Latitude Zero Skin Care

This review is coming from an angry customer ! I purchased the Groupon based on good Unilocal reviews. Well, I never even got the facial! I booked service a month ahead. Day before I received a reminder from Silvia about my appointment. I showed up in time just to find out that building is under construction after fire! WTF !!! How careless the business owner should be and not even notify the customer ??? I wasted my time, left work early to make it there! And this wasn’t the end! Silvia redeemed my UNUSED voucher! Now I am having a problem to solve this with Groupon t get my money! What kind of customer service is this???

Silvia is awesome ! She’s very detailed and advises of everything and anything before a treatment. She gave me realistic expectations on the jessner peel I received and although it’s not a drastic difference as its my first peel ever ! My skin is smoother in texture, some of my pigmentation has faded away, and most of my acne had calmed down. I would’ve liked for the results to have been on the WOW factor but it was a very light and effective treatment.

What a treat! Silvia has exemplary knowledge of skin care. I appreciate her honesty. Although our time together was very quick, I felt that the treatment was going to work and I certainly hope it did. I will go back and trust I will receive the same kindness and expertise. I appreciate having somebody from Italy work on my face, as that seems so European and special to me!

MALE PERSPECTIVE: Thought I’d jump in since all the other reviews are from women. I see Silvia about once a month to get my eyebrows waxed. She’s VERY careful not to overdo it, which is important on a man because making it look too groomed will lead to a very feminine look.
Instead, I leave looking clean and well-​groomed. She’s very kind and gives great service. I highly recommend her.
Additionally, I was having some acne issues so I got a full facial from her and my skin has been in GREAT shape ever since.
Moms, take your sons (or husbands) to her if they have problems with acne, unibrow, etc. I wish I’d known about this when I was in high school. Would have saved me a lot of teasing.

Excellent, old world European style skin care. Silvia is the real deal, as she learned her trade in her native Italy and received her aesthetition certification in Pisa, Italy before moving to San Diego nearly 30 years ago. I’ve been seeing Silvia for over 10 years, following her from little Italy to her present location in Hillcrest. I mainly get facials from her and eyebrow waxing, but she does it all. Anyone else I’ve ever tried just can’t measure up to her quality of service. If you are in the area, you must see her!

I absolutely love Silvia! She is great for facials and peels. She always has great tips and recommendations for skincare, but she won’t push you to buy her products. I’ve been going to her over 6 months and I walk out feeling relaxed and my skin refreshed. I’ve gone to estheticians since I was 15 and tried them all over the world. Silvia reminds me of some of the best experiences I had in Italy. She takes her time with you and analyzes your skin. She is the best!

Sylvia is awesome! I’ve tried to have my eyebrows tinted a few times and it never really took. She did a great job on mine and even allowed me to go a little darker. I will definitely be going back and also trying her for facials!
