CVS Pharmacy

Overall 2.5 stars. Conveniently located off the 56/​Black Mt. Road, it’s by the PQ USPS. I only come here to pick up meds on emergency when hubby or I are sick cuz they are seriously overpriced.
You can sign up for their club card for some savings. But since I hardly come here, I always forget to use my card lol Baaaaaad Princess Money.
I’ve never had bad service here or any screw ups. Decent local pharmacy, but the high pricing brings their rating down a notch.

Based upon my medical conditions, I have been with many different pharmacies over the years. In that time, I have seen some some really good ones and some really bad ones; this location, contrary to some of these reviews, really does have pharmacy staff that do care and do a great job. Everyone from Ryan, Kelly, Richard, Nico, and Samantha (and all of the others) have always been of tremendous assistance to me and always treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism. They help manage all of my PAs, work with me consistently on my crazy schedule, and without fail always try and find a way to make sure I am covered even when my insurance plays a game. I find that people are often more impatient than needed and unfairly place the blame of their own insurance not covering a medication on the staff at CVS. Perhaps I am an anomaly and my multiple times a month experiences aren’t the norm; I don’t believe this to be the case however. I have nothing but great things to say about this group of people and this location. There is a CVS about 2 minutes from my house but I still choose to go to this store which is further away. That should say something.,

So sick of waiting. The pharmacy is incredibly slow. I came in on the first day and waited 20 minutes just for them to tell me they were out of my prescription. On top of that another cvs was supposed to transfer my prescription and had not. The girl at this location called them and said she couldn’t get through. I called right after her and got through. It felt like they were half a@@ing.
I return the next day as told, another 20 minute wait just to update my insurance information? You gotta be kidding me.
I will have to transfer elsewhere.

Horrible customer service. How are you going to process someone else’s photos who is not even waiting there over someone who is there waiting for a passport photo? Then she leaves to talk to people at the cash register and forgets about you.

Horrible costumer service! I will not be coming back. Waiting in line was a mess they waited until there was 10people in line before a 2^nd person came. On top of that when I went to check out the lady was rude and rang up my item wrong when I told her the price was wrong she huffed and puffed when she had to go check. It was their fault for wrong marking not mine! I later came back to return it because that item was not worth the price! She also placed her hand up and to me to to wait?! What kinda of people are you hiring? CVS needs to get it together! P. S the store is dirty too

Called to have my Rx transferred by 1:30, came in at 2:30 and they still hadn’t called my other pharmacy to have my Rx moved over. Then I proceeded to wait 40 minutes to have them call and get my Rx filled…

Take your prescription to the CVS near Von’s in Mira Mesa. Once again while we had to «wait until tomorrow after 3:30 because we will need to have it sent to us… we are out», after lots of difficulty, we had the prescription switched to MM and it was ready in minutes. Had we originally had the doctor send the RX to MM my husband would not have had to spend last night in pain.

Wow, how can the pharmacy, or any group of humans for that matter be sooooo incredibly incompetent. The staff was inefficient, rude and had a lack of overall desire to even meet the bare minimum of their job description or desire to preform at any level above atrocious.
I’m sure they all must hate their job based on their attitude and performance but give me a break! Get a grip, the economy sucks, you hang out in air conditioned comfort, and have a paying job that doesn’t force you to clean porta-​potties or throw up. Boo hoo, get over yourself and DO YOUR JOB!

I have given them numerous chances to fill Rx & they fail every single time. Never have it done on time. Have my address from 7 years ago even though I gave them a new insurance card & address. So Incompetent to put it nicely.

This store just has a bad feel about it. The carpet is dingy, not a well laid out store. The phamacist however was pleasant, the bright spot to my visits.

One of the pharmacy techs started arguing with me about my opinion on my prescription. I had talked to plenty of providers and went to school myself, so I didn’t appreciate her condescending attitude. If she didn’t agree with my decision, the least she can do is ask if I wanted to speak with the pharmacist and get another opinion. They also made me wait in two lines because even though my doctor sent in the prescription, I have to go to the «drop off» line instead of «pick up» line. This is confusing. At least make the signs to be «pick up recurring orders» and «drop off/​pick up new orders».

People are nice, they have good prices. Really hard to beat a big box of wine for under ten dollars, ENJOY
