Food was great! Service was great! We went for brunch on Sunday and had the $ 10 almost all you can drink mimosas, very delicious. It gets crowded fast luckily we came before the rush:)!!

I wish I didn’t have to be a sour puss. And I guess I don’t technically have to. But this place has so much potential! Ticket times are horrifying– even on quiet nights. I always order my Xtra sauces and dressings when I place my orders because I know I’m a sauce person and don’t like making people take multiple trips. Never get the extras with my food. And by the time anyone checks on me, my food has cooled off or I have reluctantly eaten it. They are usually out of at least one menu item. If you aren’t in the club, don’t expect to be getting much attention, even if your pricey(albeit delicious) manhattan is sitting empty. And sitting empty. And sitting empty… I order expensive drinks– selling me another hurts no one. Except my friendly wallet jaja. I’ve witnessed the bartenders being mean to some of the«less cute» servers, and I’m saying they take way too long on the drinks she/they ring in because they are talking to their rail. That takes money from her pocket. And the customers suffer. Not cool. I just hope the managers and owners treat their staff with enough respect to motivate them to try a little harder. I don’t know. It just bums me out.

I want to like sessions, I do. But each time I go, I walk away with a less than favorable feeling. They have good beer on tap, but no beer menu, you have to get up to the bar to see the chalkboard– they also won’t give you samples of certain beers because they don’t want to waste it… Their food is fair– service is kind, but slow. It seems they’re just trying a little too hard to be something they’re not. It’s not terrible but definitely not my first choice in OB

Had a breakfast grilled cheese with duck fat fries. Service was a little slow but they were extremely busy and I love a lounging brunch where we can take our time. Bottomless mimosas and great food– how can you go wrong !

The best brunch place I’ve ever been to! I’ve been here multiple times and have had great service and great food! Not going to lie but I’ve only ordered the chicken and waffles every time because ITISTHEBESTIVEEVERHAD! And the hot carrot sauce they have is amazing and go a with the chicken and waffles perfectly! My boyfriend and friends have loved other choices on their menus. They also have a very excellent selection of craft beers. Great service, must visit!!! Love love love this place!!!

Went in there late last night for the first time with some friends and it was a pretty chill place. The food itself was really good, the pretzels were well done, good crunch, good flavor… the beer cheese sauce was fantastic and the whole grain mustard was a good compliment. Truffle fries were off the chart good, and the dipping sauce again was very good. The bartender was awesome… made my wife a killer cocktail. Didn’t catch his name but he was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back!

I came here for a mutual friend’s going away gathering. It was my first time at Sessions Public but I had heard great things about it from fellow Unilocalers. For those who are expecting elaborate décor and all things fancy schmancy, this isn’t the place. Rather, it’s the kind of joint to grab a burger and beer with friends, catch a game, and relax. I ended up ordering a burger that was oh so tasty! Medium rare with aged gouda, arugula, tomatoes, pickled red onions, and garlic aioli served with a brioche bun. Nothing more, nothing less but it was delicious! I didn’t opt for it this time but for an extra $ 1.50, you can add a fried egg, bacon, or avocado. Pair your burger with a pint of whatever suits your fancy and you’re good to go! Parking can be a bit challenging but I’ve had some luck with nearby street parking. Enjoy!

This place is amazing. They have a little bit of everything so it’s great for group get togethers and such. My friend and I walked in to meet a smiling host who happened to be our waitress as well. She was delightful and knowledgable with the offerings. I had the beer braised brisket, potatoes, and eggs for brunch. It was great. I also had a Bloody Mary which was perfectly spicy. They have an awesome little Bloody Mary bar available so if you’d like, you can add whatever else you’re craving to it free of charge. My friend got the chicken and waffles, that was the best she has ever had and she’s a huge foodie so that says a lot. Bottomless mimosas are available for $ 10 during brunch! Awesome food, staff, and killer atmosphere. Vibes are warm and welcoming.

