This is the 2nd annual Ciclosdias event in San Diego, and I have to say this event was a major improvement from their first. Last year, this event was organized on 30th Street in the South Park region. This year, Ciclosdias was set up in Pacific Beach, closing off Garnet St after Ingraham, and Cass Street. The event is free of charge. What I love about this event is that it’s extremely family & pet friendly. The event’s main purpose is to promote cycling in San Diego, but many attend with all types of bikes, long boards, skateboards & strollers. My husband and I were really excited for Ciclosdias this year because of the location. Pacific Beach is a very bike-friendly area, but also lends the perfect weather and location for an event such as this. During Ciclosdias, several streets are shut down for several hours in order to allow people to bike, walk, or skateboard freely. A ton of vendors, bands, and restaurants all participate, making this an awesome community, family, and pet friendly event. This is the day to enjoy SD’s weather and city with the family.
