Frankie and Taryn did an amazing job on our wedding!
I had some ideas that I was hoping for, but incorporating sunflowers into everything was really important to me. I sat down with them and talked about my ideas, and what I was aiming for, Frankie really helped me explore options that worked with my vision.
Day of, my bridal bouquet was BEYOND gorgeous, my bridesmaids bouquets matched their dresses perfectly, down the aisle she put sunflower heads (what a creative idea!), and the arch… Words can not describe how stunning it was. All my guests wanted pictures in front of it.
The feel of the reception was like being lost in a romantic secret garden. High and low centerpieces created depth; and candles, and small trees were placed perfectly that my guests were raving about them. Such Talent!
They deliver, set up, and pick up without me having to worry about anything.
Business with Hartworks Floral was easy and effortless. I can not stress how glad I am that I gave Frankie my business.

i was familiar with Frankie because of a friend of mine who designed flowers for my children’s weddings. The job that was done for my children was unbelievably beautiful and over and above any flowers I’ve ever experienced at a wedding. (absolutely incredibly beautiful)!
So when it came to flowers for my daughters baby shower I decided to go with Frankie because my friend had since retired.
Frankie and I sat down with my Daughter and her mother in law. We talked about the flowers and I gave her a budget of $ 400.00. We looked at different flowers and came to an agreement on these purple flowers can’t think of the name of them right now. She said she could add contrasting color to the arrangements and put pink ribbon around the vases. We also had agreed on a branch style low sitting arrangement filled with flowers to sit on the food table.
When she sent me the estimate she asked if I would like to add another $ 5.00 to the 10 vases so that I can keep them to send with some of my guest which I payed My total was then $ 450.00 I payed in full almost two months in advance. I never expected what would happen next. I received another bill stating there was a set up fee of $ 110.00 which was way at the bottom of the page in very small font. I explained to Frankie that I didn’t want to pay the extra $ 110.00 because I felt I had already gave her my budget and nothing was ever said about the $ 110.00 set up fee. After much conversation Frankie agreed to waive the fee.
I called Frankie and asked her to please make four of the arrangements to go around umbrellas which would be in the center of four of the tables and she said she would.
When the flowers arrived that morning for my daughters baby shower there were ten round vases with purple flowers set in water and a purple bow around each vase. There was also a tree that had very few flowers on the branches and fake flowers all around the bottom of the tree pot. No pink ribbon, no low sitting branch for the food table and no arrangements to go around the four umbrellas. In fact I expected to see some sort of flower arrangements and there were only flowers in a small glass vase I can’t call them arrangements. I didn’t receive anything we agreed upon. Frankie also told me that the flowers she had for the center piece were all wilted when she went to pick them up to bring them to the shower. The flowers were dropped off and left on the table, not a word was said to me when her and her helper left. I was so upset but it was my daughters baby shower and I didn’t want to cause a problem just wanted to have a beautiful day.
A couple of days later I decided to call Frankie and tell her how I felt. The only response I received was, «I’m sorry your disappointed.» I haven’t heard one thing from hartworks floral since I spoke to Frankie on the phone.
it’s very heart breaking to me I was so excited about my daughters baby shower and wanted to make it even more special with beautiful flowers! I did not receive 450.00 worth of flowers. The flowers I received I buy at costco once every couple of weeks for $ 9.99. I was so shocked I never thought for one second I would have to worry about going with hartworks floral, but I certainly did.
I know that Frankie does much better work than what I received. I don’t know if my not paying the $ 110.00 was the reason for the change, but I’m really glad I at least walked out saving that extra set up fee.
I really truly believed after seeing the work at some of my friends weddings (which I referred to Frankie) I just knew the work would be fabulous!
I learned some big lessons:
1. Never pay in full
2. Always see the finished product before paying to make sure the product
meets your needs.
I wanted to post pictures of the work that was done but couldn’t figure out how to post them. If anyone knows how please let me know I really want to show the flowers I received it will give a good understanding to my dilemma. Its good to have a visual of what someone is talking about when writing a review.

Frankie is amazing. I was recommended to her by my wedding coordinator, Geneene Thornton. I came in with 2 pictures (because as a bride, you need a lot of pictures, examples, and inspiration!), one was of a white calla lily bouquet; the other of a group of bridesmaids with blue dresses and coral flowers.
That’s what I wanted.
And she gave it to me. And stuck to our budget.
The flowers were perfect; when we met with her, she had a whole book of flowers we could go through to pick the perfect shade of coral, the perfect flower to match, the PERFECT ribbon to tie everything with…
Hartworks did an exceptional job at our wedding and I would recommend her a thousand times over to any bride! Thanks Frankie! :)

Frankie and her team gave me the wedding I always dreamed of! Every single detail was perfect. My wedding was the most beautiful one I have ever been to, and I think every bride should feel that way! Frankie is truly gifted. All her recommendations were spot-​on, and she has the best personality! I can’t say enough about my experience with Hartworks.

Frankie was unbelievable. She worked with my small budget and lack of floral knowledge. She was able to figure out what it was that I wanted, and made it better. My wedding flowers were wonderful, and much more than I ever could have imagined!

I was recommended to Frankie Hartwell and Hartworks Floral by my wedding planner, Sharon Cole from A Dream Wedding by Sharon. The two are neighbors in an office building and Sharon uses Frankie often so I felt confident setting up a meeting with her. During the meeting, I picked out flowers that I liked and told Frankie I was open to suggestions. The only stipulation I specifically told her was that because I was having a formal evening wedding, I did not want anything that looked tropical in any way. After we met, I was told that I would need to give a $ 300 deposit for Frankie to start; $ 75 of that cost was for the mockup centerpiece that she was to make for me to view as a sample beforehand. About a week later, Sharon brought us the mockup to our tasting and I couldn’t believe it. The centerpiece was made up of tropical greenery, complete with a bird of paradise, and no other flowers that had bloomed. It was so ugly and the complete opposite of everything we had discussed, I decided I did not want to use Frankie as my florist.
I called Frankie to let her know my disappointment and she did ask for another chance. However, because she had created something that was everything I specifically requested the centerpiece NOT be, I felt we simply weren’t on the same page and she didn’t fit my style. I asked her to keep the $ 75 for the mockup she created but asked her to return the remainder of the deposit since we were not going to use her services. She refused to do this and she insisted she deserved to keep the deposit even though she had done no work beyond the mock centerpiece, she had not bought any flowers for our event up to that point, and we had only signed up with her a week prior. So I essentially gave Frankie Hartwell /​Hartworks Floral $ 225 for NO SERVICES rendered and paid $ 75 for a centerpiece that did not reflect ANYTHING that I asked for!
I understand the plight of wedding vendors and the reason for deposits. However, in this scenario, I gave a deposit to a florist who promised to listen and create something that fit our needs and expectations and she totally failed right out the gate. She did not simply make something I just didn’t like, but she totally ignored my request and made something that personified everything I said I DID NOT want! I tried to resolve the issue fairly by offering partial payment and I was met with a brick wall and a refusal to give back the money she did not earn. In this case, I believe that Frankie Hartwell /​Hartworks Floral did not conduct business with integrity and obviously did not care what her paying clients’ requests. I cannot recommend using Hartworks Floral for any couple looking for a wedding florist based on my experience and I warn anyone who considers using her to be careful as she will take your money regardless if she meets your needs or not.

Frankie made our wedding beautiful! She is a wonderful person with so much talent and we were lucky to have her create our flowers. She didnt miss a single beautiful detail from center pieces, to the archway outside to the bar tables and fire place mantel! Thanks so much Frankie!
