Chevron Stations

I am fine with the $ 14.99 price for one of the cheaper car washes, but my pet peeve is the whole procedure. I always intend on giving a few bucks for a tip, or a fiver. But… they didn’t talk to me!!! I was reading the newspaper waiting for them to finish. I glanced up, and nobody was at my car. I figured it was done, but wasn’t sure, as the door was open. I kept reading, thinking… since I’m the ONLY PERSON here, surely they’ll tell me when it’s done.
Finally about 10 minutes later, somebody gets into the car, slams the door, and drives it fast over to the parking spaces, gets out, and slams the door again (like he’s angry). I asked if it was done, and he nodded and handed me the keys. It was all so… rude. Perhaps the guy didn’t know English well, and that might explain the lack of explaining to me the car was done, or whatever. Either way, it made the decision on the tip easy enough — I didn’t give him one.
The car was washed, waxed and vacuumed well, so I have no complaints there. It’s just annoying to have bad customer service.

No change to the actual stars! Still great, a little pricey.
I seem to be *known* by face now when I go in here– still great service.
A couple of weeks ago there was a little rain and I walked there, the guys in here couldn’t believe I walked in the rain! Seriously, a little rain is nothing on what I am used to walking in :)
It’s embarrassing that some days when I can’t be doing with going far that I come here twice!

If you like being robbed, or dealing with complete jacktards, you’ll LOVE this place.
I live nearby this place and have gone to it a total of 3 times. Each time it has gotten worse and worse, till finally I got to the point where I literally called the two uneducated idiots behind the counter fucktards and walked out.
#1 Go in ask them to give me $ 40 on #4. they end up putting it on a different pump. Excusable
#2 Go in, get some stuff to take on a trip up to Vegas, they charge me like $ 20 for something that should only cost $ 5… turns out the morons behind the counter charged me ten times for one item, then I had to walk them through the receipt and point out that I did not buy 11 sunflower seeds.
#3 Walk in, ask them to charge $ 35 on pump 12. Card was approved, but the guy behind the counter had to go to talk to the manager because he fucked up. Comes back and says I have to run the card again. douche bags charged me $ 35 for something, then charged me $ 35 for gas… so I walk out of there trying to figure out wtf went wrong. The first guy apparently did not get the proper training in using the cash register… which is like high school 101. His manager, probably someone that just came off of the street and said that it was a preapproval for $ 35 and that I was in fact not charged for it… looking at my credit card statement, of two charges of $ 35 at the same Chevron proves that in fact I was charged.
I will never go there again… I will spend the extra couple of cents to go to the shell that is a little farther away… apparently Shell discriminates in their hiring, they apparently decide to hire people that know how to think and are willing to work with a customer as opposed to Chevron who will hire any warm body that applies with their company.
Again, if you like being ROBBED, go here. it is really a great experience. My sphincter is still a little loose from the last experience. A reach around would have helped make the experience a little more pleasurable.
