Came here out of desperation and based on a coupon from the McDonald’s app. The other McDonald’s(El Cajon Blvd) apparently is now closed which is more convenient. GHETTO, but convenient . The manager/cashier was very nice and helpful. Only reason I am giving 2 stars is : 1. asked for no onions . 2.I asked for a happy meal and got charged for a mighty kids meal, yet I got the happy meal.

All 4 of my hash browns had hair in them. Ordered 2, both had hair. Ordered 2 more, and what do you know? Hair. Yuck yuck yuck. Never coming back to this McDonald’s. McDonald’s breakfast has officially been ruined for me. :(

Service was great. Food came out in a timely manner. I took my meal to go, and I enjoy every cholesterol filled bite. Until I bit into something hard in my double quarter pounder with cheese. I pull the hard bit out of my mouth and end up finding to large black pieces of rubbery plastic, likely something that broke off a spatula. Since I don’t think McDonalds, being a company that likely prides itself on customer satisfaction, would be happy to hear what experience I had with my burger, I immediately took pictures and send a message on the McDonalds customer service feedback on their website. I received a message a few days later saying the franchise owner would investigate and the appropriate action will be taken. However, it has been almost a week since the incident and I have not heard a word of what action was taken, nor was any effort to offer compensation for the issue. Granted, it’s just fast food, but I shouldn’t have to worry about swallowing random bits of who knows what because there was an incompetent employee or insufficient kitchen tools being used. Therefore, I’ve gone out of my way to make a point of it on the Internet for all to see. And there you have it.

Another reason Unilocal sucks. Really? You dumbass Unilocalers are going to complain about one time that the employee wasn’t friendly? Suck it. It’s McDonald’s. It’s 24 hours. Sometimes the fries are soggy and sometimes the drive they is slow but more often than not these people work hard and get me food at 5 am. I will come back out of necessity over desire but thank you.

I came here with my girlfriend at 12:30AM. After sitting in the drive through for a couple minutes without hearing anything my girlfriend said«we’re ready to order.» We waited another minute or so without hearing anything so my girlfriend said«hello?» to try to get their attention, and the lady taking drive through orders(we saw her name tag later at the window– her name is Joy) answered very pointedly and rudely that she was talking to a customer. When we finally got through to the window to pay, Joy continued to be very rude to my girlfriend. I eat here often, and the night shift manager(the black lady) is curt and very clearly hates her job, but she is at least nice if you’re nice to her. Joy was rude right from the start. I usually don’t like to waste 10 minutes of my time writing a review for a food place, but I am fairly upset at how my girlfriend and I were treated.

I already hate mcdonalds as is. So i was already hesitant to even go here, but im pregnant and have to have something is my stomach or else i throw up. Well after sitting in traffic during rush hour i stopped here quickly to get just a chicken sandwich and fries. We get to the counter and the guy takes the money and give us our food, fails to ask if we need any sauce or if they can help us with anything else. So before my husband pulled off i told him i wanted ranch for my sandwich, so we sit there waiting for someone to come back to the window. An employee makes EYECONTACT with me and keeps talking to his co workers(not even a different customer). Its now obvious im waiting for something or someone given ive already paid and already have my food and im looking at him ! So after he looks away and completely just ignores me i yell ‘excuse me!’ and by now im already frustrated, so he comes to the window and asks whats up and i ask him for ranch, he tells me itll be $.12. okay $.12 isnt a lot obviously, but i dont understand why if i bought a sandwich and asked for one, why im being charged. I can see if i asked for like 3, but one? i dont understand, more so i dont understand why most Mcdonalds employess act like the sauces are coming out of their paychecks. That nasty ass place makes so much money, i feel like you can Give ONE free Sauce per meal –_– it definitely pissed my pregnant self off. Never again. i Guess luckily for me i got rid of 12 pennies that sit in my drink holder every day. lol

This place doesn’t even deserve my one star. They forget that my dollar as a college student is worth the same as everyone else’s. The people can’t even pretend for a second that they don’t hate their job. I walked in with my service dog one night and the woman when I walked in instantly told me that I wasn’t allowed in with my dog without asking if she was a service animal. I then told her that she was a service animal and she demanded that I give her proof which is illegal according to the Americans with Disabilities Act. After going back in forth with her for about 5 minutes the guy who took my order told me that he would give me service this time but that next time the store would refuse. I was so embarrassed and upset that I went home and printed out the law and FAQ’s about service dogs for them to give to their manager. When I came back to give it to them they weren’t apologetic at all. They need some serious training on customer service.

I visit McDonald’s a lot more than I would like to admit but this is a new low. The mornings are usually fine, but once it gets later, the worse it gets. The workers at night are so terrible and unfriendly. They don’t ask questions like, «How are you?» And«Will that be all?» McDonald’s is McDonald’s, and I’m sure they must deal with a lot of undesirable people. But maybe they should consider hiding that attitude for the friendly customers that are actually nice. Extra note: Last visit, they failed to give us a receipt & when we asked, it was because they were«out of paper» …

I would have gave them zero stars if I could. First off i just wanted one double cheeseburger before my graveyard shift at work. Everything on their menu went up in price because of the lazy employees that didn’t go to college demand higher wages. Not our fault you screwed up your life and are working fast food. Secondly there were three cars ahead of me. I waited half an hour in the drive through just for 1 burger. The staff here are lazy fat and slow, because of them i was late to work. On top of waiting that long the burger i got was cold and distasteful. I will never return here again or any mc donalds for that matter. Im sure corporate doesn’t care about my Unilocal review. Mc donalds is a massive corporation and they make enough money by overcharging their obese customers anyway. They don’t care about losing 1 customer.

Don’t even know how the food is. But they clearly don’t know how to organize and schedule staff if I’m having to wait at the drive thru for about 15 mins(at the ordering window) with the chick coming back every couple of minutes telling us to hold on. I just left, that’s crazy. There is no need to have people waiting so long for a place that is supposed to be FAST food, you guys already keep things on warmers so something is clearly wrong with the people working there. These employees are not irreplaceable, find people who are competent!

Much like the majority of those who have posted their reviews, I just go because of the convenience of the location. One of the managers there started harassing me tonight about ordering as soon as I walked in and put my backpack down and this isn’t the first time she’s been rude. All I can say is if you hate your job, then quit. There’s no need take it out on your own customers especially as a manager.

Ordered their new crispy grilled chicken sandwich but they choked on the order and gave me a completely different chicken sandwich off their boring menu. And to add insult to injury the chicken was served grilled when it only was supposed to come in crispy. CRASHANDBURNMCDONALD, EPICFAIL! The even more confusing part of the whole ordeal is that they offered the promotion of the new McWest double grilled-onion bacon cheddar chicken sandwich with BBQ sauce or WTF they called it when I pulled up to the ordering window, but they couldn’t deliver what they promised and charged me that full premium price. Never got to try that new menu item out since it was discontinued by the next time I visited another McDonald’s. I wonder if employees were to lazy to actually make it and kept serving other crap instead. LOL, I can go months without Mickie-Dee’s from now on.

Straight up I asked her a simple question and expected a simple customer-friendly answer. But of course that’s NOT what I got. I got a smartass old black lady remark. Will I be back? Hell yeah.
