Ivy was amazing. I went in with barely an idea with what I wanted and through talking it out we came up with a good new style! Definitely would recommend checking the place out!

Not just cut my hair, SAVED my hair! I came in with breakage and he preserved more length than I thought was possible and my hair looks amazing now!

Came in tonight with my friend to get a haircut I was being helped by MARLEY
butchered my hair I had been growing it out I showed her a picture she over cut did not know how to cut hair
when I asked her if she could style it she said it would cost $ 20 extra I said I thought it was all included in the service when I got up my whole face was full of hair, my clothes were full of hair I couldn’t believe it.
My friend I was with got her hair styled and was charged the same amount as me
when I got home I noticed I had strands in the back that were not cut right my hair was longer in the back with longer strands
I could of gotten a better service at any other salon
I would not recommend this place to anyone very unprofessional

Ivy has been cutting my hair for the last year. Every time I gave her a picture of how I wanted my hair cut she did a great job replicating the cut.

Ivy cut my hair, loved it and they even asked to put my pic on the ralphshairplace insta. Everyone was professional and nice. Definitely gonna come back.

Love this place! Super chill atmosphere and even radder hairdressers. Ivy is my jam! Always a pleasure when I come in.

I recently came to this place for a haircut and it was the worst haircut that I have ever received. Super cuts could of done a better job.
I recently been growing my hair out for a year. It was long enough to the point where I could slick it back and look like John Travolta. It was the perfect length that I wanted.
So I went in for a clean up and this girl did the complete opposite of what I wanted and told her, she basically gave me a screwed up, military chopped butch haircut. To the point where it was like a number 3 on the sides and back. It had no style. I told her to barely touch the top. She even admitted that she screwed up on the sides and needed to take a «little» off the top but ended up cutting basically an inch off the top.
I am so disappointed. It’s going to take me another year to get my hair back how I wanted it.
I seriously went back and got my money back.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.
The girl has blue hair and wears glasses, FYI, her name is Marley. And we all know that post by J. H. Is fake and one of the barbers trying to up the rating and get people in.

Absolutely worst haircut I’ve had in a long time. Armando raced through the cut extremely quickly and carelessly, just pulling and grabbing chunks of hair and hurriedly thwacking away with the scissors without any apparent show of attention or concern for what he was doing. He was done in literally like a minute. The shop was empty so there was no reason for his frenetic rush. The result was a horrible meh mishmash cut with too-​long sides and a too-​short front, untrimmed and uneven spots I didnt notice till I got home… just totally unbelievable and bland and shapeless and nothing close to what I had asked for and/​or the hair style photo I had shown him up front. I’ve had far better haircuts from $ 8 buzz cut barbers and more thoughtful styling from crappy corporate mini-​mall «super clips» type joints. He also has a weird, unpleasant sort of passive-​aggressive snippy hostility about him which made what should have been simple, friendly communication with him into a difficult and uncomfortable ordeal, for me. What an aggravating person and a worthless, bleh haircut. I just wanted to get out of there before further damage was done. I’ll have to get this repaired at an $ 8 clipper barber shop. Obviously I will never go back to this place.

I just got my hair cut there by George. I asked him to do a low fade and he didn’t listen. He sheared me all the way up my sides. I’m furious. Never going there again. I’m a hairdresser myself. He’s been doing it for 30 years and doesn’t listen to his clients. DONT GO HERE!!!

So I decided to give this place another whirl and it was great I got a new hair dresser that really gave me what I was looking for ! Thanks

Friendly staff — nice shop. However, the quality of my haircut was poor.
$ 15 for an all around buzz (expensive!) — about the easiest haircut that can be requested — hard to mess up. The place was empty and the barber took all of 3 – 5 minutes and wound up missing a spot. Bummer — will not be returning.

Great place, one of the best haircuts I have ever received. Cody did an amazing job and took detailed care of the whole job. Also, helped explain my type of hair, and what is the best way to style and what kind of product to use.
Overall, very pleased, will be coming back for more haircuts with Cody.

