Dennis Uniform

Customer service terrible– been in line for 20 minutes and cant get any help on the floor. One person working register on a sale day with the manager in the back chatting loudly on the phone. I wish schools would consider different vendor.

This review isn’t for the San Diego location but for Dennis Uniforms overall. (I’m not sure where they are headquartered but I live in San Diego so figured it was best to review these folks!)
I use this place for my son’s uniforms. A number of people on Unilocal talk about poor customer service but I haven’t experienced that at all! In fact, when the wrong size came for my son, I called customer service (spoke with Marissa) and she told me that I likely pushed the back button before confirming my order which defaults all sizes. She then offered to pay for shipping to return the items and offered to send out the right items for free. Clearly this was my mistake and they are making it right. Thank you Marissa! I’ve also never had an issue placing an order over the phone. 5 stars.

Don’t like the shipping policy. If they are out of a size they will ship it to you but charge you a fee (except for two months in the summer). They have no idea when they will receive more of what you need in the store and won’t hold it for you or call you when it arrives. They are pretty much forcing you to pay the price to have it shipped. If you add in the already high prices for the clothes and add shipping on top you feel like you were taken. $ 30 for a single school pair of boys shorts? Ugh. True Grits is much better, they will ship it to your school for free.

If not for the rude customer service, terrible quality control and outrageous prices of have given it five stars. But the sales people are rude, the quality control is terrible — crooked logos, pants that read the same size but are an inch or two different, and the prices are ridiculous.
For the past nine years I’ve left Dennis Uniform feeling taken advantage of. I’m finished with it.

not a very reliable and responsible operation! very inept people operate this business. whatever you do don’t use their shipping service! they have a limited supply of sizes. I’ll ask our school to change shops so we don’t have to go through this again.

I just had to leave a review for this place. Noticed I’m the first one too!
We went to Dennis Uniform on Saturday the 17^th an hour before closing. It was pretty crowded, maybe one reason being that for the month of January, all purchases are 10% off! A definite bonus for those of parents who have to buy expensive uniforms!
So my daughter goes to a local Catholic School. We either get her uniforms from Royal Blazers or Dennis Uniform. I always go to Royal Blazers since it is closer, but I ALWAYS get bad service there! There is young people working there who seem too lazy to even help or even want to work. So this was only my second time going to Dennis Uniform. My husband went for me once in the past too. I have to say, both times I have went, I received excellent customer service. If they don’t have an item in stock, like for instance a polo, they’ll go in the back and put a logo on a shirt in the size you need! If that isn’t isn’t excellent service, then I don’t know what is! The employees are super nice and willing to help and always making sure you are ok and getting everything you need. I am never going back to Royal Blazers! I’ll make the 25 minute drive to Dennis instead from now on!
