We’re on a mission to try every restaurant around! Great happy hour, and delicious cheesecake! Yum!

Great place to stop by and enjoy some good appetizers. Visiting from out of town and was walking around Little Italy and found this gem. I will be sure to come here every time we are in the area. We decided to have enjoy a sampling of meats, cheese, fruit along with other great goodies. Not sure about the other reviews the service we got was very good as well. Do not under estimate this place as a friend always says this place is AMAZING!!!

I absolutely love Little Italy. Randomly stopping here was just the cherry on top. Wine and appetizer? Sure! My Moscato was perfect. A great balance of light and sweet. For the appetizer we chose the baked goat cheese. Oh my! Phenomenal! The cheese was accompanied with caramelized onions, roasted garlic and pesto. Put that combination on a piece of french bread made my mouth savor every bite. I will dream about that dish for a long time. Our service was great! Our waitress was attentive and so polite. It confirmed this place on my list forever.

One thing is for certain: my wife is a HUGE fan of the house Pinot Grigio here. We were visiting San Diego over the weekend, and stopped in here for a beverage before meeting up with some friends. While I was a fan of the selection of Italian beers, the wife said the house Pinot Grigio was the best house Pinot Grigio she had ever had. Such was her affection for this wine that we HAD to return on the day we were leaving town for another glass. Since we had a little extra time to kill on our second visit, we also ordered the grilled vegetables, which were pretty good. Both of the sauces served with the veggies were nice. We sat at the bar on both visits, and the bartender was friendly and attentive. Suffice it to say that the next time we’re in town, we’ll be trying out Sogno Di Vino for dinner.

Stopped in tonight for a glass of wine and wow– service was HORRIBLE. Seems like they had 4 or 5 people working but wouldn’t know it for the 20 –30 minutes where they were gone. Was going to get a second glass but after 15 min waiting gave up and decided to go elsewhere. Then another 20 min waiting to get the check solved only my husband going back in the back where they were all hanging out. Still another 5 min to have tab run. And no, they were not busy. Sad as this used to be one of our favorite wine bars.

Delicious, legit Italian food. The service was excellent. One of the best calamari and lasagna. Loved the tiramisu!

A great spot for lunch. Delicious panninis, with a side of pasta salad. Flavorful, filling, & resonably priced!

Penne bolognese was delicious. A nice light broth meat sauce with a wonderful flavor. Pasta cooked perfectly. Fantasia salad was average but good. Service was quick and polite. Not as noisy as other restaurants in the area, so a nice peaceful meal while I was alone traveling for work.

Sogno Di Vino has a variety of seating choices: a section with very comfortable leather couches, low coffee couches, as well as bar seating. The harmonious cozy atmosphere with Mediterranean decorations gives you a more romantic dimly-lit vibe. The place next door is their sister restaurant, Buon Appetito, and I believe they offer a full menu. That place was really busy! They offers a lighter fare of paninis, appetizers, pasta dishes, cheese plates, and salads. Their homemade Strawberry Tiramisu was a lot for the price you pay for it. Really tasty! All in all, it’s a decent place for drinks and enjoying some time with friends before or after lunch or dinner. You can just relax and watch sporting events on their flat screens.

Just left this place and can’t say I’m impressed! Hostess told us to wait at the bar which took about 15min to get noticed and even order a drink Then we got sat down at our table, which after waiting 15min again. Still wasn’t getting noticed by any server so we had to ask another server if they could take our order. He replied«I’m not your server but sure» and nicely took our order. Then we waited probably another 25min for the food(which the place was empty by now) so who knows what took so long… Got our food. Which was delicious and the only reason why they even got 2 stars! I’m on vacation. Wanting a nice dinner and was let down Oh and our dessert had a hair in it and there was a cockroach in the men’s restroom.

If you are looking for delicious apps & wine look no further than Sogna Di Vino. My friend and I shared the cheese board & eggplant appetizer, and 2 bottles of wine. All of it was perfection! The staff was knowledgable and helped us pick perfect wine pairings for what we wanted to experience. This is a must go to in Little Italy!

