Love their food but they hardly give any beans now, a real disappointment. I hate it when a restaurant gets so big they think it’s ok to rip their customers off.

Taco tuesdays are the best. The staff are friendly at the restaurant and over the phone. I like to call in my order ahead of time. So that i won’t have to wait. They get pretty busy on tuesdays. i’m a fan of rubios. I’d have to say that the fish tacos are the best. I’ve tried other places and nothing compares. They also have other dishes but i’m not a fan of their burritos. i’d rather get the tacos. and the salsa bar is good too.

Super nice/great customer service! I was helped out by Angela and Kat. I accidentally bought corn tortillas for my tacos for taco Tuesday. I told them I meant to purchase the tacos with flour tortillas and they made them for me on the spot! Really great experience, hope to visit again(-:

I love their Original Fish Tacos! I came here to redeem my free birthday entrée one night and it was a pretty slow night. The staff were very helpful and friendly! The girl who took my order definitely made me feel welcomed. She was so knowledgeable and looked like a hard worker. I love coming into places like these where they actually have a 5 star service at a fast food chain. Portions were great I had leftover chips and beans. Oh and fyi, on Tuesdays they have taco Tuesday specials.

This Rubio’s has bad customer service. We went at 10am New Year’s Eve. The cashier opened the door and did not say hello. After ordering food we sat down. I went to the restroom and the door was locked. I waited for 10 mins. I asked the cashier if someone was inside. She said if the door is lock, there’s someone inside. I just went to use Starbucks restroom. When I came back, my husband was upset. He said the cashier unlocked the restroom for another customer. What the heck? I told my husband don’t let them ruin your day. I am not going back to this Rubio’s. No manners and bunch of idiots!

Usually I like Rubios, like a healthier Mexican offering. This particular establishment this Sunday cheated me. First they post Chicken tortilla soup, original fish taco plate, and drink $ 7.99. The cashier tries to gypt me out of a drink saying it’s not included. I point at the sign. Then my food comes out consisting of only soup and one fish taco. How is that a «plate»? The fish taco plate comes with chips and two tacos. Don’t trust the menu pay after you get your food here should be an option.

Every Tuesday my boyfriend and I would go here for fish tacos since they’re cheaper. It’s usually super packed here on Tuesday nights. So packed that you can’t even find a place to sit at. Definitely recommend the fish tacos with no red sauce and ask for white sauce on the side. They also upgraded the interior of this location. It looks much nicer now.

This location is wonderful, I always remember Rubio’s been very bright and open. This was my first time going to Rubio’s with in a long time and it did not disappoint. It’s the same as I remember it to be but they did definitely upgrade their menu. Me and my girlfriend came in a closing time or near closing time and it was not busy at all which is good for us. This time aroundI ordered the chicken street tacos combo meal. It was light and extremely delicious. What I love about their meals the most is the chips and beans it comes with. Overall our experience was average but Rubio’s is always a quick meal and expect quality freshly radiance. I would definitely recommend this location because you can get cold stone after or Starbucks or Jamba Juice. Great food prime location.

Come on. This is one pathetic anemic burrito for 8 bucks. This is the steak Baja grill burrito and it’s the last I will ever have. Look at it… a few small pieces of meat, a light smear of guac, and that’s about it. This probably wouldn’t feed a child. There’s simply no value here and the flavor isn’t great either. Bummer.

The new renovation is way much nicer than before. Everything else is pretty much the same as before. I’m still a huge fan of the fish tacos and churros!

They are best known for their fish tacos and that is for a reason! Their fish tacos are extremely good and if you go on Tuesday after 5pm their tacos are only $ 1.50.

I stopped in for lunch after getting some shopping done at Old Navy across the street. I’ve been on a salad kick lately, so I went for the Balsamic and Roasted Veggie Salad with the Regal Springs Blackened Tilapia for only $ 7 and some change. I was very pleased when the salad arrived with two filets of tilapia with a nice black Cajun dry rub on them. The tilapia was very tasty with only a slight muddy appeal, common with this type of fish. The fish was soft and tender and I really liked the Cajun spices they rubbed in. The salad came with, in addition to the spring butter lettuce mix, with a mêlée of well roasted vegetables such as fire-roasted corn, roasted sweet peppers, onions, zucchini and squash, ripe Hass avocado slices, and a cilantro onion and mix. The dressing was a light balsamic vinaigrette made with extra virgin olive oil. All the vegetables were well prepared, were seasoned well, and tasted very good. I especially enjoyed the roasted red and green peppers. The amount of dressing was just right, and the only thing this salad needed, was a little more sliced avocado. Service was good at the counter, and the you lady who brought me salad to the outside patio was great. She even offered to bring anything else I needed.

