Everyone in the shop is really friendly. I come here to buy all my uniforms, great selection and price. To my surprise, they also do silk screening! They were able to print my business logo onto the shirt of my choice, and it looks great. Definitely coming back for more silk screen designs.

Actually friendly. I’ve been shopping at various police supply stores in San Diego county since the late 80’s and a rather large portion of them have terrible customer service. I can understand wanting to see your ID if you’re purchasing a controlled items but when it’s just boots, who wants to be questioned about who you are, who do you work for, why are you here?, etc. At California Uniforms they just let you walk in, shop, and purchase. No hassle, no lengthy questions until they’re satisfied that you’re qualified to be their customer. I get why some shops feel they need to do that but it loses my business with them, especially when I’m just buying something innocuous. I’ve never had that issue at California Uniforms which is probably why (after almost 30 years of being a customer) I still come here.

OMG! Uniforms are a scary thing to buy. I went to Cal Uniforms yesterday with my hubby and there were too many choices. We asked Carl for help and he knew everything. He brought out two different kinds of slacks and two different kinds of shirts specific to my husband’s occupation. He described each complete with pros and cons. Then he brought both to try on. It was a win win situation. Hubby tried and then bought. It was an easy selection with all the choices and information that Carl supplied. He even had some interesting stories to tell. Fun shopping expedition.

My new part-​time job suggested that I go here for the specific pants that they require employees to wear. I did that, and got exactly what was needed. I left them off to be hemmed, and will pick them up later this week.
