My consumer experience with QHR is that they consistently called my house and asked me questions about my income, utilities bills but refused to state the reason for their calls. When pushed(hard), on the third call, they disclosed they were selling solar panels at which point I told them to foxtrot oscar As a consumer my experience was that in an unsolicited call, my time was wasted by a pushy salesman who refused to state the reason for his call. Make of that what you will; that’s my opinion of the experience.

First they called and lied stating they were the company that installed my previous panels. Then they called persistently over the months, made an appointment and they didn’t show up! Today was the last straw, I explained to the pushy sales guy that I did not know if Saturday was a good day that I had to check with my family(stated this 4 times). Then he asks if my husband would be available Saturday! He obviously was only listening to himself and his pitch! Sales guy knew nothing of the product and could not answer simple industry questions. I told him that it would be best if they did not call me any more and to remove my name from their customer list; he hung up on me. QHR if you can’t handle yourself professionally on the phone, why would anyone risk allowing you into their homes; rest assured I will not!

I have been looking at windows and have had 5 estimates on 5 windows and 2 sliders. QHR rep looked at and measured than showed me his bag of goodies. He than told me that the regular price was $ 24k, I almost lost my lunch. He than said because he likes us and because it’s Christmas he could come down to $ 17k. I said I loved the product but not for $ 10k more than milgard which was $ 7200. He asked what I would be willing to pay for a supperior product. He said $ 12k? I thought that was better but I’d still need to figure why it would be 5k better than milgard. He said he had another company that would do it for 12k but I had to sign today. I then had another anlin company quote me $ 7500 with a doggie door in one of the sliders. So i added 2 addition windows for a total oof $ 8200. Deal done bad business QHR.

These people called my aunt’s house. I asked if this was a sales call and to please remove the number from their call list. The woman on the line said they were the government and that they needed to renovate our home. she said she would not remove my aunt’s number from their call list. My aunt is a senior and tells me that they call all the time. I asked to speak to her supervisor and I was disconnected. I just spoke with the company and the gentleman I spoke to was very comforting, took our numbers and put them on the do not call list. He also told me that he was going to address this employee right away. I guess the lesson to me is to go to the top when you have an issue like this. He is even going to follow up with me. One star to 4

These guys were great with the install of our solar panels. At first, I was very skeptical of the soliciting phone calls about solar panels, but decided to arrange for one of their sales people to come out. The sales person was knowledgeable, friendly, and non-intrusive in his inspection of our house. He left with a signed order for 6 panels to be installed. After signing the work order I started having buyer’s remorse right away. I felt like I was paying too much money and wasn’t ready for the commitment, so I called and cancelled the order. Next thing you know, the VP of the company called me directly and asked to see me. I felt really uncomfortable at first because I knew that this would turn into a strong arm sales technique that I would regret, but allowed him to come by my house and meet with me anyway. He was super friendly and was really accepting of my skepticism and pricing about the whole sales that I just signed and was willing to tear up the contract with no penalties. But he reassured me that the amount of money that I would be paying for the financing of the panels will be offset by my not having to pay that money to SDGE, which is completely true. With that in mind he did make one last ditch effort to sell me four panels and the net-metering system for my solar panels. So, I agreed, because I knew that the deal was too good to pass up and all the financing options was right. So, with all sales finalized their contractors came out and assessed my roof and worked on getting the permits, keeping me in the loop the whole time, without requiring any actions or time from me. They came out, installed the panels in less than four hours and was gone. The longest time was waiting for SDG&E to accept the panels and allow the net-metering system to integrate with the grid. I haven’t had to pay my bills since January of this year, and will have to wait to year’s end to see how much my bill is since we still use gas from SDGE. I couldn’t be happier with my panels and I’m so glad that the VP took the time to come to my house and talked me out of not getting the panels. And he also gave me assurance that if I decided to get anything else done through them,(i.e. windows, roofing, paint, etc.) I would receive a good discount for already being a member of their valued customer. I’m stoked that I got the solar panels and glad I got it through QHR. Oh, I forgot to mention that they used only American Made solar panels with the highest quality materials, and the net-metering system is a top of the line German engineered system. Can’t go wrong with American made and German engineering! I will most likely use them for windows and external paint on my house next. Thanks QHR!!!

I would place zero stars if possible. Our system has not worked for six months and they have ignored every single phone call. I will sue if that is what it takes to get their attention. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with their terrible customer service and incompetence. It is also ridiculous that it only worked for six months before breaking.
