Let’s just say I had another awesome appointment with Yuque! She is fun, sweet and very professional. This is my third time getting my hair done by her, and I am very pleased. It came out just the way I wanted it. She works her magic every time. Can’t wait for my next appointment. Thank you once again Yuque!

Fantastic! Joanna was great! She did my wedding make up along with the bridal party and some moms makeup! She was so fast and friendly and the makeup was perfection! Will definitely go back to her again for future events!

Extremely annoyed and disappointed at how disorganized they are.
Made an appointment for Tues at 5:30 with Yuque.
I called them several times that day just to confirm that appointment and they did not pick up.
I left them a couple voicemails as well.
I still decided to drive their because I really wanted my hair cut that day. I drove 45 minutes in traffic from Carmel Valley. When I got there the door was locked and the lady in the office below told me that no one had been there all day.
I have so many things to finish up before my trip to Italy tomorrow and this huge waste of time was a big set up that really messed up my day.
Still no response from them.

Joanna is incredible. Her and Natalie pulled off my entire wedding day hair and makeup for 9 girls. They remained calm, organized, and every one of my girls loved their hair and makeup. My bride hair and makeup stayed on so well that I actually slept in it and went to my Sunday brunch the morning after my wedding looking fabulous still and doing zero work. Joanna now has a new client for life!

I made an appointment and saw Karla. She is as sweet as can be, FAST (which I appreciate) and made my hair look amazing, shiny and healthy. Loved the color applied on my hair. All the girls there are super friendly and sweet.

UPDATE — they just tried to take my review down to save themselves the embarrassment. Pathetic that a business must go to such lengths to hide their in competencies.
If I can give this 0 stars I would. Never in my life had I watched a stylist completely ignore a clients request the way Yuque did mine! I told her I wanted SIDE BANGS THAT STARTED UNDERNEATH MY EYE BY MY CHEEKBONE. PLEASE TELL ME WHYYYY I HAVE UGLY DOG BANGS THAT ARE WAY UP BY MY FOREHEAD AND IN MY EYES?!?
When she separated the hair that would be my bangs, I thought she was going to cut underneath her fingers like every other hair stylist I’ve ever been to, but when she cut above her fingers my stomach dropped! She literally just didn’t listen to anything I said and when I started freaking out she starts laughing and apologizing at the same time like its some sort of joke! I work in an industry where my looks are important and what am I supposed to do now? I had been growing out my hair for almost a year and she destroyed it with her lack of talent and technical skill.
On top of everything it looks HORRIBLE! Every single one of my girlfriends cringed when they saw my hair and the fact that all the staff there tried to lie and say it looked good to save face is so unprofessional and WRONG! You shouldn’t lie to people’s faces to try and cover up your mistakes.
Honestly avoid this place and especially Yuque and go somewhere that actually has REAL professional training. I should’ve known when I walked in when ALL the girls that worked there had hideous hair with disgusting colors and terrible cuts. UGH NEVER AGAIN!!! Save yourself the time and stress of having a terrible haircut!

Yuquectzin did an awesome job with my hair! She listened to exactly what I wanted and it came out just as I imagined! She even fixed some chunky highlights that my previous hairdresser gave me. Definitely coming back! Highly recommend.

I would recommend this place hands down! Yuque is so great, she listened to what I wanted and took the time to explain the process. She also gave me great advice as I was a little confused. I am so happy with the end result, definitely coming back again.

I love Karla!!! She always does an amazing job on my color. Did the ombré black and dark green and I couldn’t be happier with the job she did.

Let me start by saying I hadn’t had a professional hair appointment in about 6 years since my previous stylist (whom I adore) moved away. I had been to many people before and had awful experiences so after they moved away I just didn’t trust anybody to touch my hair. I just let it grow and sometimes I’d just chop it myself. Fast forward and two kids later, my brother and sister-​in-​law were getting married and we made an appointment for her wedding hair/​makeup with Natalie. I tagged along for support.
I was so impressed with Natalie and her talent and kindness that I booked an appointment for myself later on.
Let me tell you, this place is just wonderful. First off, everybody is just so incredibly nice. Also this place is nice and private so it is great for women who are muslim or jewish and cover their hair and do not wish for males to see their hair while it is being styled. Also, they are VERY kid friendly and I greatly appreciate that. My toddler had toys to play with and sat with me either on the floor or on my lap while Natalie did her magic. We felt totally at ease in a welcoming environment.
Natalie listened carefully to what I wanted. She did a fantastic job on my hair and basically took what I had in my head and put it ON my head! No one, except my previous stylist could do that! I am simply over joyed and I will be back!
Oh and the wedding hair and make up for my sister-​in-​law on the day of was spot on as well. Natalie once again did a fantastic job and my brother’s bride looked stunning! So excited to have a place again!

