Their menu structure is excellent, especially for dinner! They offer fresh naan/roti, rice salad and raita as standard options, and you can choose from veg curries and chicken/lamb. This is almost a buffet offering at dinner! Food quality and price are great! Service is also nice with friendly people. It’s a great place for having a decent dinner at an excellent price. They also have a 10% discount for putting down money on a pre-paid card. This is great for regulars.

Been coming to this place pretty regularly for the past year, they have some good food and are reasonably priced. I usually get 1 veg 1 meat combo for around $ 8, or you can custom order with pretty decent portions. For me this is one of the better places in the area, and the guys there are pretty chill.

A great restaurant. I was looking for a long time since I started working in the area for a Indian place. Glad I found it. The tandoori chicken is amazing. Definitely coming back.

I was confused as to why it was cafeteria style. Then after, I noticed it was an outdoor food court lol. Don’t be deceived by the layout! The tikka masala was good. Comes with rice, lentils and tandoori bread. Minus one star just cause it doesn’t have that restaurant feel. But 5 for food and service.

I have been eating here few years now. It tastes better than any other Indian restaurants in the area at a resonable price. Sometimes I custom order if i dont like what they have. Customers service is good. Overall I love this place.

Very original, yummiest, healthy and authentic indian food in town. Service is very good given that it’s a food court restaurant. I can eat there everyday.

The food was mediocre. For 7.99 you get on a small styrofoam compartment plate chicken curry(watery) one veg dish. I had the baking and barrtha with naan, rice salad(only cucumber) raita.

Lovely Indian food with right taste for everyone not too spicy and not too bland. Sidhu is a good person and he always take a good care and superb suggestions always. Imp: Do not forget to taste Chicken tikka masala and Mango lassi. My favorite and I love it.

I had lamb curry, saag, rice, a small bit of salad and some naan. The food was good, but not remarkable. The remarkable part was the price: $ 8 for a whole meal to go. The naan wasn’t very good… but it wasn’t so bad that I didn’t eat one… but I didn’t eat both of them because at the end of naan #1 I was out of lamb and saag. This is a «fast food» Indian place with little tables like you’d expect to see in McDonalds.

One of the best indian restaurants I have been to in a long time. everything is fantastic. food is mouth watering delicious. vegetarian selections are all great but mutter paneer is a must try. My 5 yr old started eating indian after visiting this restaurant. Sidhu is very inviting and has great customer service. If you live in San Diego and haven’t visited Indian tandoor you are missing out on some spectacular indian food. this place is highly recommended. Must visit!

It’s hard to find good Indian food in town. I must say I was impressed with the flavors of the good here. The lamb curry was spicy and delicious. The chicken tikka Masala was also tasty not as spicy. The vegetable Biriyani was delicious also. A nice variety of vegetable rice. It reminded me of a paella but vegetable base. Every meal comes with naam. I will definitely come back for their buffet.

Full disclosure, I love Indian food and I come here about once a week. That being said, for Indian food, this place isn’t that good. It’s worth a visit though. For 7.99 you get a vegetarian dish and a meat dish with salad, naan bread and rice served cafeteria style. The chicken tikka masala and the naan are decent and easily the highlight of the meal. The vegetarian stuff is hit and miss, though it’s usually pretty bland. I come here pretty often because it’s cheap and close to where I work. If you’re looking for really good Indian food then this is not the place to go. If you work in the area then I’d recommend at least trying this place out.

This is possibly the best Indian food joint in San Diego. The regular food is not that spicy but they can make it spicy enough for you, and in all honesty«North Indian» food is never about spiciness, it’s about the flavor. They make moderately spicy food because they want to serve a broad variety of customers, both Indians or otherwise, and not everyone has the same taste for spice, and if you fail to understand that then you should probably stick to McDonalds. The place is small so do not expect a candle light dinner with servers in Tuxedos and chilled Champagne. If you’re here then you’d have to settle with styrofoam boxes and plastic containers and I do that happily every time I go there, absolutely no problem with that. :) You can always sit out side in the sitting area in the open and enjoy your food or better yet make the food to-go and enjoy it in your fancy cutlery back home in the comfort of your crib. Not a rocket science! Their combo buffets are a delight and the menu dishes are even better. I can’t even begin to explain how good the tandoori meat(chicken, goat meat, lamb etc) preparation is. You’ve got to go there and try it yourself. They also have some in-house experts in a variety of Indian breads like Naan, Tandoori roti etc. I have even gotten food catered by them to my son’s birthday and the dishes weren’t even on the menu. They prepared the dishes much to our liking and as me and my wife wanted. Simply said, everyone loved the food and all of it was gone pretty quick. I will keep going back to this place and you should too. And last but not the least, Sidhu is the man here and he has never failed to impress me, he’s helpful and simply great.

Food was not so great. Poor customer service. Lamb curry was too chewy, vegetable curry tasted good, bread was the only thing that was really good. Asked to order an extra order after we ate and the cashier only wanted cash. Didnt carry any cash and after I mentioned to her to comp it she did so. Would not go here again. Styrofoam plates for a dine in come on. This place needs some tlc…

Super bummed. So sad when you’re hoping for Indian food that’s going to satisfy your cravings. I was greeted by a guy that had rude vibes from the moment I walked in and seemed annoyed that I was there. He rushed answering a question I had regarding their vegan curries. So I just went ahead and ordered their chana masala. When it came out it was barely spicy when I ordered the extra spicy option and the biggest no was that lacked a good amount of flavor… Which is unheard of when it comes to Indian cuisine. The rice they paired it with tasted and looked like they took a frozen vegetable medley and mixed it with old cooked white rice. I couldn’t even eat more than 4 bites before I decided to take it to go. I don’t know why I thought this hole in the wall would be worth my $ 15.

Vegetable Korma is subtly spicy, sweet, yet creamy. The taste makes its sultry way from the tip of your tongue all the way to the bottom of your belly and it warms you up from the inside out. The tikka masala was also good, though the chicken portions are slightly small. However, considering a 2 meat combo comes with a side of rice, salad AND two pieces of perfect naan all for under $ 9, it is very hard to complain. Very nice people here and very simple eating without unnecessary frills. There are only a handful of tables inside, but some communal patio tables outside.
