I didn’t pay to have Jones Security install my alarm or have an account with his company. But the number for Jones Security is on the panel for the alarm in my house, so I called it when there was a mysterious beeping noise in my dining room that was driving me crazy. And even though it was 9:30 at night and I don’t have an account, Ron Jones looked up my system, told me what components were in the dining room, explained to me that none of them could be beeping, and suggested other things I should look for that might be causing it. (Turns out it was an old smoke alarm that had got stuck in the back of a drawer with the batteries still in it.) Great customer service when you aren’t even a customer. That’s 5 stars in my book.

I highly recommend this company. Ron Jones installed the alarm system in my prior house about 25 years ago, and in my current house 17 years ago. I chose Ron over other companies the first time because of his clear proposal and excellent references. I had estimates from bigger companies that were competitive but didn’t seem to care about customizing a system to my house and had national monitoring systems instead of a local base. The installation was carefully done and the wires neatly stored in the alarm box in both houses. Ron is always available for questions and problems. The service is outstanding. He talked my husband through clearing a spider web in the smoke alarm that set off the system a few years ago while on the phone late at night. When we’ve accidentally set the system off, his monitoring staff responds promptly and courteously. We appreciate the personal service from a small and professional company.
