I have been a client of BRANDY for many years now. When you find the right person to take care of you beauty needs you stick with her. Brandy is down to earth, professional and amazing at all she does. I love the honestly she gives me when I come and and ask her to do my hair like this picture. She will straight out tell me «that will not look good with the shape of your face.» And of course she is always right. If you insist on the cut she will do it because she cares about her clients and makes them happy.
I hired Brandy to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. I was going for the pinup girl look. I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful I looked.
If you are looking for a down to earth professional hair dresser or makeup artist I suggest you call the salon and make an appointment with Brandy. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

First time in this salon. Kirsten did a beautiful job coloring my hair and then she gave me a fabulous cut. I thoroughly enjoyed this salon and I look forward to Kristin cutting and coloring my hair from now on.

The only place I will go! Robert is amazing, thanks to him I never have a bad hair day. The business is so professional, clean, and all around friendly people. If you’re not spending your money here, you’re waiting it.

I’ve been searching for the stylist who listens to my needs since I moved to San Diego. Finally found her at Meridian. Kirstin is amazing and will do exactly what you want. Just got the Keratin treatment and my hair looks and feels wonderful! She’s great with color, highlights and cut and is very personable. Go there, you won’t be disappointed!

This review is long overdue. I have been seeing Brad for my Brazilian blowouts for over a year now and he is wonderful! Even though I have moved to San Francisco I still see him when it is time for a root touch up because I don’t trust anyone else. I don’t know what he does but my Brazilians last wayyyy longer than they ever have before and my hair always feels soft and healthy for months on end. Everyone else at the salon is super sweet too and I always leave happy.

This was my fifth time at the salon and I’ve always gone with Kirstin. She is extremely polite and her service is amazing. Everyone here makes you feel more than welcome. It’s always a refreshing end to my day when I come through.

I love love love this salon! The service was above and beyond, great coffee, comfortable chairs, and a clean friendly environment. I was in a huge rush and Kirstin (she is a cute bubbly and friendly blonde girl) took more than enough care of me and got me out on time. I asked her to give me a blow out and some curls and she gave me the best blow out of my life. On another note, I think I am going to go back just for her head massage and shampoo. I have never had a massage quite like it… I almost cried when we had to move on.
I definitely recommend the salon and Kirstin. She was so cool and sweet; we even exchanged numbers and plan on hanging out very soon. Go see her!

Moved downtown a year ago and Finally found a great hair salon!!! Love Brad and he does great cuts and color. Nice classy atmosphere and great convenient location!

I have been seeing Brandy for haircuts and color for about a year. I love working with people that are doing work they love and Brandy loves hair. When she works on me her primary relationship is with my hair… almost like they are in dialogue.
Of course she listens to me and what I want!
I have never been happier! And regarding color… It is seamless. Impossible to tell my natural color from the highlights that she has added.

I have been going to this salon for over year now. Brad does a great job with my highlights, cuts, and brazilian keratin treatment. I am not the easiest client. I have always loved to play around with my haircolor and change it up. However, no matter what color, blonde, brown, or red, Brad has always done an amazing job. And all the staff are always extremely friendly and accomadating.

Do not go here! Worst haircut ever! This place is no professional!

I waited a little too long to review Meridian. I saw Brad for a cut and color back in September and I absolutely loved both. Around early December, I stopped in another salon to get a «quick trim» and walked out with butchered hair. I’ve been wearing my hair up in messy bun ever since. I finally decided it was worth it to lose my length to fix the mess and called to make an appointment with Brad. The receptionist, who I think is also the owner, was so polite and accommodating. Even when I called back to reschedule. They were able to fit me in with no problems and Brad was ready to start when I walked in. We talked about the length I was comfortable with an what it would take to fix the layers. I also had him color it from my (box) red to a warm deep brown. I AM SO HAPPY with both! He preserved so much of my length and really cleaned up the hack job done before. Whether I blow out my hair, straighten it, or let it dry wavy, it looks GREAT. The price is absolutely reasonable for the quality and customer service at Meridian. I’ll never go another place in San Diego again.
Just a side note: the stylists at Meridian are all very experienced and have been there for years. They seem like such a family with each other. It happened to be someone on staff’s birthday on my visit and they were enjoying cake and ice cream and offered me some as well! If you’re looking for a warm experience with stylists that won’t be gone the next time you walk in, Meridian is your place.

I’m always apprehensive about trying out a new salon but someone (with great hair) had recommended me to try this salon so I went for it. I have a shade of blonde (platinum) that is hard to keep up with since I naturally have medium/​dark brown hair and used to have a lot of orange-​y undertone from dying the underside of my hair brown a year prior… until I went to Bridget!
Bridget has toned, colored, highlighted, and cut my hair. Only took two tonings for her to get my orange out without turning my hair gray or purple, bleaches my head without burning my scalp (ouch), and turns my thick hair into a sleek A-​line bob that is easy for me to style at home.
I have been going for a handful of times now and I am more pleased every time I go! It is a busy salon but they make time for walk ins and the environment is relaxed yet chic.

This now is my go to place for an excellent hair cut or hair style however you want to call it. I’ve gone to Robert who now runs the place, he is like the big Kahuna and make sure that all of the people that work their are not only competent but are excellent. Robert has worked in some of the most upscale salons in New York, Florida, and Arizona he is incredible. But of course your wallet is going to pay the price. Don’t get me wrong he is worth it, but I’m always looking for value. Noticed I said value not cheap.
So I want to get the maximum affect for what my hard earned dollars can buy. I told Robert my situation and what I wanted and he recommended to me and my wife see Brandy. Wow! Am I glad he did! Brandy is wonderful, straight forward, gives an excellent Hair Cut, she only charged me thirty dollars for a haircut. I was so happy with what she did I tipped her ten dollars, and I never tip. My wife’s hair looks great, my hair looks great.
Sorry Robert I can’t be faithful to you any longer, I’ve found a new love and her name is Brandy! She’s a fine girl, what a good wife she would be.. .
In all seriousness Brandy delivers on all accounts, and she certainly provides value with her low prices and excellent hair cuts in these tough economic times.

My favorite hair stylist in San Diego! I love Andrea. I go for highlights, cut, and color every 2 – 3 months and she is my gal. She does a beautiful job with the highlights, which include lowlights, subtle highlights about two shades lighter than my real hair color, plus a glaze/​gloss after rinsing out the highlights. I’ve been complimented several times and have had people ask where I get my hair done. I recommend Andrea to all of them!
