I was all set for great pizza and I find a juice bar? What’s that all about? I’m highly disappointed! Where’s the working man supposed to go for lunch now?

Good pizza, a lot of cheese, not too much sauce. Crispy crust. The place is really nice and the parking is reasonable. Anyplace that offers magazines is my kind of place.

CLOSED Work close by and went there today for lunch. Signs are still up but furniture, counter, ovens and most wall items are all gone. Looks like they are still moving out. Oh well, another fine place affected by this long running bad economy. Thanks Washington.

Extreme Pizza gets 4 stars(pizza-3& service-5…so avg stars 4) The service was exceptional and the staff were quite friendly and patient with my indecisive, 20 questions self. I was a virgin to this place so the variety of pizza was a tad bit overwhelming. I got the extreme half & half– Buffalo Chicken and Yard Sale as well as the Fresh Track salad. The food looked and smelled aaaaaaamazing… the aromas just took over my car and my tummy was very impatient the entire car ride home. Once and I got home and opened the pizza the veggies looked d-lish…and then came the first bite… dun dun dun! At the pizza was ALRIGHT… not bad and definitely not the worst pizza. The toppings tasted great but the bread was just not cutting it for. However i did devour the salad but you cant really go wrong with salad. Overall great in house service and OK pizza… so Extreme Pizza may not be so extreme but definitely a better choice that Papa Johns! Later Dudes…

Walked in and there were three employees by the counter. One was on the phone taking the order, the other two were just hanging out and talking, and ignored me for at least five minutes while I stood there like an idiot. Ordered a slice of Railroad Grade and was unimpressed. Thin and semi-burned crust, barely any sauce. Overall not that great. +1 star for having four beers on tap.

When I travel, I like to try the local fare. Embassy Suites by Convention Center recommended this place. Ordered simple pepperoni and cheese pizza, buffalo wings and cheese twist bread. Got an odd shaped, extremely salty and tough pizza with hardly any pepperonis; package boneless BBQ wings(ordered bone in buffallo wings and extra buffallo sauce(did not get, but was charged for it)); and the dryiest bread sticks with a sour flavor. This was delivered to hotel with no plates or utentsils. By far one of the worst I have ever had. I should of just ordered the same from the hotel room service… I am sure it would have been much better.

This place used to have great boneless chicken wings, but now it’s like they went to the grocery store and got frozen Tyson appitizer balls. I ordered a dozen thinking they were still the portions and sauce I remembered… Wrong! They literally gave me 12 balls, no fresh buffalo sauce either! I could have bought a bag at the store for the same price! So disappointing. then the customer service went down once they learned I was using my groupon!

I took one star for the service. It is not very friendly. However the pizza was good with really cheap price it is around 4 for one slice but the slice is really big one it is enough for one meal :)

This is my favorite pizza. I had the ragging roster slice and FRESH is the best way to describe it. Try it!

WORSTEXPERIENCEEVER. I was so excited to see they have a gluten free offer. So I placed my order online… then waited. After an hour I called, only to be told the driver had come by and I wasn’t here. Not true. I confirmed the address– correct– and phone– there was a typo. So they came by and called, but didnt come to the door. I asked if they could come back– the response I got was«fine, but it will be a long time». And then he hung up. I called back, someone else answered, and I was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. Heres the thing, the pizza could be great. But I wouldn’t know. If the person who answered the phone hadn’t been such a complete JERK, I would have waited however long for the order to be delivered(30 minutes, an hour, I’m not in a hurry). But I’ve NEVER had such HORRIBLE customer service in my life. So I’m done. Never again will I try this place, and I suggest that if you want prompt and courteous service in a timely manner that you avoid it too.

I’ve eaten here before and the pizza was ok wanted to check it out again before I wrote a review. Well unfortunately I got there a little early 10:15 and they don’t open to 11:00. So unfortunately I couldn’t try them. So why am I writting a review? Well I went next door to Great Wall Express Chinese Food(they were open) and ordered some food. Since they weren’t open I figured that Extreme Pizza wouldn’t mind me using their outdoor seating. Well I was wrong, I had sat down for about one minute and the manager came out and shooed me away like I was a transient. I guess I don’t understand why he cared so much if he wasn’t open. I almost told him I wanted to eat at his place but he doesn’t open till eleven. But I didn’t. Instead I just walked away sat down on some grass about fifty feet away and made a mental note not to ever go back to Extreme Pizza again.

This place gets one star mostly because I ordered a gluten free pizza, but they mixed it up and gave me whole wheat crust instead. It’s not worth the overpriced pizza to be sick all day. But even if they had given me what I ordered, the pizza is terrible for the high prices. If this was the last gluten free pizza place on Earth, I wouldn’t eat here.