Hair gods rejoice! I am a salon hopper no more! At long last I have found my new hair home. Natalie is amazing! She always gets my hair exactly the way I want it. Layers are perfectly blended and frame my face brilliantly. She takes the time to really listen to what I want and the after cut style is always killer. So glad I found this place

Hired them to do my wedding hair and makeup. Arrived late. Did a terrible job on both my hair and makeup. Somehow made me look like a transvestite. Seriously, my 12 year old niece could have done a better job.

I took advantage of the new client special (It’s basically identical to the groupon, except groupon doesn’t get a cut of the sale) and was incredibly impressed! Yuqua did an excellent job on my all over color. I told her what I wanted and we talked through the different options and she was honest with me «honestly, this will come out orange» for someone that’s not really great with hair, it was super helpful! The cut was great as well, but I have to say I think the customer service aspect was my favorite part. She chatted with me through the entire process and was friendly, which is better than some of my other experiences. Her next appointment came in, but she took her time cutting, blowdrying, and even styling my hair (Curls with a flat iron? WHO KNEW!). I have gotten so many compliments on my hair and honestly feel prettier than I have in a very long time. No doubt I’m going back!

I found a groupon for a good deal on a partial highlight and haircut/​style and called to book an appointment. Parking was a bit tricky but the salon itself is adorable. Yuqua did my hair and I love it! She took her time with the color, made it look really natural. She was really detail oriented when cutting my hair, which I really appreciate since I’m kinda picky about it. I will absolutely be back to see her!

I was researching wedding hair and make up for my November wedding when I came across glam dolls. After reading the reviews decided to join groupon and give Natalie a go. I booked my wedding hair and make up then decided in all fairness to get a haircut by Natalie so she could see the texture and length of my hair. She was there greeted me and we went right to work she listened and suggested, I could not have been happier with the cut and style, there was never a dull moment the entire time I was there she is engaging and funny, I look forward to my trial hair and make up with Natalie. Now my daughter wants her to cut and color her hair.

Joanna at Glam Dolls listened to what we all (bride, mother of bride, maid of honor, two bridesmaids) wanted for my daughter’s wedding (hair and makeup) and gave helpful hints along the way. She was on time, worked efficiently, and had us all looking great with time to spare!

Joanna did an awesome job on my hair and makeup! The salon was really close to the venue I was getting married at. I came in for my trial deciding between a half up-​do and a low up-​do. I was leaning more on the half up-​do. Joanna tried both styles on my hair. The low up-​do was super cute! She made a suggestion to place it to the side so guests can see it from the front and I couldn’t agree more. For make up, the airbrush looked great. It stayed on the rest of the day so I was confident on how I’d look for the wedding. The day of the wedding, we went over everything to make sure I didn’t change my mind on how I wanted my hair and make up. I’m glad I had Joanna do my hair and make up because she did a beautiful job! Make up and hair were fine all day even though it was a bit windy the day of the wedding. Plus, get $ 10 off with Unilocal check-​in!

Everyone is super! The work they do is amazing, Joanna was able to take my hair from an ugly washed out red brown to a beautiful dirty blonde. They are always flexible and always able to squeeze me in last minute for things! I used to be so picky with my hair and I’ve found my new hair salon! Love it here!!! And not to mention a child/​baby friendly place as well!

I have to say what a wonderful experience I had with Natalie. She gave me and a gorgeous color and a cut. My hair was long forever and ever and I decided it was time to take the plunge and get a Bob she did a perfect job with the cut being how I wanted it to look. The color as well turned out great my hair was very dark and I wanted to have a lighter brown she really listen to what I wanted and I am amazed at how different I feel and look.
I would definitely recommend recommend her and I am excited to go back again!
Parking is the only issue very very little fortunately I had morning appointment and I was able to find street parking.