Came in for anniversary. sat on patio and we ordered a salad, fried calamari, homemade lasagna, and another pasta dish that was recommended by the waitress it had seafood and marinara sauce. busser brought us bread and gave us some waters. I read some reviews on this restaurant and several times people wrote about slow service. definitely accurate. I am a huge fan of fried calamari and haven’t really ever tried some I don’t like — until here. the calamari was all clumped together with batter and we really couldn’t taste it at all. way too much batter. The salad and house dressing was very good. My girl loved her pasta dish but my lasagna was terrible. I guess it’s homemade but it was very greasy from the ground beef and had hardly any cheese whatsoever.. Usually you cannot go wrong with lasagna but I actually ended up sending it back and only tried one bite. . Probably won’t ever return to this place because of the terribly slow service. by the time we got our dinner plates we were full. we only had ordered water and had to ask every time for the busser or helper to refill it. even when the food runner dropped off our appetizer/salad our glasses were completely empty and still didn’t offer us anymore.. I worked in restaurants for over 5 years and this is the very basics. when dropping off any dishes to a customers table you should ALWAYS ask«may I get you anything else at the moment?». and that’s if you’re not observant enough to glance over the table to see if there is anything obvious they need.

Although I had the flight of Rosé wine, the overall experience and the atmosphere was phenomenal. Alessandra was fantastic. Oh, wait, the tiramasu was amazingly delish!

Make the choice. Do it. Grab a seat on the patio where some classy older guy kept getting people coming up to him and saying hi and shaking his hand while he sipped white wine. The serve huge portions despite what other Web Apps may say. I would have given 5 stars but my Risotto tasted like simple steamed rice even though it appeared totally made with Saffron.

After cruising the Farmers Market on Saturday, my gal pal and I were in need of a little relaxation in the sun and some vino. Sogno Di Vino happened to be at the end of the market on India Street and had open patio seating for us to enjoy the sun. We snagged a table and were greeted by the waiter. We glanced over the menu and unfortunately none of the dishes really grabbed our eyes. Prices were also a bit high so we decided to just stick with some wine. I wasn’t too familiar with the vinos they were offering by the glass so we asked our waiter if we could try a bit of a few just to ensure we liked it. He obliged and brought us each two to sample – This was much appreciated. The majority of the wines by glass averaged about $ 10-$ 12…pretty average for downtown. Granted we did not order the food but I think this spot is really about its location — particularly on a sunny Saturday afternoon to people watch while seated outdoors and you get to benefit from the bands playing at the market. All in all, it was ok, not memorable.

This place doesn’t review well… but we tried it anyway and we’re glad we did. We had a lazy week day afternoon on foot, so stopped here for appetizers and a bottle of wine. It was vacation and we decided to splurge. Service was great, food was pretty good(not great). The interior is cute, if not a bit cheesy. as if I myself decided to do some interior decoration. Prices are OK. It’s worth a stop if the afternoon is slow, and you’re just wanting to put your feet up and appetizer your way through a lunch.

One of my favorite neighborhood spots! Sogno Di Vino is perfect for sharing wine and apps with friends. It’s difficult to compare it to the other spots on India because it’s just a different vibe. You seat yourself and can sit on a big couch if you want, and you’re definitely not rushed. The servers have always been super friendly, and are great to just sit around and chat with if they’re not busy. I’ve had a variety of items on the menu(stuffed avocado salad, homemade pesto, etc.), but highly recommend the strawberries & brie salad and the cheese plate. They have also been bringing the menu over from Buon Appetito next door(sister restaurant), so that gives you more options. Overall, I just absolutely love the apps and wine, and it’s the perfect place to relax at with friends. If you’re in the mood for a more traditional sit down restaurant, Sogno Di Vino can be great, but you might prefer something like Buon Appetito. As for me, I’ll be back weekend after weekend!

5÷23÷14 This place is located in Little Italy among many other restaurants and stores on the block. When you enter in it has a warm dark décor. We are greeted by the owner who also was our server as we decided to sit at the bar to grab a little something before dinner that evening to hold us over. My boyfriend ordered a really good salad that we both shared and I got a glass of red wine that was a suggestion of the owner. The salad took no time to come out but while we waited she gave us some olive oil and seasoning too dip some of the warm sourdough bread in. The salad was very fresh and the dressing was awesome. Nice snack to have. We didn’t stay long and didn’t get to explore the menu more than that for this visit but I am interested in having dinner there the next time we are in town.