I came here today to get my haircut, my hair was down to my shoulders and I was needing something new, came in and was welcomed by Tyler and was very friendly while I waited nervously. Cody cut my hair and was very friendly and kind and reassured me I was in good hands and I was, I was so nervous since I was cutting it super short but Cody made me look fantastic. I left with a great haircut and will be back again. Thank you so much!

I’ve never had a bad experience having my hair cut at Ralph’s. I especially think that Cody is a superb hairstylist. To be completely honest, I get huge amounts of anxiety when going to get my hair cut. I’m always afraid that I won’t be able to articulate what I want, or that I actually don’t know what I want and wish the stylist could just intuit what to do. Cody does just that. He has cut my hair three times now, and each time gets better! He is great at making conversation, but I can always tell that he going through his mind figuring out what is going to make me look by best! I never feel rushed. When he is working on my hair it seems like I am the only one that matters. It is a great feel, and I always walk away extremely pleased with the look. Thank You Cody!

This place was awesome. I was a walk in client and they got me right in, I got a hair cut, and shave for $ 22 can’t beat that price and it looked great!

The staff here is so friendly. Jess fixed my horrible haircut from a previous week and my layers look so balanced. She even gave wonderful advice about how to tend not only for my hair, but also my scalp since the cold weather made it super dry. She even gave me tips on how to curl my hair to help make it appear fully and longer lasting. Would come back again and definitely worth its price.

This is a great salon. High end expert service for a extremely reasonable price. Make an appointment or try your luck on walking in… So far we have walked in twice with the same stylist, Cody, who is great.
Great atmosphere, and friendly staff. Great for a quick cut or a dye and style… This place is full of people who know and care about making sure your hair looks good.

Jess is my favorite hairstylist ever. I love that I can just trust her. No intense instruction. I just sit and tell her fix it and when she’s done… it’s fixed!!!

This review is for Scotty, with whom I had an awesome experience! I walked in and he took me right away. I explained my situation right off the bat – I’d had long hair my whole life, was wanting to cut it SHORT for a while, but was super scared. I showed him a couple pictures of what I had in mind and we worked together to decide what exactly I wanted. He knew I was kind of freaking out the entire time, and would just laugh with me which lightened the mood. A couple times, I stopped him and asked questions – «How is this gonna look? Is it gonna be short here? Which way is this piece of hair gonna go??» He would explain everything he was doing which was settling for me.
Like I said before, this was a big step for me and I had my doubts. I was afraid I was going to hate it and want my long hair back. But Scotty did an amazing job and it turned out being exactly what I wanted! Short, trendy hair that I can play around with, flip any way and it still looks good. It FEELS amazing too, physically and mentally :) Makes me wonder why I didn’t do it sooner!
Also, the girl working there, Sara, was super cool and made the trip to put coins in my meter when I told them I was worried about running out of time. My whole experience here was great and I’m highly satisfied :) Thank you guys!

Here: I’m young, filipino, long black hair. Super SIMPLE with my hair style.
I haven’t gotten a hair cut in a whole year just because I never want to spend 60 dollars just for a trim, so I decided I wanted something different but I wanted to keep my long hair.
I’ve always wanted to shave half my head but the work I do won’t let me be that creative with my hair.
My compromise: Shave the back of my head, and what I originally wanted was it shaved and edged out lines of designs, what I got CHEETAH PRINT and was able to get my usual hair cut and keep my long hair.
Sarah is amazing, and this idea came to me from her pervious work I found on Unilocal.
After a good 2 hours of bleaching and dying and cutting.
Absolutely satisfied with the work.
Awesome atmosphere, cool ass people, good music
and these people UNDERSTAND hair and people.
She totally saw what I was going for and still keep my simple hair to cover up my crazy look:) Can’t wait to go back for a touch up.
