After searching and reviewing other contractors for a new tiled floor, Glenn Hardcastle of Specialty Tile & Stone was the one that I selected, and I am so HAPPY that I did! Other people will sometimes low-​bid just to get the job, but Glenn was fair and did this remodel for us as if it was his own house.
Of all the ones that bid on this job, Glenn was the ONLY one who drew up a floor diagram and a design for my fireplace as well. His attention to detail on each placement of tile was absolutely amazing. Each tile had to be perfect otherwise he wouldn’t have moved on to the next tile.
The demolition of the old vinyl floor, and the cleanup at the end of each day was great too. No complaints at all.
Glenn is quite a handyman as well. Because my new appliances had to be installed on a certain day, Glenn ended up installing the plumbing for the new dishwasher and fridge, plus did the electrical on my cooktop/​oven and overhead vent. He also helped us install our brand new 55″ TV plus the sound system too.
We are so pleased with our new kitchen remodel, and I would highly recommend anyone who is considering a kitchen or bath for tile, wood or even vinyl floors to call him up. You’ll be so glad you did… just like me.
In fact, if there was a 10-​star… he would get it hands down!!!