I am a big fan of the Extreme Pizza that delivers in the Mt. Soledad area, so I decided to try this location out when I realized they delivered to my residence in Hillcrest. I have ordered from here twice, and I have been disappointed. Twice. The first time I ordered some breadstick twist and a large pie. The breadsticks are disappointing, I expected CHEESY breadsticks not just dough with what seemed like a few pieces of shredded cheese twisted inside that added no flavor or texture. My pie arrived lukewarm, but I was so hungry I ate it anyway. The 2nd time I placed an order was this past weekend, and I used one of their coupons for an $ 8.99 medium cheese pizza and a 2-liter of soda. It took over an hour, and this time my pizza was actually cold. COLD. This location is in Point Loma!!! I live a few miles away! I shouldn’t have to MICROWAVE my pizza when it arrives to make it edible. I don’t know if they were just busy that night, if my pizza was forgotten, or what… but I am completely disappointed with their service despite their pizzas actually being tasty. I bet they’re even better when they’re hot! I’m going to try and find another pizza joint that delivers in my area.

I was working close by and we were absolutely dead so I had someone go on a food run to this place. We got a few slices of the veggie and pepperoni pizzas. The slices are thin with what I think is the right amount of dough. If I’m in the area again I would give them a try to see what everything else tastes like. Overall: –Pros: Good ingredients, lots of other things in the area if your friends want something else –Cons: None at the moment

So. you have premade dough that you put in some kind of microwave-toaster oven contraption. How dare you call yourself pizza… I’m from Jerzey, Son… we know what pizza is, and this cloned gmo place is a fraud… Extremely bad…

I thought I’d give them a try because of their healthier wheat crust, so placed an order online for pickup. Minutes later I got a call back saying they were out of the wheat crust. If I felt like splurging on a white, refined crust I would have gone with Pizza Hut or something, so I suggested they upgrade me to the 12″ Gluten Free crust at the same cost, otherwise I would just cancel my order. She put me on hold to ask ‘the kitchen’ and some guy picked up the phone and explained they haven’t had wheat crust in awhile, and he’s been meaning to tell his boss to update it online, which was irrelevant to me.(btw when you’re put on hold, there is a recording promoting their wheat and gluten free crusts). Anyhow, he said they couldn’t accomodate my request, so I politely canceled my order, and I will most likely never call again. The end.

A couple of daily deal coupons and a craving for pizza lead us to Extreme Pizza. We ordered the following large pizzas… *Kickin’ Chicken(Chicken marinated in a spicy ginger peanut sauce, scallions, fontina cheese, fresh cilantro & mozzarella): Good, although lacking a little flavor. We were left wondering if they really marinated the chicken in the peanut sauce. *Railroad Grade(Italian sausage, pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, red onions, fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella & cheddar): This one was tasty with plenty of toppings. I really liked the finely sliced red onions that topped it. I appreciate that Extreme Pizza doesn’t skimp on the toppings like others. Also appreciate their fast and friendly service. We called in our order and it was ready in 15 minutes! You can also order on-line. It is located in a small crowded strip mall which can be a pain to find a parking spot. But don’t worry, they also deliver. Our first time here, but we will be back to try some of their other pizza pies like the Peace in the Middle East(topped w/hummus & feta among other things) and Mr. Pestato Head(topped w/potatoes & pesto).

I think I’ve got a new fav place for pizza delivery. It’s about as extreme as pizza can get without jumping out of a plane or hanging from a bungee chord. The list of toppings they offer are as long as Charlie Sheens rap sheet with flavors like potato pesto, bbq chicken, and California cactus. It’s pretty tasty even though the flavor we ordered(Mr. Pestatohead) was far from a traditional. From previous experiences though I can vouch that the more mainstreams are pretty delicious as well. They have a sophisticated online ordering system too making it easy to punch in your info without having to call and wait to speak to an order taker. They came to our apartment lickity split so all in all they’re delivery service gets high marks from me. It’s priced a little higher than average, but they do have a whole heap more to offer than the norms. If you’re in the mood for pizza and don’t want to get up out of the ass groove you’ve made into your couch this pizza is extremely worth it.

I was staying at a hotel by the San Diego convention center. Was tired of room service and didn’t feel like going out. The concierge told me about Extreme Pizza. I ordered on line and in less than 45 minutes it was delivered. Great pizza delivery and much better than the other chains! Buffalo wings were great as well but a bit soggy — it’s what I would expect on a delivery. Good alternative to room service and if you lived in the area, a good pizza choice.
