The courts were bumpin at 12:30 pm on a Saturday. Luckily we found an empty court. The court could use some resurfacing, but it’s got a net, trash cans, and some benches so I can’t complain too much.

Great court, plenty of shady areas and there is 1 court behind the building that is completely covered but its usually taken or the class uses it so get here early!

Awesome courts. Free, most importantly, but it can get quite busy, so plan accordingly.

New to the Mira Mesa area, so happy to have found these courts! They are well maintained with great lighting and lots of parking … ANDFREE! Lots of serious tennis players on the courts, which was awesome. The Santana High School tennis courts we used to play on you might be sharing the court with kids playing football and soccer. So, so happy with this spot. I can imagine it getting crowded in the warmer months. Closest parking is right off Gold Coast Dr & Black Mountain, across the Gold Coast apartments(follow sign towards Hourglass Park).

Why is it so difficult to find a public court that has lights in San Diego? Well, these courts fill that void. Only problem is that too many people know about it, so courts are hard to come by during the evening hours. Get here early, or prepare to be a court vulture! Tip: Avoid Wednesdays and Thursdays, when a class takes up at least 4 of the courts.

great place to hit if you live in the penasquitos/scripps/mira mesa area. there are 8 lighted courts and parking is free! it can get crowded on the weekend and after work, so come early! not sure what the protocol is for waiting but the signs indicate 45 mins or 1 set.

This place is awesome too! Lots of Courts! It’s pretty busy here though so sometimes you have to wait for a court… Somedays are reserved for the tennis classes that take place… weekend are packed too… but it’s fun… There one wall to hit if you’re solo… The people are nice and if you do come solo… sometimes if you just ask people will just hit with you too the courts are divided into 2 courts and i think there is 6 or 8 i can’t remember… courts are facing east and west… the temperature is pretty hot in mira mesa so bring sunblock! I think there are lights… I haven’t played at night yet so i’m not sure… Happy playing tennis hopes that helps!
