I am renting and its one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made in my life by moving here. Who would ever buy from this place and pay over $ 300 in HOA fees with plumbing the problems that are constantly ongoing has that’s highway robbery. All the neighbors are pretty chill and its quite it’s…#hoa board members#… whatever happened to the good old days were people mind their own freaking business!

Casa De Alvarado has been in change as of November 2011. They have new management and a new board of directors. New improvements are happening every day. Locks have been installed on the Laundry Rooms and Pool area. Fences have been repaired. Trees have been trimmed or cut down for safety reasons. The parking and street is being resurfaced this summer. The Laundry Rooms are getting a remodel and security is being beefed up. This condo complex is very near to SDSU so a lot have been rented to students who don’t respect the property and their neighbors. This is why security and management have such a hard time. Things are changing for the better fast! I hope owners respect that and are more careful who they rent to.

Regarding«Casa De Alvarado» INGENERAL. If I could give negative stars, I would give negative 976. YEA –976.9 to be exact. This is by far the worst apartments I have ever decided to sign a lease with. The security will give you a noise complaint or tow your car before they catch a thief breaking in and/or stealing your car. I’ve lost 1,000’s of dollars and had the police @ my door more than solicitors. OH and speaking of soliciting… You get to encounter that about 300 out of the 365 days in the year. So be ready to sleep with one eye open permanently because I’m in the middle of it!
