Peach

I love these guys. I’ve been using Peach for about 5 months now. I receive a text every morning and simply reply «yes» if I’m working out of the office that day and choose to eat their food.
The food is pretty good from different local places; they serve everything from Indian, Mexican, Greek, Chinese, etc…
My only concern is the menu is pretty repetitive on a weekly basis. I would highly recommend if they have a contract with the repeat restaurants to at least change the dish every now and then… Because of this, I give them 4 stars.

Love Peach! Peach is a lifesaver. Mostly all healthy yummy lunches from all types of restaurants. Twice (out of too many orders to count) there were issues but they refunded the lunch and gave 50% off the next one.

Only recently heard about Peach while temping for a company in Sorrento Valley. What a great and awesome idea. Prices typically range between $ 8.50 to $ 10.99 per meal. Every morning I get a text based on my profile choice. I usually go to the website to see what the other options are though. Can order via text or via email.
I’ve ordered about 7 meals now and have been quite happy with them all until today. They come hot or cold whichever is the appropriate temp in insulated bags. The choices vary every week which is great ’cause who wants to go get the same sandwich or salad every day or drive for ½ hour to get to other choices? Not me.
Today’s meal from The WineSellar was the first disappointment but I do not fault Peach for this. It was very clearly advertised what the selections were and the restaurant did not provide all of those. The meat and veg option were both a type of ravioli. The ravioli for both options were cold and overcooked. It seemed as if they were cooked yesterday and then barely reheated. I ordered a second meal for dinner and was super excited about it: salmon and arugula salad. I love both of those things so when I opened the brown box and found bland, unseasoned chicken breast on romaine lettuce I was super disappointed.
I immediately text the number for Peach and received a response within minutes stating they were investigating what happened but were also unhappy by the restaurant’s bait and switch (my words not theirs). They issued an immediate refund and gave me a discount for my next meal. Now that is excellent customer service!

The concept and the food is good, but the service is completely unreliable. I’ve attempted to use peach about 8 times, and 3 of those times I didn’t actually get food.
In their defense, they’ve been willing to refund money and offer free lunches, but the unreliability completely defeats the convenience that this is supposed to provide.
Fool me three times? Not going to bother with this anymore. I’ll just make other plans.

I eat my main meal in the middle of the day and don’t have the time to cook and prepare lunches and dinners. So this is amazing for me to have high quality meals delivered with no stress. I’m loving the variety and as there are few lunch options in my area, this is a real plus. In 3 weeks I haven’t had a bad meal yet. Really enjoying the experience and it is bring the team together socially talking about the food and different choices.

My coworkers and I have been ordering lunch from Peach literally everyday for the past 2 weeks!
Super easy ordering experience and the best part is that I don’t have to worry about what I’m eating that day or if I’m going to make it back before my lunch break is over.
They even gave my whole office a full week of $ 5 lunches so that we could try it out!
They send me a text every morning and I just text back with the meal option I want and boom, it’s at my office at lunchtime.
So excited that they came to SD, we totally needed something like this!

Peach is an AWESOME new lunch delivery service that recently expanded to San Diego from Seattle. They partner with top local restaurants to deliver lunch to office professionals on a daily basis.
The coolest part? Ordering is done via SMS text. A daily dish is texted to your phone in the morning, and by simple responding «YES» your order is placed with the restaurant. Food is then delivered directly to your office between 12 — 12:30pm.
