Absolutely the worst repairman. He took nearly an hour to remove the front panel on a Bosch dishwasher because he didn’t have the correct tools. Once he took it off he looked inside momentarily, said that it was the pump without checking anything, then gave a $ 300 plus estimate. We paid him $ 50 to get rid of him and called another repairman who suggested that we get a new dishwasher and not waste money fixing this one. It was nice to find someone honest. Never call Budget.

I called Budget Appliance Service last June for a built-​in microwave that wasn’t heating. The guy came out (very rude) and replaced a part that cost $ 199. He charged me $ 190 in labor so with tax, parts and labor, it cost $ 407 to repair. Here it is, 7 months later and the microwave is not working again. I called Budget, told them my issue and that I was charged over $ 400 to have it fixed and its not working again. His response was «we have a 90 day warranty on parts and it doesn’t matter if it was $ 200 or $ 400, it’s my problem!» He wanted to charge me $ 50 to go back out and look at it. I told him forget it! I will never use this company again and am going to blast their name all over the internet! Rudest company I’ve ever dealt with!

The day after we moved in the Microwave/​Range hood over the stove popped and sparked. The result was that the unit no longer heated but everything else worked. Being loath to replace the unit, I called BAS and Karl was able to come out the very next afternoon. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a blown diode. He replaced it and the unit heated food again. Can’t ask for any better service. Cost was half of what a new unit would have been.

If I could give this company less than one star I would. I called them yesterday as my refrigerator was not working. The Freezer was fineThe man arrived, did not intrioduce himself was inmcredibly rude, short tempered and impatient, made a mess in my kitchen and my refrigerator is still not totally cooling. I was te, ted to dispute the charge ipon my Credit card and may still do so. A terrible experience!

My appliances have a few miles on them. My oven went out, so I called budget appliance. Last time my refrigerator problem was fixed smoothly and the price was great. I decided to go with budget appliance again. Same good service and fair price. On time and always clean and polite. Thanks again!

Very unprofessional and lack of response. He was to order parts and call me back… after 3 weeks I called and he was confused and then asked me to call and remind him of an appointment made so he could show up. Not impressed!!! (Ariston Dryer)

If I could give less than one star I would! We have used them before and the younger guy who came out fixed the fridge problem and was very explanatory! The older man who said owns the company came out and asked me for my blow dryer!!! He said the fridge problem was because «I» left the freezer door open and wanted to charge $ 160.00 to defrost (Probably with my blow-​dryer.) We ended up paying the service charge fee and got a second opinion from APEX. Apex was amazing and it was the starter. I would never recommend Budget again.

I highly recommend this company! Karl was available to come out the next day and he arrived on time. He was able to fix our dryer and it is now working great! I called several companies and this was the only one that charged a service fee of $ 49.95 and applied that cost to the repairs. I even had a different company come out and tell me he couldn’t fix it because nothing was wrong with our dryer! Karl knew exactly what was wrong and fixed it for a reasonable rate. 5 stars!

When we moved to San Diego and the house was full of SubZero, Viking and U-​line appliances I thought that — no only it would be a nightmare to find a a good technician when needed but they would charge us an arm and a leg. Until I found Karl with Budget Appliance Service. He is honest, knowledgeable, and fast. I would recommend his services for any appliance big or small you might have. He will tell you what part you need, and the cost up front and its up to you to go ahead or not with project. I don’t trust my appliances to anybody else.

They missed three appointments, three days in a row. When I called on the to let them know I wanted to cancel, no apology no attempt to save the deal or relationship the guy on the phone just hung up.
Rude — don’t waste your time.

Had a problem with my AC unit at my house. When I called them they answer the phone right away and showed up for their appointment on time. The guy that was super friendly and found the problem on my unit instantly. Other places quoted me twice as much as they did it for and my A/​C has been blowing cold air ever since. Can’t say enough about these guys, saved me money and time.

Quite honestly, I don’t know what other people are talking about here. Considering my experience, the negative reviews seem like about some other company, not Budget Appliance, which I used a couple of times to fix my appliances. The prices to fix appliance are not cheap, and they are pretty much the same across the board, no matter what company you hire. I found Budget prices reasonable and service reliable. Also, the guy who came out was very nice and friendly.

PLEASE READ — THIS COMPANY IS UNETHICAL
I found this company on the internet. When I called to schedule an appointment I told the gentleman I had three appliances I wanted looked at. He gave me a price for a service call of $ 80.00. When the technician arrived, he looked at the frig, gave me a price of $ 109.95 to adjust the door. I agreed. He also «looked» at the other two appliances (stove and dishwasher). He did absolutely NO WORK on either one. The technician notified me he would be charging me a «diagnostic charge» of $ 80.00 for each. I told him how absurd this was. He called the office and the office told him to charge me $ 59.95. After much discussion, I ended up paying $ 169.90 for the technician to adjust a refrigerator door and get him out of my house! OUTRAGEOUS!!!
I will never use this company again and I will tell everyone I know about my experience in hopes of keeping other people from making the same mistake.

We had to reschedule with them 3 times. After the 3rd time, we waited the window of time that the guy said he would be at our house and we got fed up. He did not call ahead to say he was going to be late. These guys seem disorganized and were not considerate of our time.
