Nooooo. Don’t learn the hard way. I just came here for a hair cut because the reviews seemed reasonable. No appointment needed. I paid $ 15 for the lady to Chop off my hair. The cut is horrible. Really awful. No shampoo, no blow dry, no apparent skill. I am sooo bummed. I’m going to pop some hair growth pills and cry myself to sleep.

May, from Perfect Cuts moved to Kelly’s Beauty Salon @2855 university ave. She’s amazing so i support her at her new location! Can’t find business like hers. She’s thorough and perfects each cut. I will definitely continue seeing her!

I love this place! Both times I’ve been in, Mae has done an excellent job. She’s quick and friendly and very good at what she does! I only go in for a trim and maybe some layers and bangs and each time I leave happy! For the quality and the price, Perfect Cut is the place to go!

$ 11 haircut on a Saturday afternoon. Can’t beat that. Mae did a really good job of cutting my hair how I wanted it. The wait was only about 5 minutes and did I mention it was only $ 11!

I’ve been coming here for about a year now. It’s hard to find someone who can cut Asian hair. Mae does a good job if you just let her know how you want it. She will make corrections if she’s not used to cutting your hair initially. She’s also very nice and for $ 10, you can’t go wrong. I’ve tried out a bunch of the ones around 30th/Univ and she’s the best in that local area. She’s very nice and I highly recommend her.

This is the place for you if you like no fuss haircuts. Not a salon experience but just a great haircut and other services available. I have thick coarse Asian hair, so it’s a bit hard for me to try out the cheaper hair cut places on Adams Ave and in North Park. I overheard someone talk that she takes the time to do a thorough job and she charges $ 10. I saw one review on Unilocal and decided to at least try her. Note: For women’s hair, it’ll be more like $ 15, could be more. If your cut is just a basic straight trim, it’ll probably be $ 10. This is just a cut, no shampoo or style. She does have pricing if you want more full service. Oh also note: cash only, no personal checks either. The owner woman is Mae, and she’s not talkative at all. So if you like to chat and gossip with your stylist, this is not the place for you. She quiet and thorough. My hair requires a lot of layering and she seemed to not mind doing several passes. I lost my last Asian stylist(on 30th, Hair and Skin Care) as she sold her salon a few mos. ago, but Mae is a better hair cutter. She also seems to do color, and perms so it’s not just hair cuts. An African Ame. woman who was waiting was talking to another first time walk in. She’s been coming here 10+ years and just went on how fantastic Mae is, she can do all types of hair. Usually African Ame. women I didn’t think trusted non African Ame. stylists, so that says something.

I needed a hair cut really bad. I didn’t want to drive to my usual barber and perfect cut is very near to my place. Charge $ 9.00 to cut my hair, it’s two more dollars than what I usually pay. All I care about is my hair cut being right. I did my usual cut #4 of the sides and a half and inch cut off the top. I think they might have cut a little more than I wanted but that always happens. They did do a really good job and most likely will cut my hair here again.
