Hair Extensions By Mr. Waatani

Waatani and his team recently provided hair styling for my photo shoot and I was extremely pleased. They captured my vision perfectly and were very attentive during the entire shoot making certain that every hair was in place. I changed my models looks several times during the shoot and they were quick to roll with the changes going from hip and edgy to 1940’s glam.

I had been to 4 extension salons before discovering the genius of Mr. Waatani. My first one, Hair Sensations has my review that needs to be read, my second one was with a terrific person, Terri Cahill who did an incredible job putting an awesome amount of ‘strands’ in my hair but unfortunately I wasn’t use to this procedure and couldn’t manage the technique so I had her removed them and she was kind enough not to charge me for taking them out. My third one was Salon LG in Solana Beach and after they gossiped about me to Terry Cahill (Shelly the owner knows her) because I went to Terri instead of them saying awful things about me when they didn’t even know me in an attempt to get Terri to drop me… well, that was ENOUGH! My fourth experience needed to be corrected. So. in less than 6 weeks, I spent $ 500 (A FIX-UP)with No.1, $ 1,000 with no.2, $ 0 with number 3 except for a horrible experience and $ 1,200 with No.4 for a total of $ 2,700 in six weeks and probably damaged some of my hair with the putting them in and taking them out so much and still looking for No.5!!! Desperate, my mind wandered through names I had heard about in the extension business and then I remembered someone mentioned Mr??? does a great job with hair extensions but I couldn’t, for the life of me, remember his full name. Thank goodness for computers!!! Typing in ‘Mr. and Hair Extensions’ MR. WAATANI CAME UP! Incredible reviews and 2 minutes from my home!!! After speaking to him on the phone for quite some time, I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and concern and he immediately set an appointment for a consultation!!! When you meet him you sense his kindness and concern. Taking his time, he came to the conclusion that one of the colors in my hair ‘wasn’t my friend’ as he put it! RIGHT ON! i liked him immediately and more importantly, trusted him. When I arrived for my appointment, he spent a lot of time
going through my hair trying to decide what it was that made the colors not match and although he could have suggest taking all the hair out and charging me a lot more money, he decided he would take out only the tapes that had the bad color and replace these white-​ish grey-​ish pink-​ish color with a beautiful honey blonde that would match my own hair. Paying a fraction of I what I would have if all of them were replaced, I knew I was in the hands of a very considerate person. He is a true PERFECTIONIST!!!
WOW!!! Not only did he replace the necessary tapes, but he re-​did some that were not ‘angled’ correctly so they’d fall more naturally around my face and are a lot more
easy to style! NOW, I ASK YOU… WHO WOULD TAKE THE TIME TO DO THIS?!
Then he did a great job cutting and styling my hair. After he corrected the color, he decided I had way too much hair on my head and didn’t replace some of the tapes he removed. Between the color correction, taking hair out and a great cut and style,
I looked at least 5 years younger and was thrilled!!! Can you imagine how I felt after all I’d been through??? There are a lot… I REPEAT…‘A LOT’ of extension ‘specialists’ in San Diego who claim to know what they’re doing — my advice, DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME… GO DIRECTLY TO SEE MR. WAATANI!!! Oh, and he put
the best hair possible on my head… HAIR DREAMS!!! Of course, I’m going to wait
until it’s necessary to replace all the tapes in about 6 months (while going to see Mr. Waatani for short touch-​ups) but I can’t imagine how wonderful my hair will look when it isn’t compromised even though Mr. Waatani did such a great job and salvaged so much in an effort to keep my cost down! THANK YOU MR. WAATANI!!! HANDS DOWN THE BEST IN SAN DIEGO!

I have been going to Waatani for the past 2 years and HANDS DOWN he is the best hair stylist I have ever used. Due to my busy schedule, he is able to come to my home in oceanside (as early as I want) in order to accommodate me. my extensions look natural and easy to manage. I get compliments about my hair pretty much all the time. last month, I got my hair done on a friday and it looked great on Tuesday after going through labor. The nurses kept commenting on my hair the whole time lol. Try Wataani, he’s the best hair dresser (I should mention that my hair is crazy curly)
