The Rigoberto burrito is hands down the best burrito in Pb… which isn’t really saying much PB may have a decent amount of mexican food places… but most don’t serve up decent food Rigobertos is a reliable drunk food kindof place… but not somewhere I would travel to sober. Convenience is what made me give them 4 stars

** I FOUND A BOOGERINMYBURRITO **I live close by and have eaten here several times before without any problems. Tonight I went to order a California burrito with guacamole and extra cilantro, and after getting the burrito without cilantro, I asked(POLITELY) to add it. Got halfway through eating the burrito to find a literal booger stuck to the outside of the tortilla. I added a picture, sorry if the quality isn’t great but I know what a booger looks/feels like and this was 100% a booger. I made myself throw up immediately after my discovery and would not eat at this place again with a gun to my head. Considering calling the health department but not sure what good that would do, just please be wary of this place.

A ridiculously amazing breakfast burrito. It was one of the highlights of my recent Unilocal-centric weekend all around San Diego(and specifically on this stop, Pacific Beach). What a funky little hole-in-the-wall, freestanding taco hut. Walk-up window, not a lot of interaction with anyone aside from a quick ordering or pick-up…just a set of stone picnic-style tables… all-in-all, someone may walk or drive right by without giving this place a second look. But the food is STELLAR! $ 6 bucks gets you a pretty huge, chorizo, egg, and cheese burrito and man was this flavorful, filling, and just about the best hangover cure ever!!! LOVEDIT! WANTSMESOMEMORE!

Save your money and a stomach ache. First off they advertise being open 24⁄7 which is a lie. They wouldn’t serve me after a longgggg night of studying around 3:45AM. BUT good thing I just went somewhere else because after realizing that they literally microwave all of their food and everything taste stale wouldn’t want it anyway! I really don’t know how this taco shop is still open. Save your money!

All Rigoberto’s are the best chicken tacos! Very consistent. Always good. Love the habanero hot sauce.

Their food is great. However they have a guy trying to rip off customers. Not the first time this a-hole has tried to f me in the a. Tonight I ordered carne asada fries. About $ 6 on the menu. Told me it was $ 9. Are you kidding me? Several months ago, also on a Thursday, I ordered a breakfast burrito. Way over charged. Too bad they don’t provide a place to complain. DON’T GOTHEREONTHURSDAYNIGHTS. Or bring some lube because you will fkd in the A.

I have been coming here for the past 2 years and this place used to be a lot better. At least you used to get your money’s worth. Now, $ 6.30 for carne asada burrito witha few pieces of meat and the rest is liquid guacamole and salsa. The size of the burrotos have gone down by half. Unless this is the only place that is open, won’t be going back there.

Cute little outdoor area to eat as its predominantly a drive through restaurant. Staff were lovely and accommodating but it’s pretty average Mexican fare. Reasonably priced and open 24 hrs so it’s probably a great place to go when you’re out on Garnet and have the drunchies!

Not bad. I’m an SD native so I’ve had more than my share of taco shop adventures. Cali burrito was good. meat was tender and tasty. I did have rolled tacos here once and they were subpar but it was in the midst of drunk hour. Decent spot.

I’ve had a couple of their fajita burritos, as well as the California and probably something else. I normally order at the front and eat on sight. This time I used the drive through and got a behind the scenes glimpse. I watched the guy take my cash, give me change, and then make my burrito — all with his bare hands. Every taco stand I’ve been to in Mexico either has a separate person handling cash or they wear plastic gloves when handling cash. I won’t be back.

My family and I were looking for a good taco place late in the evening and found this gem! The food was excellent, very large portions(so don’t over order), the carne asada burrito had lots of meat(no fillers needed) and was packed with flavor! My kids ordered the carne asada torta and they were very pleased. All of us give it two thumbs up

This is my favorite Mexican place in all of San Diego. Basically the dankest dank that ever danced. 12⁄10. I highly recommend the potato tacos. Also the bacon is DAAAANK.

I have a tried a variety of menu items since I live so close to Rigo’s. I am shocked about the consistency Rigo’s has. With the high volume of post bar burrito goers, they are still able maintain a decent quality burrito. Rarely is there unmelted cheese, raw fries or an uncooked tortilla. The California burrito is enough to split between two, with heaps of carne asada. Same with the carne asada, my personal favorite. 3 stars is due to their being much better options out there. Also, it is open 24 hours and I have never seen them cleaning ever and I have been at all times during the day/night. I have never seen anything dirty and the Grills look clean from the windows. However, when I live in Santa Barbara, this place freebirds noticeably cleaned their appliances giving me peace of mind. All that in mind, this place is great when looking for a convenient stop for a burrito you will enjoy.

I’ve eaten here twice after a night out and have gotten sick both times. The food is very greasy and the service is super slow. It’s always packed with drunk people late at night making for an unpleasant experience in itself. Decent at best.

The food is good lol I like the carne asada fries and roll tacos and shrimp burrito. The shrimp burrito is good because the quality of seafood is a lot and the hot sauces here are yummy I also recommend the super nachos and breakfast burritos and carne asada and carnitas burrito is bomb. The staff are really friendly lol this better than mexican food in my area. People may say it not worth but why does get like a lot of customers daily and weekends people must like it

Definitely drunk food. Staff is friendly but service is super slow on Saturday night. Waited about 15 mins for a few beef tacos. Tacos were OK. Nothing special. Could use more seasoning.

Some of my friends recommended this place to me because it is so close to all the bars and I thought my burrito was decent at best. I got the Rigoberto burrito and it was alright. Nothing special and it was incredibly hot. Like burned my mouth hot.

By far THEBEST carne asada burrito in California: The Rigoberto’s Burrito. Tons of cheese, meat, guacamole, and french fries wrapped up into a burrito the size of your forearm. And all for less that $ 6! They are fast and friendly here. If you wanted a traditional beach-taco shop, this is it. They are open 24⁄7 and have a drive-thru. What more could you ask for?
