Randy Hicks, MD

Dr. Hicks is great. He is very considerate and detail oriented. He returns calls and messages promptly.

Dr. Hicks does not have a passion for helping his patients and doesn’t even try to pretend to care. He basically told me he is only there to get paid. The most recent visit, he scolded me and I literally left his office crying; making me feel even worse than ever before. This is a man who is supposed to be helping me, but instead would make me feel worse about my condition and told me all he cared about was making money off me & my insurance. From the beginning he was not warm and welcoming. I contemplated looking for a new psychiatrist, but I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt and continued seeing him. But after the last visit when he made me cry, I said I will never go back to someone who makes me feel even worse about myself and doesn’t have a true passion for helping me. He is very old, so maybe after all these years he’s lost his passion for doing this. But if that’s the case, then he should RETIRE.

Thoughtful, considerate, compassionate, and caring. I simply cannot recommend him more highly.

Dr. Hicks is great He keeps the appointments very brief, but he is very smart and more importantly not a pill pusher! He has also been very good about returning all of my calls the same day.

He was recommended to me by a friend who also receives services. He returns calls promptly & I feel listens well to my concerns so that we are able to identify the proper course of action to treat my difficulties. He is very nice as well :) I actually drive in from 5 hours away to see him because I no longer live in the area.

He is extremely good at what he does. He’s fast at returning calls and is caring and helpful. I highly recommend him.

This person came up recommended by my Healthcare plan. I have contacted his office for 2 weeks, left detailed messages, and paged the Doctor which on the machine says he will call back within 24 hours. NO CALL BACK FOR 2 WEEKS. There is not a live person to talk to anywhere in his company! Not even accounts payable! I would not want to have any type of counseling from someone who doesn’t care about patients enough to return a simple phone call.