This Rubio’s has upgraded to a «coastal grill» for more of a bar and grill feel! I like!

Taco Tuesday Fish Tacos for $ 1.50 each!!! And regular grilled tacos ranging from $ 3.69-$ 4.29. They also offer burritos, salads, bowls, enchiladas, quesadillas and nachos. I’ve only had tacos here and they are good but are given in very small portions. I love their picante and diablo sauce! Other condiments offered also include: mild, tomatillo, roasted chipotle, jalapeño citrus, fresh limes, onion & cilantro and jalapeños. It’s a good place to go for a quick small bite. The place is also clean and nicely decorated.

This Rubio’s has it all: Quick service, really nice staff and delicious food. I like that there is a lot of seating at this location. Even when it’s packed at dinnertime on Taco Tuesday, there is somewhere to sit. The cashier who assisted me, Angela, was very friendly and patient as I asked her questions about the items — I had never tried their fish tacos and I wanted to know the difference between the offerings. I got the classic fish tacos, which contain a cabbage blend, «special sauce» — I think tartar with spices — and I think there was avocado in mine as well. It was very tasty and at $ 1.50 a pop on Tuesdays, a really good deal too.

Came here with a large group of friends on a Wednesday night. There was plenty of parking in this plaza. Parking is shared with Starbucks, CVS, Home Depot and more. We walked in. It looked nice and clean. The girl running the register was nice. I was not sure what to order so I rolled the dice and decided to have the beer-battered fish burrito. I got my drink cup and number. There was plenty of seating. I placed my number on the table, got my drink and some mild salsa. About five minutes later I heard my name called and got my burrito. I ate my first bite and it was delicious. The chips that came with it were fresh. It is rare that I finish a burrito in one sitting. This night was one of them. I look forward to eating more of their fish burritos in the near future.

Everytime I come to this location, I remember why it’s been forever since my last visit. The service is terribly slow And Every. Single. Time. My order is incorrect, not even close to right.

My favorite thing to order here has to be the gourmet shrimp tacos with bacon pieces and avocado. The white chipotle sauce makes this taco super tasty. I was amazed that Rubios had these delicious hand crafted tacos when I was introduced to it. For $ 9 you can get 2 tacos with chips and beans. I don’t care too much for the chips and beans but I love the tacos. The price isn’t that great for fast food but I still spurge to get the tacos once in awhile. The burritos, street tacos and other items did not impress me in the past.

Monday night my family and I ate in at this Rubios. we ordered the new Surf n Turf and all 3 were cold. Brought meals back up to the counter and they remade but the manager on duty never once said«sorry» etc. The place wasn’t crowded and the manager carried on with his cleaning of the salsa bar. This isn’t the first Rubios Ive had issues with. Ive been going to their restaurants all over ever since the 1st one in Mission Bay opened back in the 80s. Probably wont be going to this one again, or any Rubios for awhile.

Im a big fish taco fan and I am all about it!!! Grilled, fried, sauteed, whatever… I luhhh me a fish taco! My buddy knew this and said I had to check this place out. I was thinking, is this a chain, fast food??? Yes! So I was a bit skeptical at first but when I tried it, it was a pretty mean fish taco!!! We got the fried one, nice and crispy, fish was cooked well, nice size fish, cabbage and sauce was delicioso, and tortilla shell was nice and soft. A fast food joint? Is that how SD does it? I was still skeptical and ate another one and then I was a believer. Well Im convinced now, gotta go here to get a good fish taco!!! They also have a salsa bar… gotta eat inside the place, I aint trying to get it to-go if the place has a salsa bar.(actually you can) I had to go up there a few times check out the salsas. Happy fish taco’n!!!
