I did an online order and had it shipped to this store this week. I ordered it on sunday and it was to the store by Wednesday! The store called me right away and I was able to pick it up right away! The staff was very friendly and got my purchase out to my car right away. The cabinet is perfect and I am very happy! Just ordered new sheets! Can’t wait to get them!

Eddie was so helpful on this pouring down rainy day. He put the chairs in the car — it was pouring — and he got my order collected in quick time. They were busy re-arranging the store, but he took the time to make it a fast pick-up. I appreciate it!

This is one of the friendliest stores we’ve visited in Southern California. The workers let me stash the stuff at the counter so I wouldn’t have to shlepp it around the store while we looked for more stuff, and then when we were paying, the clerk even ran a coupon for us we had no idea existed. Pretty sweet! Compared to other branches, this is not the biggest store nor does it have the best selection. For example, it can be frustrating when curtains are sold one side in each package, and the store has only one package of the style you want. Crikey! Otherwise, not a bad shop at all and very friendly when it comes to taking questions and dealing with returns.

They used to have better selection and it seems to me that whoever is ordering for them has lack the sense of style. Used to like this place so much and now it’s like another Bombay of some sorts. Just a bunch of mediocre furniture at high cost. Craftsmanship has declined throughout the years. I now shop at crate and barrel because everything is way better for the same price. It’s still fun to window shop soi stop by every now and than.

Go to the one in mission valley. This was an awful experience. I drove all the way here from mission valley store to see if they had an item in better condition, they had two. Something wrong with each. One item had paper coming off so the clerk takes a pen they use on furniture to cover marks, on this item. Omg. It wasn’t close to the Same color and just put a tacky brown dot on it. Her and the other clerk were really nice. Its when the manager came up and asked me what I saw wrong with the items and that she thought it wasn’t noticeable. One item was clearly broken she told né there wasn’t anything she could do to fix it, I’d have to fix it myself. Offering no discount. She was so incredibly rude I wish I knew her name. The only reason I am giving two stars and not one is bc the other clerk was sweet and the store had more in stock. Not nearly as clean as mission valley but probably not as busy so your chances of finding something here are maybe a little better. Just know the service sucks and don’t let them try to fix anything you want, just order online. That way it comes packaged and not messed up in anyway.

I can NEVER find things in my style in this store. No joke. I am starting to think it is not just pier one, but that it is me. Despite that, the people in here are really friendly… I”ve been in twice(both with the pup) and the staff remembered him from the time before! That is great customer service!

Pier 1 is the perfect place for outdoor furniture and indoor accents. Stopped in here over the weekend to pick up some outdoor lighting for the deck area. Lots to choose from, but decided on 4 red candle-lit stars that looked pretty awesome glowing at night. Their stuff tends to be a bit overpriced. I’m almost certain World Market(Cost Plus) carries a lot of the same decorations. The space itself is a tad small which makes it difficult to navigate through the aisles. Watch your elbows!

I had a printable coupon for $ 10 off of $ 10 for Pier 1, so I decided to go in and see what I could find. I ended up with two mugs($ 6.00, $ 3.48) and some paper soap($ 1) for the tune of $.52. Upon getting home, I immediately signed up for their emails, and am now waiting to see what kind of coupon that comes next.

I liked this location BECAUSE it was a little smaller and cozier. I could go through the whole stock without being bombarded by other shoppers or too much stuff, which is the case at most larger Pier One stores. The staff was super-duper helpful and we got discounts for buying items that were both clearance and floor models(my usual shopping method). They wrapped everything and even took it out to my car. I got a gorgeous lamp for 15 bucks that was originally priced around $ 80. No, Pier One’s not a discount store per se, but when things are on sale or on the floor, you can have a field day at a very good price. It’s the kind of place that’s good to visit whenever you’re in the Sports Arena area doing other shopping.

Still on the look for a desk, no luck for me. I thought Pier 1 Imports here at Sports Arena will have one. I checked two desks; one not sturdy not good, can’t buy that one, armoire desk — too small if I buy it, monitor will be vertical even worst. The store is small and tight space. I keep knocking down a plastic plant. Thank goodness it wasn’t breakable. Store is pricey, clearance items way overpriced as well. Don’t you want to sell them fast? Put 75% off maybe I’ll comeback! Staff is okay.