Yesterday(Tuesday) I walked by and saw this amazing deal«Wednesday bottomless mimosas and waffle and chicken dinner» Today, Wednesday I went for the bottomless mimosas and waffle and chicken dinner… They decided not to do it just hours before dinner time. All I had for lunch was a bagel. I am ticked.

This is a really cool spot that I feel like is a locals-only secret. I’m sure you get tourists in here occasionally, but it is so nice that it’s not overrun with out of towners. They have amazing drinks and bottomless mimosas from noon to 3 on Saturday. Then they open at 10 on Sunday. The food is really good and the space is trendy and modern. Almost has a rustic appeal which I love. Drinks are strong and cheap and there’s a cool patio! Love it here.

First time visiting and it was for an event. They are located right on a corner and it’s actually easy to miss. There is free parking in the back. Going inside you’ll notice it’s sort of ‘old school’ in the front and a bit more trendy/contemporary in the back. Very clean place and everyone who works here is so nice. They have more than a dozen local beers on tap and some of the names are quite creative. They serve the beers nice and frosty cold. We took a seat in the back and again, we arrived early so we had no problem getting a small table but as the evening went on, the place was really crowded. We started off with the chicken wings because they were on special that night. They offer many different flavors but we stuck with the traditional buffalo wing flavor. We got a bowl with I think half a dozen drumsticks. There was one flat wing and the rest were drumsticks. This was unfortunate because I’m a flat wing guy and don’t like the drumstick type. But I figured they would mix it up and disappointed they don’t. The wings were just a bit under cooked. The skin on wings should be well cooked but the skin on these was still soft and chewy instead of being crispy. But the worst part was the side sauce. It looks like blue cheese or maybe ranch but it turns out to be a garlic aioli sauce! Unfortunately, they don’t advertise this on the menu and I have never ordered wings and received anything but blue cheese or ranch dressing. The least they could do is offer a choice but the garlic aioli just does NOT go with wings. We ate the wings but nobody dipped in the sauce. Terrible combination. Next we tried the Chicken Bacon sandwich and the Bacon & Bleu Sliders. The Bleu Sliders were pretty good. The meat was cook quite well and the cheese very flavorful but honestly couldn’t taste and never saw the bacon. It’s actually okay because I would prefer the sliders without the bacon, but since it was advertised with bacon… The chicken bacon sandwich is on a brioche bun and again, we have the garlic aioli. Both meals came with a side of fries. The fries are great when they are fresh and hot but they seem to go cold and soft rather quickly and then lose their flavor. Overall we didn’t finish our meals. We came here for an event and not for the food. It certainly is a fun place but I know that mostly had to do with the people I knew that all came for the same event. But I cant’ imagine coming back here for the food. I don’t know what’s up with their chef/cook who seems to think everything is great with garlic aioli. Overall a pretty average place but fun if you are meeting up with friends to just have a drink.

I just went here for a girls night out and I really enjoyed it! So I went back for a date night with my hubby a week later! Their drinks are real using a nice hefty amount of liquor and fresh flavors. I had a Moscow Mule and with the ginger and bitter it was amazing! I asked to add a simple syrup in drink 2 for added sweetness. Hubby had a Soft Negroni and it was so smooth! The food is fresh, piping hot, and the flavors are original and pair perfectly. We ordered the Poutine which is duck fat fries smothered in gravy and cheese curds topped with fresh pork! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Their Chicken Bitties are also delicious, and I don’t usually like sweet and savory. On Thursday, they have 50 cent wing night and the Original Salt Wing was my favorite. All in all, a great experience! Highly recommend this place! Update: still amazing!!! I always ask for a little simple syrup in my Moscow Mule. to add a little sweetness. We got the Brussels sprouts and they are insane! So good! I ordered gravy to dip my fries in and it did cost $ 4 which seems a little steep, but I don’t care. My food is never this fresh anywhere I go! So good! I stand by my word!

