not have not seating.

Great service, but –1 star for not being able to scan the starbucks card from my phone. I know that this is a starbucks thats inside of an airport but if you carry the name starbucks certain things are expected.

It’s an airport. But at $ 2.65 for a large coffee it wasn’t that much more than a regular Starbucks. Also, they had two choices of coffee other than Pike’s Peak blend. They were friendly despite me not being happy that my flight was cancelled. Don’t forget you can’t take your coffee through security. Drink up if you are on your way somewhere other than SAN. Good coffee, good service and reasonable airport gouging. This is as good as it gets in an airport. Thank you.

Why do they do that to Starbucks’ fans? I am all for immigration rights so I am dumbfounded when a franchise owner puts a lone person at a counter who doesn’t understand me and I couldn’t understand her. The woman before me was so frustrated she left with nothing. I persevered until I thought we both knew what I ordered but it wasn’t. Next time I will stop before the airport for my fix.

This is not the place to order über detailed /specific orders like what I was accustomed in doing when buying in LA /SF area. The baristas that morning were like my aunties(they were all Filipino women) who had a hard time understanding and taking in orders… so I had to simplify my drink… I didn’t dare do the 140 degrees please. I’m not making fun of them… I’m just stating the obvious that don’t try to make your order complex… at this location. It’s not worth repeating yourself over and over and over again because you haven’t had your coffee.

It’s a Starbucks. In an airport. Nothing special as far as that goes but it is one of the better service experiences and food quality in the entire terminal one concourse. Love my SB coffee.

One of the few Starbucks that has a military discount. Didn’t even know this until the young lady asked me if I was military and offered it. Usually you have to ask, show your ID and you still get attitude. Staff was very friendly and it’s easy to get in and out of.

So expensive. but the only starbucks in the airport while our flight was delayed three times. spend 11 dollars on a cin. swirl coffee cake and a grande mocha frappuccino. Totally felt ripped off but what can you do.

Saw that there was Starbucks while heading to the restroom. We had another 1 hour wait so I decided to get us something to drink while we wait. There was no wait here but the Starbucks lingo is so confusing. I asked for a light caramel macchiato. Shes like you mean nonfat? I’m like yea… Then she proceeded to ask if its on ice or the drink is blended. Sigh… The drink came out really fast though but it tasted funny to me.

The newly remodeled Starbucks located in Terminal 1 outside the UAL check-in area reopened last week. It kinda looks the same, only brighter and more organized. As a bi-weekly 12:30AM resource to grab a latte for the drive home from the SD airport, well, it remains très bien! See ya laters Buckeroo!

$ 5.64 for 125oz bottle of Vasa water($ 3.09) and 1 tall(12oz) cup of regular old coffee($ 2.10) plus tax($.45). Are you shitting me? Wait, no? You’re not? Ok, but give me a receipt and then you can go back to angrily yelling at each other in whatever SE Asian language you are speaking. You know, I’ve come around to recognize that while I am not a huge fan of the ‘bucks, it always serves me much better than, say, the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf or some other total crap place. So I’ve been more generous with my stars lately, but take a Starbucks and have it managed by HMSHost? Wow, that’s just a recipe for disaster. And by the taste of my coffee, I’m guessing it was brewed some time this morning(it’s now well after noon). I should have gone to Karl Strauss and ordered a beer instead.
