I love this place! I work on the same block so I come here often. Hector and Martha the owners are always there working so very hard to make delicious food! I haven’t had anything I didn’t like! If you are in the area it is a must try!

A man walks into a Coffee shop. Oh wait, he thinks to himself as he takes in his surroundings, this place has food! He gets excited, as his hunger levels are brimming just below hangry, but excitement quickly transforms into anxiety as he realizes that this«Coffee shop» doesn’t just serve food, but it serves a bajillion different kinds of food. Does he want a sandwich? Does he want a chipotle salmon plate? How about a burger? Skip straight to dessert? Tacos? Gyros? Acai bowl??? Definitely not the acai bowl… Eventually he just closes his eyes and points towards the board. «Chilaquiles», we have a winner. He looks around after ordering, and is slightly upset at the lack of space for seating. BUTWAIT, there’s more! Upstairs there’s tons of seating. As his food arrives his eyes light up. As he takes the first bite they light up even more. As he takes the last bite he instantly passes out from food coma. He could die right then and there as a happy man. Eventually he snaps back to reality and thinks to himself, Delicious! Best coffee shop EVER! This place is now his guilty pleasure.

: UPDATE: I don’t know if it was this Unilocal review or if I just was catching the cashier on bad days when I had gone in but since I wrote this. The cashier that I mentioned below has been VERYVERY nice. She has been polite and sweet every time we have gone in there. —– I would give this place 5 starts but the woman that rings you up is consistently rude so I gave 4. FORTHEFOODTHOUGH… This place has amazing food. Their acai bowl is huge, fresh, and very tasty. My husband always gets the Santa Fe which is also huge and very fresh. It comes with avocado, the bread is always crisp, lettuce is always fresh, chicken always perfectly cooked and comes with a great chipotle sauce and a side of seasoned fries. We went today and I switched it up and got the oatmeal. I don’t know what they put in this oatmeal but it’s heaven on earth. I’m pretty sure it’s horrible for you because it’s consistency is that of a heavy whipping cream but I’m sure you can ask for non fat milk as well. It comes with sides of cranberries, walnuts, brown sugar, and cinnamon. I had about 10 bites and I can’t eat anymore. The bowl is very large for a very decent price. I’m sad this place isn’t open on the weekends but it’s worth taking the morning off work for it! Highly recommended.

So in the past I have ordered food I was not completely satisfied with and unfortunately wrote a review that I was not aware had such a negative impact. All because of a hunger tantrum, but this place is good. I haven’t ordered everything from the menu, but I recently had their chicken tortilla soup and it was so delicious. I recommend it and they are a very busy restaurant so give them time, and don’t throw a tantrum like I did, or you could miss out on some really good soup.

BEST Artichoke Omelet ever!!! I get it without the sides and I can stick to my low card diet! If you like feta, ask for extra.

If I lived in the area, this would be my go to breakfast place. The line here never seems to just be over. The food is good, with a good variety. We came here for traditional mexican breakfast, and thats exactly what we got. Hypes: — Traditional mexican breakfast. Simple flavors, simple ingredients — don’t expect fancy or high flavor — fast service — good coffee — fresh brewed — best(and biggest) acai bowl — fresh and tasty. Gripes: — not open on weekends. — not for everyones tastebuds

For starters, I love that this place is called«Old Gallery» and has some cheesy token art on the walls. Beyond that, the food is great. Love the variety. From traditional Mexican food to standard breakfast items, they know what they are doing. Friendly service tops it all off.

Legit Mexican food from an place that I originally thought only served coffee and pastries. Had the cali burrito and homemade horchata and both really top notch. I definitely need to come back to try their wide array of breakfast items.

Oh yes please! We stumbled upon this place by accident. We were riding our bikes to Donut Shop(which is next door), we got lucky enough to get a donut but not lucky enough to sit inside because we had my dog with me so we decided to buy something from here to be able to use their outside seating. I am so thankful for that, their menu is all over the place which allowed them to target both of our cravings. She got an Acai bowl and I got 1, 2, 4 mulitas! Oh my gosh was food delicious! I have dreams about the mulitas! They are so good! Great surprise by this place! Bravo!

I have been coming here for years. I live in the neighborhood and get an occasional latte and breakfast. The prices are very reasonable and they have a wide variety of breakfast and lunch options. My favorite is the huevos rancheros. It’s very good. I believe this is a family run business. I’ve always seen the same people working there for nearly ten years. They are very sweet. One day I made an order and realized I left my wallet in another purse. They still gave me my order with my word that I would come back to pay that day. Love this place.

I wish that I would have found this year’s ago. Small intimate, nice vibe. My breakfast was awesome and the Mocha was one of the best I’ve had

Old Gallery is a great deli and a good choice for a quick bite. Their seating is limited with 2(two person) bistro tables outside and a 100 square-foot loft dining area with seating for about 15. The loft can get hot in the summer so I recommend take out and eating at the park or in your office if it is close by. The owner/mangers are very nice and do their best to make each customer happy. The value and quality is superior to Subway and they have combos that are in the same price range. The menu is quite diverse with foods ranging from taco shop(burritos, enchiladas, tacos, etc), traditional breakfast(omelets, bagels, sandwiches), smoothies made with real fruit, burgers and classic deli sandwiches, salads, and wraps. So far, I have not been disappointed with anything I have ordered and I’ve eaten here many times.

My favorite spot to go to during the work week. Helps that it’s less than a block from my office. I go almost every day, get a Chocomilk smoothie and add peanut butter and a shot of espresso, a nd I’m always pleased with their service. Also love their veggies sandwich. The Mexican dishes are great as well. Get the breakfast burrito! Five stars!

I know I need to give it another shot but their breakfast sandwich was NASTY. They used Kraft American cheese. You people realize that’s not real cheese, right?! It ruined my whole sandwich. BUT my coconut latte was amazing. So I won’t write them off completely. Especially because they’re so affordable. :)

Food is okay but service sucks. The lady who took my order was so rude, and made me repeat my order 5X!(I speak very clear too so I don’t understand what her issue was. I just don’t think she was listening) After you order they turn the iPad to you and have you sign your bill. Before signing you have to choose a tip amount– i chose no tip bc the lady was rude. Anyway, my total was $ 15 and some change, after checking my statements I saw that she personally added a tip for herself(who does that?!). Rude AND a thief. Inside the tiny restaurant is like a miniature sauna, NO air condition so it’s hotter inside then it is outside but they have ghetto fans in some places blowing hot air around.

Popular breakfast and coffee shop right next to Donut Bar. We stopped by after being disappointed that Donut Bar didn’t have any crème brûlée for the day. Luckily, this was a great backup stop. Many workers drop by on the way to downtown and this place is efficient at serving coffee, hearty breakfasts, and baked goods. Our order: French Toast combo — a great French toast with strawberries, scrambled egg, and solid bacon. For such a casual place, this was surprisingly good. Breakfast burrito — a generous serving a scrambled eggs, sausage, and cheese wrapped in a warm tortilla. Only $ 3.50 and way better than anything Micky D sells. Glad they also had squeezed orange juice and whole milk to round out our bfast. Old Gallery Coffee House accepts credit cards including American Express.
