I just left there. So disappointed. I’d expected a much better massage after reading the reviews. I had a man, not the woman some reviewers referred to. I booked a 30 min foot and 60 minute whole body massage. I left after 45 minutes. The masseur really doesn’t have training. It was like getting a massage from my 12 yo niece. .I gave 2 stars because I don’t like to be too harsh, the place was plain but clean, and the people were polite.

Wasn’t sure what to expect when I purchased a Groupon for 60 minute Asian Reflexology massage. Being in San Diego for the weekend, I called and made a same day appointment.
Walking in, I was greeted politely and looked around… it’s clean and neat — nothing fancy.
Ushered into a room with a leather chaise chair, ottoman and a massage bed. Again, nothing fancy, but very neat and clean.
I was guided to the chaise, seated and my feet put into a tub of hot water… heaven! As my feet soaked, he massaged my head, arms and hands. Finally, my feet. I HAVE. NO. WORDS.
Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, he moved me to the massage table where he worked on my shoulders and back.
Buying a Groupon to try a new business or service can be hit or miss. This was definitely a HIT!
I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to relax after a long, stressful week!

I go here every week. Came to Ming with problems in my hip, osteoarthiritis. I had tried acupuncture but no help. I worked out daily and ran all the time but with that pain, I was unable to run. Since I have been seeing Ming for the full 1 hour reflexology with hot stones, all of my hip pain has gone away… no need for steroid injections or meds from my doctor!!! I have now been going for almost 4 months and I am very, very happy with the service I receive. Ming is very friendly and takes care of my pain needs. LOVE this place!

my guy was not experienced and during the foot part, he fell asleep. I was beyond bummed. I did tip even though I didn’t want to because they say they work on tips only… is that legal?

I got the 60 min reflexology massage Groupon as a gift, and holy cow was it great. I felt better all day and my sore muscles are back to normal (they offer a full body massage with it). I’d highly recommend and I’ll be back for the great prices.

If you like really hard massage and really hot stones, this place is for you.
Got a groupon as a gift for 20 minute foot reflexology, and 40 minute hot stone massage. I woke up a few days ago with THE WORST pain in my upper back on my left shoulder, and thought eh I’ll just take advil and hope it goes away. Yesterday I found my groupon that I had tucked away on Christmas and i am SO HAPPY I was able to get into Jasmine Spa so quickly.
I’ll start with the cons, because there arent many, and mainly just personal preference:
–this place is located on a busy street, I’ve probably passed by it a million times it is so tiny and not visually appealing from the outside.
–walk in, also not visually appealing waiting room, maybe they’re still trying to get everything set up, but let me just say… upon entrance I was worried about what my family got me into with this groupon…
–one of the only signs inside is «how to tip your masseuse» that just rubbed me the wrong way (no pun intended) because I work in the service industry and pride myself on tipping appropriately based on original price and service provided… however this sign suggests that an excellent massage should receive a $ 30 tip… a little extreme for what would have been an already $ 70 service… more on that later.

–OPEN LATE!!! I was so excited when I called at 5:30pm on a Tuesday and they said they would be open until 930 or 10 pm and that they could fit me in at 6pm.
–I have a horrible back and get massages as regularly as possible when I have any free time between jobs… the male masseuse I had was very, very rough. He went to town on my back and I absolutely loved it. I normally ask for hard pressure anywhere I go, and he just must have felt all those knots and known thats what I needed.
–simple rooms, only the 2 beds and one small desk
–nice, relaxing tunes continuously being played, no awkward silences or fussing with the music during the massage.
–they cover your eyes during foot reflexology, so you can really relax without feeling like youre forcing your eyes shut even with the very, very dim lighting in the room.
–GROUPON! this groupon deal is amazing. $ 31 for both services… an hour long in total. I’ll be honest, I got home after and purchased another for myself as the first one was a gift from my brother, I also made sure to tell my entire family to get this deal while its available because it was so amazing!
–stones were HOT HOT HOT!!! felt like my back was getting burnt, but the masseuse knew exactly what he was doing and moved everything enough to keep my whole body warm and never burning me. Nice, hot, stones, I absolutely loved this part.
–They accept tips via credit cards. I showed up with minimal cash but was able to use my card to leave the tip.
Well, I went in with 3 days worth of back pain and left with what felt like it was almost completely gone. Woke up the next day with no pain at all. I am so grateful and excited to know this place is around, and that I have another groupon to use here for the exact same services I’ve already had. I ended up tipping him $ 30 because it was a gift so, in reality I spent no money on the actual services, and I LOVED every second of it, so why not tip for an excellent service? If you can, get the groupon and try this place out, dont judge it by the outside, and hope you get a male masseuse for maximum pressure. I will be back!

Excellent service and reasonable prices. Came here for the groupon deal and came back for a reflexology/​hot stone massage. Different from a common Swedish massage, the massages offered at jasmine spa were really effective in easing muscle tension on the feet and back.

Got the groupon for a hot stone massage, it felt so good! Especially after the week I had, lol, the masseuse must have felt where there was a lot of tension. Even though I didn’t talk to him, he really worked on the neck/​shoulder area that has been kinked up for awhile-​and it felt super good afterwards ^_^

I came with a Groupon for a one hour foot reflexology massage, I had never had a reflexology massage before. There was no communication with my masseuse whatsoever. The woman manning the reception desk led me to a room with a bowl of hot water for my feet, and gestured toward where I should lay down. Then my male masseuse came in and started massaging my head with barely a greeting… During the hour he would come in and out of the room, or open and close cabinets, which was very distracting.
It turns out that the massage is a full body massage, by the way. I don’t have back pain normally, but my back has been hurting ever since, to the point that I’m probably going to end up going to the doctor as soon as I can get an appointment.
Their low prices are definitely not worth it. Ugh.

My friend and I bought the 60 Minute Foot Reflexology Groupon for $ 18 (Originally $ 36).
Tina did an awesome job. The groupon says foot reflexology but this is a full body massage with most of the attention paid to your feet. SO GOOD. We are already planning on coming back as they have special deals for Groupon users.

This place is OKAY. I came in impromptu for a 1 hour massage for a reasonable $ 40 + tip. My masseuse (who was female) spoke very basic English, which met my needs. She asked if I wanted hard or medium and I opted for my usual, medium. Apparently their medium is my soft, so mid-​massage I VERBALLY opted for their hard which turned out to be somewhere in between soft and medium ha. I kinda wanted to say eh… I’m good, but thought it rude.
Needless to say… it wasn’t the best massage. However, the price was right, but I’ve also received a better $ 20 massage for an hour at LH Footcare (peep that review). Though the facility here is much nicer and relaxing in comparison.
Debit MasterCard and Visa are accepted with a $ 1 fee for usage. Like many Asian massage parlors, They’re open later. Monday thru Sunday 9:30a — 10p.
Please keep in mind that the workers here work on tips, so even if your massage sucks (like mine), you don’t have to return, but be kind and generous in your giving.

On Sunday, while I was getting my car detailed at 5 Points, it occurred to me how much my legs were killing me. At that very moment, I happened upon Jasmine Massage. Now I get an Asian massage almost every other week, sometimes weekly. So let me just say that Tina who worked on me for an hour and a half did an outstanding job! She just knows where the aches and pains are hiding.
So for those of you who’ve never done an Asian massage… get totally undressed and lay faced down and place the sheet over yourself. Don’t worry, the massage therapist will discreetly keep you covered but will be able to treat all the areas that need to be massaged. Everything is professional and strictly massage.
$ 40 per 1hr.
Mine was 1.5hrs $ 60 and I added $ 20 tip.
