I’ve been coming here for 14 years! Their tuna salad tastes Mediterranean. That is my favorite thing to order on their menu.

Green Light deli is THEBEST! I’ve worked in the area for years and this is THEBEST deli in the area, trust me, I’ve tried them all. The grilled TJB is to dye for! But all the food is the best & the people are great! Super friendly and are the kind of people who remember you, I love that kind of atmosphere. Katy your deli is THEBEST in the area! Thank u all so much for always pleasing my hungry belly! DELICIOUS! I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area(across the street from the JCC in la jolla).

Standard Office building Deli. I ordered the Santa Fe Club on sourdough. This warm sandwich was well proportion with ingredients including fresh lettuce and chopped flat bacon pieces. The Santa Fe part of this sandwich is the«Santa Fe» style of turkey, not because of any special southwestern sauce. Melted cheese is also part of this sandwich ensemble. — What I really liked about my sandwich was that it was a perfect lunch size, it wasn’t messy, and of course it was tasty. — They have a nice local magazine rack located inside. — My Sandwich took about 5 minutes to make during the lunch rush. — Parking may be an issue here. — They play Muzac out on the patio. U2’s with or without you… Annoying yet Funny.

I have eaten here occasionally for the past three years — since I started working in the UTC area. I’ve always been impressed by the friendliness of the owners and their staff. Last week I used them to cater a 40+ person lunch presentation at our offices across the street. They were fantastic! The sandwiches and salad were delicious and fresh. The variety of chips and drinks(juices and teas) was exceptional, and the chocolate chip cookies were perfect. They delivered right on time, even a bit early, and set it up for me. I will definitely use them again. Also, their Grilled TBJ on sourdough with the works is my favorite sandwich. Also their acai bowl. Yum!

I work across the street from this deli and have placed large orders for office meetings and have come by myself and have had lunch at the outdoor seating they have. The food here is very fresh, tasty and healthy. I usually get the veggie sandwich on whole grain bread, it comes with sprouts, avocado, cucumbers, pickles and tomatoes. love it. If you like curry, on Tuesday’s they have a chicken curry special that comes with a rice, chicken and a side salad with dressing of choice-love this combo. I could go on and on, all the items I’ve had I’ve really liked. Prices are reasonable if not less then most places nearby. The other big plus is that the staff and the owner are incredibly friendly and loyal to their customers. They are always very punctual when they deliver. Underground Parking, if not street parking. Convenient for those who work in the area. Definitely my local go to place.

I got a «London Broil Roast Beef» on Spinach tortilla wrap w/horseradish cheddar, onion, lettuce and tomato, avocado was included in the price. With a can of coke it was $ 8.00, which I thought more than fair… problem was, they were pretty stingy with the meat. I ate here today because it is in the same office building as my doctor’s office and he was running late. There is an art to the sandwich, and this one was not made by an artist, but a technician. Being from back East, I take the sandwich very seriously. It was decent, but were I to eat here again, would have to order double meat or have them put all of the meat on one side. It’s commodity deli meat(Deitz & Watson), which is better than the sliced stuff in a plastic bag at the supermarket, but imo, not as good as Boar’s Head. Got it to go, they put it in a Styrofoam container, and I will request paper next time. All of the staff were very polite and efficient.

Pathetic excuse for a business. It started off all good. They had a line but they got it moving fast, and we’re very friendly. I was really craving a sandwich but went the healthy road and decided on an Açai bowl. Should have gotten the sandwich… Green Light has NO business selling Açai bowls. They scooped frozen Açai put it in a «bowl» and by bowl in mean 4 oz container. With frozen bananas, strawberries, granola and coconut shavings. I tried eating it but it was like eating frozen ice cream and that’s not what I signed up for at $ 6.25. So I tossed it. Not palatable at all. So I go back in grab a bag of chips and explain to the owner that they don’t know sh*t about Açai and she says«you have to wait 5 minutes and it will melt» really? Cause I was out there for 10 minutes and guess what it’s still frozen. I explained to her how a proper Açai bowl is made and she told me I’m describing a smoothie… WTF?!? So instead of apologizing and offering either my money back or something else she just kept arguing with me and I just decided my time is too valuable to be wasted on arguing with idiots. So I left, bought a bag of chips and will hopefully not kill someone since now I’m grumpy because I’m hungry. Why own a business if you just don’t care???

For lunch I’d recommend their curry on Tuesdays(mango is the best I’ve had). They also have a great chicken marinade salad which goes great with the lemon basil vinaigrette. I also typically get their grilled chicken wrap. For breakfast they have good croissants and English muffin sandwiches. I tried their acai and yogurt parfaits and didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth.
