Pure Skin

Sue is quite simply the best of the best! You can’t go wrong for eyebrows, waxing or facials, I have been going to Pure Skin regularly for a few years now. Sue listens to your needs/​requests and consistently delivers excellent results. I don’t write many reviews as I am particular about customer service, but I highly recommend Pure Skin without reservation.

I was looking for a new SKIN professional for my regular waxing and facials. I met Sue with our babies at Pioneer Park 6 yrs ago. I made an apt. with her, thus making an amazing new friendship AND making a SMART choice for my face! Every time Sue waxes me I rarely break out. Her office is clean and inviting and SUPER easy to get to. There is a parking lot at the door to her office.
I’m so glad I made this professional and friendship relationship. She is funny and chill, and KNOWS what she is doing. I love the FRENCH wax she uses, and I’ve begun buying the products she chooses, as they work the best… especially the Sunscreen here in sunny San Diego. I find her pricing moderate — she’s not the cheapest or the most expensive. Her skills are worth it, and just her eyebrow waxing makes me look like I had a facelift. She is the BEST. Have not had better and I’m 20yrs of experience.

I’ve been seeing Sue for my waxing for 10 years now and she is AMAZING. At this point, I wouldn’t even consider going to anyone else unless I absolutely had to. Reasonable prices, very professional, friendly, with an awesome sense of humor. She always makes you feel comfortable and at ease, which is a major plus. No joke, sue is one in a trillion when it comes to eyebrows. She literally custom designs your eyebrows to the proper shape, length, and thickness that best compliments your face. Oh and ps. she’s priced great too!
On top of being the eyebrow master, she gives the greatest, again, CUSTOM facials based on what she thinks your skin needs.
She’s one of the few aestheticians left that actually care.
I recently moved to LA and make it a point to see sue everytime I’m in San Diego. No one anywhere else can compare!

Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! I have been going to Sue now for over a year for my facials and she is the best aesthetician. You can tell after the first few minutes of talking to her that she loves her career and her clients. I have had quite a few facials in my time, from the most high-​in resorts to simple day spas and Sue definitely stands out from the rest!

Susan is amazing. I have been going there for 3 years now and she is still as wonderful as ever! She is so nice and talks to you the whole time, making you feel really comfortable, even despite the fact that you’re getting a brazilian. She is very thorough and is really great at what she does. I’ve tried other places in the past such as Brazilia, but nothing really compares. Trust me, if you go to her, you won’t want to go to anyone else!

Sue is the BEST esthetician I’ve ever had! I was so sad when I had to leave San Diego because I knew I would never be able to find someone like her again. She LOVES her job and LOVES her clients. She does a fantastic job on every service she offers. And to top it off, she’s a wonderful person too.

Can’t believe no one’s written a review yet – it actually prompted me to finally join. Sue (it’s a one woman shop) is the best waxer I know. I’m going in for my first facial today so I’ll let you know how it goes.
