It’s been a long time since I’ve been to the Sancutuary spa, and I decided to go back because they offer oxygen facials, which I had with Alex. The results were absolutely amazing. My dry(crêpe like) skin has not felt this good in years. I must confess that I have spent many thousands on injectables as well as laser treatments from a renowned and skilled area cosmetic dermatologist. However, I’ve reached a point(in age) where any more is going to give me that«worked on» look I personally want to avoid. The oxygen facial made such a difference that I am going to go back and have one weekly for six weeks then go on maintenance monthly. This is what the skin ceuticals website recommends. If you want hydrated and youthful skin that feels great, I highly recommend seeing Alex and getting an oxygen facial. You won’t be disappointed. I think I found the fountain of youth.

Consistently excellent service from the estheticians. Their recommendations for skin care products have proven to improve my face and neck. Looking younger than ever.

I’m glad to see other people feel the way I do. A couple of weeks ago my daughters and I had facials at the sanctuary. I hadn’t been there for a while and it’s not what it used to be. I had called a few days before to make sure they have down what I had requested and I told them to put down that we wanted the classic facial. When I went to pay they charged me for the signature facial which is $ 20 more. I also noticed that the towels and sheets on the bed had spots, that turned me off. The facial was good but the people that make the reservations do not seem to write down what you make reservations for. I’m definitely not going back for the prices they charge.

What happened? They use to offer monthly facial specials(something I looked forward to). I use to get the silk peel and oxygen facial for about $ 200.00 and now it’s close to $ 400 for the same service. I am looking for another place. Now, it is another big corporation.

love love love the sanctuary spa! I have gotten many massages, facials and waxing services here and I have never been disappointed. All the estheticians are simply amazing! They are well educated, passionate and loving. They recommend the proper skin care treatment that your skin needs as well as at home skin care regimens. They have been in the industry for a very long time and know what they are doing. I trust all of them :) Same goes for massage therapists. They have a plethora of facial products: jan marini, skin ceuticals, neocutis, la roche posay, intraceuticals, dermalogica and the body deli. They also have home stuff for retail. highly recommend this spa and cant wait to go back for my next appointment!

The Sanctuary Spa at PAC/Bay Club is high quality. I’m a pretty experienced at the art of facials(hated my acne prone skin growing up) and I(no offense previous reviews) must disagree with their review of the spa quality. I’ve sent many friends and family to see Jennifer Bonneau and everyone RAVES about her skill, softness, and willing to squeeze in a little extra to be sure your skin looks great! What the other reviewer failed to understand is that one facial cannot reverse years of poor skin hygiene(sun, smoking, dehydration, cheap products). Jen and the girls(also see Bethany) are experts at prescribing a home protocol that will reverse damage, hydrate and keep your skin looking great! They also understand when you might need an IPL(something they don’t do). In fact, Jen can always tell when I need to drink more water and she makes that my protocol. Also what the previous reviewer doesn’t understand is that all hair stylists, nail techs and yes, estheticians all work on commission. I’ve cheapened out on peels and facials and it’s been a waste of $$. Go see Jen Bonneau and spend a little more on your facial, eye cream or home régime – you’re worth it!

I scheduled two european facials. One was with Ashley and the other with Beth. We checked in at the front desk and we were told to go to the relaxation room. Eventually the esthetician came out to get us and took us to our rooms. The bed was very comfy. The facials are somewhat personalized, for example, mine focused more on extractions and my mom’s did not. Mom and I entered the rooms at the same time and I was out about 10 minutes before her. This led me to believe that the esthetician was either including the time she took to go get some tissues she was lacking in the room, or that my mom’s esthetician gave her extra time. As we were walking out of the spa and exchanged information about our treatment experiences, we realized we had gotten very different treatments. In between different cleansers, scrubs, and masks, mom received hand, feet, and neck massages. When we inquired about this difference, the front desk said that each estheticians has her own style or that they use their judgement to asses the client’s needs. I had not received a facial in a long time, but I definitely remember that any facial usually includes a facial massage and often a neck massage… which I did not receive. Mom also requested for her to focus on extractions and Beth didn’t focus too much on that. Bottom line: get Ashley for extractions(she was very thorough) and Beth for a more relaxing experience. I don’t think I would personally come back because nothing stood out to me.