Limited hours– they open at 5pm during the week and happy hour is until 619pm, so technically it’s like happy(a little over an hour). The happy hour consists of $ 3 off wine, and $ 3 pints of whatever is on special. On certain days it appears they have other specials as well. We started out with a wine and pint of their special. Had the duck tacos with chicharones, asian slaw and instead of the fried rice, I switched it to duck fat fries. My bf had his fave– the chicken bacon. The duck meat was a little dry and the chicharones were also dry and lackluster. It came with a habanero hot suace, which was more hot than flavorful– but I was able to finish it. Kind of wish it came with a salsa. The fries were amazing, the garlic aioli really sets it off. I figure, if you find something you like here, probably best to stick with it. That being said, my bf always gets the chicken bacon burger, and duck fat fries and I had a bite of his and it was extremely juicy and delicious. p. s. Their menu needs to be updated online.

A really quaint place without any crazy flare. The people are very friendly and helpful. Ashley was a really friendly and helpful server/bartender. She helped me answer all of my questions(I asked a lot!), helped my friends and me choose beers that fit our tastes, helped us choose foods that we could share, and made sure to keep refilling our waters despite how busy they got in trivia night. I was very impressed because that place was completely packed! There is a small but inviting beer selection and their Moscow mules are tasty! I enjoyed the drinks on happy hour here. My friends loved the place so much that trivia night became a regular weekly event for a while. Notes: 1. Parking is hard because this place is near the corner and you must rely on street parking. Also the street is a bit dark. 2. Daily happy hour: 2 for 1 select drafts(ask your friendly server), $ 5 Moscow mules until 6:19PM! Then other specials on other days. It’s worth it! 3. If you come here during trivia night, come early because the place fills up fast! Onto the food: Duck fat fries: Crispy golden brown on the outside and soft on the inside. Dipping the well done fries in melty, tasty, and savory duck fat was amazing. That dish disappeared so fast that it didn’t even have time to cool down! The garlic aoili dipping sauce was tasty and surprisingly not overwhelming. Hush Puppies: This was my first time trying hush puppies and they were tasty! They came in a nice little basket with a heavier golden brown color but it was nice, soft, and yellow on the inside. I enjoyed the cheddar flavor that was offset by the jalapeño. The honey duck butter was a nice contrast to the«spicy». Flatbread: Delicious savory and tender braised duck on lightly browned flatbread. The fig jam and caramelized onions were nice and sweet, the mahon cheese was tasty, and the arugula added a light bitterness to the dish. Loved it. Burger: The patty was cooked to a perfect medium as we ordered. The garlic aoili was tasty as we tried before. The burger had so many goodies that I couldn’t help but to love it: roasted red bell pepper, melted and tasty aged gouda, the grilled onions, fresh arugula, confit tomatoes, pickled red onions, and toasted bun. Not to mention the wonderful lightly seasoned fries which tasted amazing with the leftover duck fat. Chicken Bacon: Another really tasty item here! There was a wonderful grilled chicken breast, crispy bacon, melted swiss cheese, a soy garlic glaze filled with flavor that wasn’t overpowering or too salty, and to top it off: con pane grilled bread. Yum! Overall this is a nice cozy place with friendly service and tasty food. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy happy hour or trivia night. My friends and I will be back again.

I made it out to Sessions for a Sunday funday brunch. We came in around 11ish and it wasn’t very crowded at all. First up, the boozey brunch cocktails. They have bottomless Mimosa’s for $ 10 and single ones for $ 5. Although, they don’t let you«upgrade» to bottomless without paying another $ 10 which is a little silly. I didn’t partake b/c I don’t like tomato soup in my drinks but a friend did the DIY Bloody Mary. They bring you your booze and you can decorate it with all the bacon and celery you like. They have an awesome brunch menu! Plenty of greasy, breakfast, and sandwichy options. I went with some sort of breakfast grilled cheese sandwich. It was really good. It had plenty of eggs, bacon, and cheese on it and came with a side of delicious home fries. Beware that the bread is pretty greasy. I also tried the biscuits w/sausage gravy and it was soo good. Not too much gravy and the right amount of sausage incorporated. The service was pretty good overall but nothing amazing. Overall Session’s has a solid brunch menu with great deals on brunch cocktails.
