Whoa! I can’t believe how rude and unfriendly the tall black clerk(name is Veronica or Jessica I believe) was during my 3:44 pm visit on Saturday, April 11, 2015. This review is more for her manager than for customers. I doubt a rude clerk is going to keep customers away. But it might. Especially among seniors like myself who generally expect better service than many of the millennials. I walked into the store that was virtually empty on a Saturday afternoon, which I found a little strange. I assumed it must make for a boring shift, so in a show of friendliness and empathy I smiled and remarked, «Slow day huh?» When she answered rather curtly with no sign of friendliness«Not really» it really came off as a «F*ck you, I don’t care what you think.» Oh well. I don’t live in San Carlos and even if I did there is a Walgreens near there.

The employees seem to be misreable which made me not want to come back. The pharmacists were very kind and were very helpful. Kind of pricey, stocked nicely.

This place sucks! Pharmacy takes forever, and employees are not very nice. The store is well stocked for most part, but the employees are not helpful and kinda rude, if you need help good luck, they are under staffed and impossible to get help and when you do its like you are twisting there arm for help. The coupon policy SUCKS!!! I haven’t got any«rewards» $$ recently b/c I try not to come here but when you do earn $$ you can not use it for 24hrs! If you want ice cream good luck, usually only one person checking people out and you have to either wait for them or wait until the see you and decide to call for assistance.

These are bar none the best pharmacist in the state! They remember everyone in my house holds names and medication needs. They are always willing to go above and beyond when the doctors can’t get their $hit together(sorry for the naughty word but it’s true). Very knowledgeable and super friendly. A++++

Pros about this store: + Pharmacists are nice + Ice cream(THRIFTYCIRCUSANIMALCOOKIEFLAVOR) + GNC section: tons of supplements, bigger selection of diet pills, lots of different protein bars(El Cajon Rite Aid does not have a GNC section) + They sell wheel chairs: really fun to kill time with around the store and rap the Cat Daddy song while you’re waiting for prescription(the employees have never told me to get off the wheel chair and put it back = good customer service) + Bathrooms have been clean and fully stocked + Alcohol!!! Lots of it!!! Cons about this store: — I asked to sample a flavor of ice cream and the sample spoons are sized for ants. I could barely make out the flavor of the ice cream. –Bathroom key required: I hate touching those things (bathrooms in back of store next to pharmacy) –Alcohol is probably overpriced so check out the Albertson’s next door.

I personally hate Rite Aid the company for the way it treats its employees. Non the less, this location is great. Staff here is friendly and they do a quick job of getting your stuff filled and sending you on your way. They also do a great job of keeping all your insurance info on file so you don’t have to tell them each time. The techs and pharmacists here are great people, too bad the corporation sucks.

Inventory not priced, makes for lost sales! 3 display stands in front of registers had no price cards in their«holder.» Item on endcap in front of store had no price listed. Noticed this issue 6 times when I went in to purchase one item. Probably would’ve bought more if I knew the cost of things I looked at. This is how you lose sale, Rite Aid. BTW — Rite Aid bathrooms are pitifully nasty in far too many of your stores! And this is a pharmacy??? Shouldn’t happen!!!

This place is quaint, quiet and clean. Pretty small location, pricing is decent. There is hardly ever anybody here when I go. When I used to go pick up my prescriptions there was hardly ever a wait longer than 1 – 2 minutes. Today I went into look at some of their supplements in their GNC section, nice layout and clean. The pricing was so-so but they didn’t have the protein bars(Quest Nutrition) that I was looking for. Still, it’s another convenient Rite-Aid location.

My pharmacist, Julie is the best. She has always been wonderful, has a sweet disposition and is always helpful. She is why I left CVS(even though our local CVS is open 24⁄7), Julie sealed the deal. She knows me by name… how great is that? They may not be your«big time» pharmacy, but they give you better and most important«excellent» customer service! It is few and far between when you have to wait to get a script filled! Thanks, Julie!

The usual Rite-Aid with the usual half witted cashiers who talk too much with many things not marked with a price tag. Business as usual.

I saw on an ad that they were having a candy sale, something they often have, so I came by to pick up some needed hard candy for work. They a lot of candy on sale(see pic), but I settled for the Strawberry Cremes and Mint Life Savers. The bags of candy were $ 3.00 for 2 bags. This location was a little smaller than some of the Rite Aids I have been to. But, on the plus side, this is one of those location that still carry Thrifty ice cream by the scoop. The place was clean enough but a little disorganized. The service was good.

this has to be my least favorite rite aid that i have ever been into, which sucks because it is the one right next to my current apartment. it always has a slight weird odor upon entering, and just looks run down and a bit dirty. the employees are just kinda there and one got pissy when i came in for a hand packed pint, even-though it wasn’t busy and at least an hour before closing. but the part that angers me the most about this location is their thrifty pre packaged ice cream. they never fill their case, i can always see the flavor back there wrapped up, ready to be put out, mocking me. and when you want to try and find an employee to go back to grab it, they are no where to be seen, or say that they cant leave the counter(which that one i understood, but still!) anyway, i go out of my way not to go to this location anymore…
