This place is disgusting! I am from the tri state area– this place is nothing like a NYC pie should be. Save your money and go some where else

I live in the Lake Murray area and I am SO glad that I have a new and better option for who I can get pizza delivery from. I am also excited that they have a ton of other great foods besides pizza to choose from. The new owner of this place is really nice. He made my whole family feel welcome and I could truly tell he appreciated our business. That goes a long way in my book. The prices are great and the food is hot and fresh. The service was fast and excellent. Guy went above and beyond to make sure that we enjoyed our visit. We will be back again and again!

Not bad pizza. However, I have yet to find a place in San Diego that has true NY pizza. I normally call in my orders for pick up. The place is small but very clean. The guys working there are quite friendly. I mostly order the antipasto salad. It is good with generous portions of cold cuts.

Okay– I got delivery here. Yet again… this is not true NY/NJ pizza… How sad. I’m from New Jersey– and have had lots of New York pizza in my life… this doesn’t even come close. I personally think the Domino’s white pizza is better than this one. Don’t waste the money…

First of all I grew up and lived 30 yrs in NY and NY pizza is not known for being giant. Much thinner and larger than the chain pizza places but it is not giant. So many places out west make this claim and it is just wrong. Second this pizza is awful. The sauce, the cheese the meatball toppings– everything. The drink selection is very limited with no fountain drinks available only cans. Their sit down area was a mess. The guys that worked there seemed nice enough but this is poor even for college food. The location left a lot to be desired and we definitely did not enjoy inhaling the store’s neighbors cigarette smoke.

I just went in to N.Y. Giant pizza for the first time tonight during my break from work down the street. This new, mediocre pizza joint just replaced an old, mediocre taco shop on the Boulevard. Although I wasn’t particularly impressed by my aptly giant piece of pepperoni pizza, which ran me $ 3.22 after tax(It’s $ 2.50 a slice plus 50 cents per extra topping), I wasn’t disappointed. I’d say the quality is exactly what you can expect for the price from a pizza place in an El Cajon Blvd strip mall. Some upsides to the place include free delivery with a $ 10 minimum purchase(a plus for broke SDSU kids with the munchies) and a congenial owner named Rimo, who seems like a great guy genuinely excited to have moved into the neighborhood. Rimo(I hope I’ve spelled his name correctly) has other successful N.Y. Giant locations in Mira Mesa, Rancho Penasquitos, Mission Hills, and on Morena, so he is obviously doing something right. I’m frequently on this stretch of the Boulevard and live in the area, so I can foresee many more visits to N.Y. Giant when I’m on a budget and looking for a quick meal. I would say that if you’re in the neighborhood, give them a shot, but like many of these hole-in-the-wall places, it’s nothing worth going out of your way for.
