Slyther Snake Shop

The owner, sadly I don’t remember her name, was so charming and so knowledgeable about various snakes and their living arrangement needs. I just held a snake for the first time a week prior to visiting this shop a few day ago and now I am desperate to buy one. The snakes start at about $ 70 but the average price was around $ 110. My bf and I went in to waste some time and we nearly spent 45 minutes just chatting it up with the owner while we each held baby pythons. If you want a snake or if you want to learn more about them and their easy upkeep then go to Slyther Snake shop! You definitely won’t leave disappointed!

I was driving around PB a few weeks ago and noticed that there was a sign on the old Dunaway building at the corner of Cass and Garnet advertising a new business upstairs: Slyther Snake Shop. I finally had a chance to check them out today. Slyther is a cool little snake shop that has a pretty extensive variety of different kinds of snakes, along with all the usual supplies such as tanks, bedding, bowls, etc. They’ve also got frozen feeder rats and mice, which is a BIG plus so now I don’t have to drive all the way to Pet Kingdom in Point Loma to stock up. If Slyther carried live feeders, they would get five stars from me. The icing on the cake is that the owner is super-​cool and super-​friendly. No website or phone number yet — hopefully she’ll get that going soon. Definitely recommended for any snake fan.
