Not members, but do swimming lessons for our kids. Very professional and kid friendly. I recommend it.

I went back to swimming after a long hiatus and took lessons from Caitlyn(You’re the best!) and she provided me with much insight and tailored the lessons for me and another student. The pool is great and there isn’t much of a crowd. The teacher to student ratio is so good it almost seems like I’m getting private lessons. Its the best place for adults to learn\re-learn swimming.

This is the sister location of the Scripps Ranch Swim and Racquet clubs. A private, member based recreational center. What’s wonderful about this location, it tends to be quiter than the other(Aviary) location. It’s closer to the neighbors living on the north side of Scripps Ranch next to Jerebek Park across the street from the small market place on Scripps Trails Drive. This location has clean, well lit tennis courts. To make a reservation you have to call the Aviary office. There are also racquet ball courts… from what I’ve seen there have been blood, sweat and tears shed in those courts. Those players take it seriously! There’s also a mini put course… it has 18 holes. Clubs are provided, but you have to bring your own balls or buy for $ 2 a pop… Let’s face it, everyone thinks their balls are better anyways. The main attraction to this club are the pools. There’s an adult jacuzzi set around 104 °F. A childrens jacuzzi set at 99 °F. A wader, a small circular pool only 1.5ft deep at around 82 °F but jumps up to 88 °F during the summer! There’s also a lesson pool, about a fourth of the size of the lap pool. This pool gets to 4.5ft deep and kept around 85 °F. The lap pool itself is kept at 82 °F, with six 25yrd lanes. Rarely you will be asked to share, unless you come during Quantum Flash Swim practice, every week day around 4:30, depends on the time of the year. Between the bathrooms there’s a dry sauna too! This location is wonderful for parties since it has two propane bbq’s, a patio, and small grassy area along with all the other amenities to entertain guests and children. Members are more than welcome to set up jumpies for kids or catering for guests. Across the street is Pazzos Pizza for local family pie and Chili Peppers for a slightly healthier version of Mexican food. Of the two clubs, this one is my favorite being a clean facility with friendly staff and plenty of activies for small and bug kids alike.
