For the last few years, I’ve been attending the Comic Con convention here in San Diego. This is the first year, I was here the weekend before which allowed me to check out Farmer’s Market. After all, it’s right next to the condo that my friends and I rent out, for the month, just for Comic Con. I don’t know how to even classify what this gathering of vendors is/was. There were less than a dozen tents and it seemed like more artsy wares were being offered than what one would expect — fruits and vegetables. All in all, it wasn’t more than a few minutes to walk the entire length of the section of the street that was cordoned off for this gathering. I didn’t and you won’t need much more time than that.

I was a little disappointed, this is more of an art fair than a farmers market. There were no produce stands, and over all there were less than 20 vendors.

The market was extremely small. I was expecting an array of fresh produce and seafood but got a couple of vendors with subpar produce. The food also did not look appetizing as well. I hope that this market has time to grow in popularity for others and more vendors so it could strive more.

I give a «5 star rating» because I live nearby and I love that I can walk to a Farmer’s Market. BESTDEALS: the flower seller. Very inexpensive. I love having fresh flowers in the house and I always pick them up at this Farmer’s Market. Other than that, there are the usual food vendors and people hawking other stuff(which I usually don’t buy cuz I hate cluttering up my life with«stuff»). All in all, a nice place to visit — but no need to go out of your way for it. It’s small, I know. But it’s Mine-Mine-Mine.

I stopped in at this Farmers Market on a Sunday morning since it was a short walk from my hotel. I was hoping to find lots of local fall produce and homemade/handmade goodies to take back to Los Angeles. What I found was a tourist trap joke of a market. It was a pretty small market overall. There were only 2 – 3 local produce/food stands and the rest of the vendors were either(1) selling clothing/jewelry that looked like they should be at a cheap flea market, or(2) sketchy-looking food vendors. I zipped through everything in under 10 minutes and bought nothing.
