Recently, I needed to move my office servers into a data center. As I am not an IT guy, you can imagine my trepidation, my concern and my overall nervousness about this. However, CariNet’s Mike Dowdy walked me through the whole process of moving my office servers into the cloud. He was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and also important, he was empathetic and caring as to my plight. I felt like the only customer that he was dealing with, even though, of course, that was not the case. I highly recommend CariNet.

I came to CariNet a few months ago to see if they could help us with our rapidly expanding infrastructure. I work for a large MMO gaming company and we are always looking for the best vendors for hosting the game application servers. CariNet has gone above and beyond what most vendors usually do — and with little effort on my part. I did a test case with 2 servers to see how they perform — they did excellent in terms of speed, networking and setup. I then asked if we could clone one of these servers to others, and they had no issues helping with that. The speed and quality at which they have been able to bring servers online for us has quickly made them one of our go-​to hosting providers. I mostly work with Mike D — but everyone I have worked with has been so helpful especially their datacenter team. I come from working in the hosting industry for several years, and they out-​perform some of the larger companies I’ve worked at by far. We now have a few hundred servers with CariNet in a short time and as an operations engineer, the team there helps make my job a lot easier. Thanks for everything so far and keep up the great work!

I have had a poor customer service experience with these folks. I have sent repeated notes to their support team advising them of a SPAMMER on their network. Yet, the SPAM continued to come in. We finally had to block at least one of their IP ranges, 66.240.192.0/​18. I am happy to provide logs. If you are considering hosting your e-​mail there, do note at least one of their IP’s are on several IP reputation black lists.
