located in a plaza with a few restaurants near trader joes. I was referred to Cynthia from a beauty supply store. I came in around 11a.m. & it seemed busy. Which seems like a good sign even the manicurist had a client. Cynthia greeted me and took me in the back of the salon where its more private.
I was already wearing my wig so it was easier for her to trim. All I wanted was the bangs trimmed so it looked more natural on me. She was very friendly & informed me that she’s had a few cancer patients before, which put my mind at ease. I was thinking of getting more of it styled but she said it won’t look natural so I just went with the bangs trimmed. She did a great job & even washed my hair with peppermint shampoo, which was refreshing!
I even got recommendation for a good shampoo after my treatments done. Cynthia works part time here & heart supply. I will definitely be coming back to her in the future.

I walked in with my 4 year old and no one greeted us or would talk to us. I had to interrupt a stylist doing a blow dry to see how to find out if anyone was available for a hair cut. She walked around, came back and said no one was free. No offer to set an appointment or ask if we wanted to wait. I would never recommend a salon that has such rude stylists and is not welcoming at all.

Dawn has been doing my hair for some time now. I’m always so pleased and happy when she colors, highlights, cuts and styles my hair. She makes me look like a million bucks! Prices are competitive and fair. You won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been meaning to write a review for Hair Dynamics but never got around to it. I dyed my hair back in December. I was feeling spontaneous one morning after grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s and decided to change up my hair color. Upon entering the salon at around 9:30 AM, I had to ring for service and shortly after I did, a lady came up to the front to assist me. She had to check to see if anyone was available since it was already quiet busy. Linda was able to squeeze me into her schedule and did a great job with my hair color. I had to bleach my hair since I wanted a lighter shade on non-​virgin hair. Since this was my first time bleaching, Linda explained the steps through out the process so that I was aware of what she was doing. Linda was very helpful in helping me choose a color that would show on my non-​virgin hair and the end results was exactly what I wanted. This took about 3 hours and cost me about $ 130. I did not know they did not accept card so I had to do cash back at Trader Joes. Overall, Linda did a great job and I would definitely come back for my next color treatment.

I wandered in here on NYE day for a blow out in leiu of Super Cuts next door. It was a Monday so not a lot of hair salons were open. I walked in and Linda happened to be available and quoted me $ 30 (I have fairly long hair). Not bad!
I told her I wanted volume in my hair and she did a great job, taking her time. Bring photos along if you have a style in mind.
I was really happy with the job she did and would certainly see her again if I were visiting SD in the future. Thanks, Linda!

Got a haircut from Marcy and am super pleased with the results.
I really wasn’t expecting much, I cut my hair a few months ago and was going for a trim. Not a huge fan of short hair, but cut it to make my husband happy for a month or so while it grew out.
Marcy was very patient with me, and I was very happy with the end result. Got a divine shampooing, cut, and some advice on how to make it a little more manageable. Most importantly, I felt at ease with her and the time just flew by. I find that having someone you’re comfortable with makes the process a little less painful :)
Also got my eyebrows waxed. I normally prefer threading, but she did a great job with that too, it was as painless as waxing can be.
A little pricier than I’m used to, but it was worth it. Now to make it look the same on my own…

made an appointment. came on time and there was no one at the front. no one to greet or anything. i told a stylist that i had an appointment and she said the person was not there. 20 minutes later and i ask her again and it turns out the stylist was in the back the whole time working on someone else. the stylists don’t know each others names? It’s quite confusing if you are a new customer and you don’t know who your stylist is since there is not receptionist.

Wonderful salon! Marcy Liberty is a hair genius! She’s very attentive, professional, precise and talented. Marcy cares that your particular hair color and cut really match your face, skin tone, personality and style. I listen to her advice and always have great results. I’ve been her client for 12 years now. If you are unsure about a big change in color or style, bring photo references from magazines, Marcy will help you pick what works best on you! For the record this is the best salon I have worked from in my 20 years of being a cosmetologist. Dawn the owner is a sweetheart! If your considering comming here for the first time as a client or a renter I must say everyone that works here seems pretty safe and talented in their own right (not always the case) in most salons. Everyone gets along pretty well and there is a good energy flow in the salon even when it’s packed (again, not always the case in most salons) lol.
The salon is well established, has very low turnover and has a range of personalities so you’ll most likely find a sylist or manicurist just for you that won’t break your bankbook.

Dawn @ Hair Dynamics is great! She really took the time to understand what I wanted to do with the color and cut of my hair. My haircut and color came out exactly the way I wanted it. I have received several compliments on my hair and would recommend Dawn to anyone. Thanks and I’ll be back :)
