Peets coffee and capuccino’s are THEBEST ever. Very close to getting it in Italy! Top quality coffee and baked goods. Thank you so much Peets!

My favorite neighborhood coffee shop to get my caffeine fix. I love their white mocha with whip and the new Havana Cappuccino. Excellent customer service!

Love love love this Peets! The staff members at this particular location are superb! So many options on the drink list & their pastries always hit the spot! My go to drink is their iced soy matcha latte with vanilla, it’s a must try! It’s the perfect spot for casual coffee catch ups with your girlfriends.

Very friendly staff! Love getting the Peppermint Mocha(during the winter season!) and the Mayan Hot Chocolate! Easy parking and they get you in and out pretty fast.

Quaint little coffee shop. Coffee was good, service was good, people were friendly and laid back and there was indoor and outdoor seating.

Since I’ve been a regular here for what feels like a lifetime, I figured it was long overdue for me to write a Unilocal review. If you’re looking to try a new drink, go for the iced matcha latte. I’m not going to explain what it is(mostly because I’m not really sure what it is), but it’s absolutely delicious and it has me hooked. For those of you with more of a sweet tooth, you can add peppermint or vanilla, but it tastes good on its own too. They have all the ‘usual’ coffee and tea drinks, plus seasonal drinks as well. The service here is absolutely fantastic. Honestly, it’s the nicest group of people. If you want proof just look at the insane amount of regulars they have, I’ve actually made friends with other regulars just because we all come here so often. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the location is great– right off the 56. Plenty of parking. In case you can’t tell, I love this place, and can’t say enough good things about it!

This is really nice coffee shop, with stupendous food and drinks, if you want to do work, or just stop by for a coffee this is the place. My friends and I came here to do some work for school and grabbed a coffee and a little breakfast. I got an iced coffee and it was really good. I also got a pretzel croissant, which was out of this world delicious. They had free wifi, and you didn’t even have to ask for a code. The employees were very respectful and the place was very clean. I would definitely come here again!

Love this local option of coffee instead of Starbucks. Wifi and friendly staff. The coffee is delicious and I always like to get something else there like a cup or something they have for sale at the register. Local feel and folk and my go to coffee place in SD.

I have recently been going to Peets and ordering a maple latte. The first time I came, I told the lady behind the counter that I had a heart condition and she catered the drink around what would be suitable for me. Ever since, when I walk into the store, they know me by name and know exactly my order and get it right every time. I’m not usually a big coffee drinker but this store and the amazing employees has turned me into one. Love this store and will continue coming here every morning.

Not all Peet’s are created equal! I stopped going to Peet’s because of several bad experiences at the one off La Jolla Village Dr. Today, my niece wanted to stop at this Peet’s on our way home from school, and wow! Huge difference. Excellent customer service, competent staff, clean, friendly, inviting store. We’ll be back.

All I can say is? The asian(filipino?) guy at the cash register made this regular coffee trip into a 6 star experience. Coffee is coffee and I dont find peets quality of baked goods and coffee any better than starbucks or panera, but the customer service here was amazing. Ive been to this location lots of times and while the service was always great I wasnt blown away by it or felt that anyone went above and beyond to be helpful. Dont know what his name is, but hes a young guy and was working an afternoon shift on friday. He greeted each guest with a smile, and even though I was super picky and wishy washy about my order he was friendly, outgoing and efficient and went above my expectations to help me out. This place is right next to Westview highschool and off the free way exit so its convenient. Its usually not packed and thered always a couple students studying around or people in buisiness outfits sipping on coffee on their lunch break. Personally, I choose peets over starbucks because peets employees are personable and they really seem to care about each order. Bottom line: Customer service was amazing and Parking is plentiful and there is almost never a wait. Coffee is really good too! I like how they have a cocoa powder at the self serve bar.

Its a small coffee shop off the road leading to Westview High and, well what do I need to say? The coffee is good, atmosphere is always quaint and quiet, and music is rad. The coffee is a little overpriced though like all other coffee joints and I would love if they had as much tea selection as they do coffee. It’s worth mentioning that the unspoken rule is that the people having conversations go outside so that the inside is quiet for the people working. Always appreciate it when this happens :) I frequently come here to grab a drink and sit down to work. I would love if it had more outlets though — they only really have two spots that have access to outlets. Other than that it’s a basic coffee shop and always a great place to meet up with friends or just chill. Typical PQ atmosphere. Would recommend. P. S. Try the chai javiva. It’s chai blended with coffee into a ice/slushi drink. A warning: It’s fairly sweet so those without a sweet tooth might want to ask for light sugar.

I stopped in Peet’s after lunch for an Americano, a mini currant scone, and to get some work done. The Americano was good, a little more bitter than I would of liked, but it was still drinkable and strong. The mini currant scone was very good. It came with a mild vanilla icing which formed a nice crust, and the inside was slightly dense, but moist and with a good amount of tasty currants. The scone was the perfect size for a snack and to eat with the Americano. I’m not sure why the Americano was a little bitter. It was the first time I experience this from a Peet’s chain. Anyways, service was good, but their WiFi was a little glitchy and slow. I would check in to that.

As I used to work at Peets, I definitely have a soft spot for it. I love the drinks and atmosphere here. My favorites include the iced vanilla matcha latte, the iced pumpkin latte, iced hazelnut latte, and iced americano(can you tell I prefer iced drinks?). They’ve also got a nice selection of pastries(although I try to resist buying any). Fast service, and rarely a line when I come in the mornings around 7:15. I imagine the line is much longer a little later, but it’s perfect for my morning. Weekends are definitely busy, and if you can find a table you’re lucky! The wi-fi here is faster than a lot of other coffee shops, so it’s a great spot to get some work done.

Friendly baristas, convenient location(right off the 56 freeway exit), plenty of parking and there is a small outdoor seating area. Unlike Starbucks, Peet’s has Unilocal check-in discount offers, which is always a plus! Free wi-fi.

I love coming to Peet’s. One material difference that I’ve noticed between Starbucks(across the street in Albertsons) and Peet’s is the quality of the coffee beans and espresso. I study for about 12 or more hours a day, which means I need efficiency, and I energy to be efficient. Peet’s espressos give me a high energy boost within minutes of drinking, and that energy high lasts throughout the day(at least 8 hours). On the other hand, Starbucks’ choices might be a bit more tastier, but the quality of their coffee beans/espresso in terms of its lasting effect does not match what Peet’s offers. Also, Peet’s small espressos include a double shot, while Starbucks does not. For this reason, I regularly choose Peet’s(and for reasons included in my earlier review). As always, the staff are AMAZING.

Very nice workers all around, but this place doesn’t do it for me. I ordered the chocolate & caramel freddo(equivalent to a frap or ice-blended drink) and it was way too sweet and lacking any delicious flavor. My wife ordered a vanilla macha green tea and this too didn’t have a tasty flavor to it. It was an iced drink, but it was too warm for my taste buds. I don’t know if i’ll be back.
