Amazing Phở. Friendly and efficient staff. Boom. Phở real tho give them a try! Also, they are cool with my complicated orders!(I am a cilantro hater… they don’t judge like some other phở places!)

If you are looking for last minute only option then this is your place. Food quality is mediocre and service was ok. Guy at the door does not smile or greet you or even look at you in the eyes. I ordered the Panko chicken and I was not asked what level of spicy was my wish, I was just given what they wanted me to have. The spring rolls were ok rice paper was very hard and nothing inside is tasty at all. Over all def not coming back. Hope this helps.

Once again… not an expert on Vietnamese food but I know good quality and a good price. Traditional Phở with white meat chicken and BBQ Pork Banh Mi sandwich is my go to.

This rainy weather had me seriously craving some phở, so I figured I’d give Phở Express a shot since it was so close. I walked in, ordered the rare steak with meat on the side and figured I’d have to wait a little while. Nope. They had my food ready to go in no time at all. When I got home, I was happy to see that they included all the toppings and sauces for me to doctor it up my way. Not to mention they remembered to put my steak on the side, bonus points in my book. Was this the best phở I’ve ever had? No, but it definitely hit the spot and was ready in no time flat. I’ll be back for more when I want good phở and I’m short on time.

Wife and I have been here ~5 times, always for takeout. Every time I call, it’s always a 10 minute or less wait. Can’t complain about that. Food ordered: Chicken + Eggroll Bun, Small chicken phở. Bill is ~$ 20 including tip. Price is better than the Phở place across the street and I’m happy with the amount of food and the taste. Our go to in the area for Vietnamese and for when the wifey needs soup to warm her throat or help her sickyness. Also of note is usually when I have come in one of the cashiers(?) is usually on the computer playing Hearthstone. I don’t mind as he gets my food packed and the bill to me quickly, but it’s interesting. I can see how customers might take it the wrong way but as long as it doesn’t affect the service or the food, I couldn’t complain. Price and service could be slightly better but overall will keep coming back.

Solid phở spot. Came in for a hot bowl of soup on a cold wet day. Phở was good, egg rolls were good, and Vietnamese coffee was good. Cheap, fast, fulfilling, no complaints.

First of all their food is impeccable. I can make the best mixture of Phó here and their Vietnamese rolls and Vietnamese coffee is fanfuggtastic! Unfortunately, I had a really inconsiderate situation happen to me this morning while I went to the table I wanted to sit in. The man working said they save that area for large party’s, and I couldn’t sit there. I mentioned that the restaurant was nearly empty with only 2 other customers inside. I said I would not have a problem to move if a large party came in. The booth is much more comfortable. I recently was in a car accident and have trouble with wooden chairs. The man just walked away and said«Well, that’s the rules». In order to be a great 5 star business — you have to be great from all angles. Food + Customer Service. Someone get that guy a Xanax Latte to go!

Went in on my lunch break to try their phở and viet ice coffee. 3 – 5 min later, man from the kitchen comes out and hand delivers it to me personally. After I had taken it back to my workplace, I opened to see the contents and it had everything a phở soup would include! I was definitely impressed by how quick they were and how delicious everything tasted, the iced coffee was on point as well. 10 in my book!

Have been going to this place since it had opened. Really good phở and Vietnamese coffee, freshly brewed. Their chicken curry is amazing and their warm baguettes are delicious. One if the best parts is the salt and pepper calamari. Very crispy and delicious sauce. What makes this place special are the employees. David is an awesome guy and a gamer. Also, not sure what his name is, but we call him«Pu» and always talks about his travel. Both nice guys. I will always come to this place. Keep up the great work.

Came here for a lunch date. We got seated right away, drinks where served really quick. And took our order and our food was made really fast, hence the name Phở Xpress. Everything very fast pace. We order BBQ pork fried rice($ 9) It was delicious, there was a lot of thin slices of BBQ pork. Can’t go wrong with this. Also we order the crispy noodles with shrimp($ 9). It came with bak choy, squash, broccoli, carrots and shrimp. The gravy was thick and flavorful. I wish they gave us a bit more gravy because it was just in the middle and I like eating the crispy part of the noodles with the gravy. I’m a little disappointed on the proportion wise. For the price we paid for I feel like we can get get way more somewhere else. Service is really quick and friendly. Would I come back here? Hmmm, it depends. I’ll probably come back here when I’m lazy to drive to somewhere else Warning parking can be difficult especially during peak hours since the place is right next to a hospital.

I had tofu fried rice and vegetarian spring rolls. Both were fantastic! My only complaints: The food was pricey, especially as the portions were really small. Service was a little slow as well.

I love this place. It’s my go to. Everyone remembers my name and what I like to order. The phở broth has one of the best stand alone flavors I’ve found in SD. The spring rolls are amazing and and the Thai ice tea is one of the best parts of my day.

A nice quiet little spot for phở(soup). They have Thai tea, fried rice, spring rolls, and such. Always fast friendly and easy to order. I know this review is shorter than usual, so let me just finish by telling you they get my recommendation for you to come and give it a try.

Still up there as one of our favorite phở places. Their veggie/tofu phở(#26) can’t be beat. And their service is on point — shoutout to David! Love this hidden gem for delicious food, teaching the boyfriend the proper way to prepare a Vietnamese coffee, and for being overall so darn great.

After almost finishing my phở, I came across this white piece of object in my food. Touched it, smelt it, and it smelt like mint. I smushed it together and it was gum. I told the worker that there was gum in my food and he said there was no way that it could have been the cooks. Clearly, it had to be one of the workers there cuz it wasn’t me. I guess they have a rule in the back that theres no gum aloud but they arent too strict on that if I found gum in my phở!!! The guy gave me my meal for free. Previous times that I have been here the service was great and so was the food. Even though I did find gum in my phở, I would go back to this place.

Phó Express — The name explains it all, I’ve coming here for the past couple of years and it’s never a disappointment. My go to is the #20(well done steak) with the half order of fried shrimp egg roles #winning. The phó broth has a unique taste, it’s light yet fulfilling every time. Owners do a wonderful job providing great customer service and food is brought out in a very tightly manner. For ones who want to try phó for the first time, I most definitely recommend this restaurant.

I stopped in this place for one of my favorite Vietnamese meals Bún. This time I had it with grilled BBQ pork and a couple of egg rolls served with a side of fish sauce. The Bún came with a generous amount of grilled pork which was well cooked, tender and seasoned. I liked the garnish of sesame seeds and scallions( ). The pork tasted great and had a mild smokiness about it.( ) The egg rolls were crispy and tasty, and came with a good amount of ground pork and vegetables in them. I loved that they give you two of them. The vermicelli was well cooked and after sprinkling some beloved soy sauce, they were just perfect. All the veggies and herbs were fresh and crisp, and as usual, eating with the crushed peanuts was great. Service was a little reserved with little conversation. I tried to ask a few questions regarding the menu and food preparation, but with limited responses. They were nice people and the place was well kept and clean.

Phở xpress is one of those places I appreciate because my time is so precious when I’m trying to grab a bite mon-fri around noon during my busy work week. Best phở and sandwiches? No, but they are still good! Fast and friendly service that add to a great lunch experience when you are on a time crunch like me. Clean facility, friendly staff and the food is good. Better then most in the area! Trust me when I say this. I’ve been eating in the area for the last 10 years… you can’t go wrong.
