I’m here every other day at different times of the days. Breakfast: monster biscuit combo with orange juice!!! Lunch/dinner: western bacon cheeseburger with regular fries. BOMB Service is always fast and food is always hot. I prefer this location than the one in Mira Mesa.

Good staff working here. The ultimate care package campaign is a little confusing and I thought that I’d ordered it but did not. You have to specifically say a large Tex next combo. You can’t just say ultimate care package combo.

20 mins in the drive thru waiting to get 1 item!!! People are turning off their cars while they wait. Ridiculous!!! I called to see what the hold up is and the lady says they have a new cook on the grill &3 people dining inside & they have to teach the new person how to cook. I mean if you have people waiting 20 mins in the drive thru wouldn’t you just say ok let me get on the grill & help the new person??? Absurd!!!

I was hungry and we ordered 2 teriyaki burgers. I wasn’t happy with my burger. Taste blah. I wanted fried zucchini. I got the worst ever. Too doughy and barely find the zucchini. That’s the sad part when Mexicans makes your American food, it turns lousy. I dint thunk I will eat in this place again.

Does it really take 15 min for chicken tenders?!? And fast food workers want a damn pay raise? Give me a break

You know your life sucks(via Unilocal) when you poststwo fast food reviews back to back. If Wendy’s has the best chicken nuggets in town then Carl’s has THEBEST fried zucchini in town. Sorry, but we grew up eating these fried little things so perhaps that’s another reason I love them so. Trick is to ask them to fry a new batch for you when you order. Forget the eye rolls or the sighs you might get. Just ask b/c a freshly fried batch of ANYTHING tastes better. And I like their ranch dressing too here. Got the famous start and requested extra onions, mayo, and hold their special sauce(not a fan of ketchup). The burger was pretty ‘meh’ and I couldn’t really tell if there were extra onions and mayo. Plus it was just a sloppily put together burger. But gosh the fried zucchini always hits the spot if they’re nice and hot. Give these things a try if you never have.

Literally down the hill from my house so for the distance and the affordable fast food price, I would give this location 4 stars. We usually order through the drive thru but the few times we ate here, its always clean and service is fast. For a place right off the freeway ramp, its never too crowded. Overall, we like Carls Jr and eat it a lot. #datbreakfastdoe lol

For the fifth time in five weeks, I stopped by the 24 hour window around 11:30 on the warm evening to order a shake, and they were out… Again. Why even have three item on the menu when it’s never available… How can you always«run out» of this? Not maintenance but simple supply and demand? And could say least suggest a dessert instead of just saying«sorry, we’re out». Disappointing customer service from an otherwise decent food chain.

So I work nearby and every once and a while would stop by hear after work, never have I had a good experience, but the last time was the final straw. I ordered a 5piece chicken tenders, three came to me cold and not tasting right, and the other two weren’t even tenders, it was like a smashed chicken patty cut in two, I could not believe it, it was late already thou and it took me 15 minutes to get home, so I didn’t go back until the next day, I went back at night and found the guy who handed me the messed up tenders, of course he doesn’t speak English, but he’s the manager, come on men, I guess I’ll try in the morning, but don’t go here, bad service, bad food, and I usually love Carls Jr.

Have you met Adam? Adam is the drive-thru attendant today and boy does he exude bad customer service. I get it, their intercom has an echo but as an employee, pair it with better courtesy. Not Adam though. The boy was rude and sounded condescending and does not follow through with the customer’s order. Homie couldn’t even muster a hello or a good afternoon.

After visiting a handful of Carl’s Jrs(Carls Jrses for plural?), I have learned that not all Carl’s Jrs are operated equal and I am compelled to write this review. This location rocks. The breakfast menu is expansive, which I did not realize until I visited other local locations. Also this location serves Hardee’s biscuits, which will bring you closer to heart disease with every delicious bite. There has been one mishap with my order, namely one time I asked for«two plan sausage biscuits» to-go. I’ve seen this option on coupons but I didn’t see it on the menu. I got home and found… plain biscuits, no sausage. That was disappointing, so if I try to do that again I have to be explicit in my desires for a patty of ground pig offal wedged into the biscuits. Other than that one time everything else has been excellent. I like their burgers, I like their fries, I like the friendliness of the location. Seriously — when Starbucks ran out of drink holders, the person working her had no problem handing me one even though she knew I hadn’t ordered any drinks. How cool is that? Best Carl’s Jr. on either side of the 15.

Either wait for a coupon or go online to print one. There’s always a deal going on. I had no problems on this visit — fast service, hot burger, crispy fries, correct order. Green Burrito is connected, but I’ve never tried anything on their menu. Drive thru is open 24 hours.

It’s Carl’s Jr. Seriously, it’s like every other Carl’s Jr I’ve been to and this one even has a playground for kids. In fact, it’s quite nicer than some of the other Carl’s in SD because panhandlers don’t hang out at this one while taking a lunch break from their 8 hour shift on the center island of Midway and Rosecrans. For that alone, this place gets 3 stars. Here’s the thing I learned about the robot kiosk you can order from if you’re misanthropic like I am: you can add interesting extras to your order for a little bit more. How about a fried chicken patty; no bread, no sandwich — just a patty. Sure! Just add 50 cents or a dollar. Do you know what this means? You could make a heart-stopping $ 6 burger w/13 chicken patties and fries in it. I don’t understand why Carl’s isn’t marketing this new initiative to all the people clamoring for bespoke hamburgers.

Service is okay, but they could do a better job of cleaning the tables off. Burgers are okay. I do like the Portobello Six Dollar burger, tons better than Mickey D’s version. This location has a Green Burrito inside and I do like the crispy burritos too. Mmm greasy goodness. The chicken burrito with the green sauce is ooey gooey goodness and rather big. Service can be hit or miss.

If you would have to pick a fast food place, I suppose Carl’s isn’t a bad option. Their burgers taste more like the ones you’d make at home than any other chains out there. I will say that I love the fact that Carl’s and Green Burrito are in the same building. This isn’t for all locations but most. It tends to curb that fix for all tastes… Mexican or American. I have found that lately I’ve been craving their crispy burritos. I’m not sure if I’m pregnant or not but the cravings are something that I continue to think about. These are grease filled tortillas with some meat and cheese. Yeah, I know I make it sound appetizing. I know understand what my wife was feeling with her pregnancies. Anyway, I’m not a huge fast food fan but for a quick fix, Carl’s isn’t a bad choice.
