Drinks are always spot on! The baristas are really friendly and patient when you are still trying to decide what you would like. The drive-thru has a tendency to line up out in the street during peak hours. Forget starbucks!

Ok, so the best drink ever really is pretty damn good. Aside from the college age girls working/texting/messaging and laying on the chairs this joint serves up some really good java and the muffins were very fresh.

I always recommend coming into the actual shop instead of stay out on Garnet. It’s crazy out there and people actually form a line from across the street and cut you to get into the drive through. The Best Drink Ever is their signature take away but, all of their drinks and foods are awesome. The ACAI cup is good. The baked goods are real fresh and good. The ONLY problem with this place is the sheer volume of people serviced in such a small establishment. This can create lines at the drive-through(like I said, makes you wait out on Garnet and actually can impact traffic) and the lines inside aren’t completely horrible but there is little room to actually wait around while grabbing your drink. Overall I dig this place. They are always open on time, are insanely nice and friendly for such a crazy stressful job, and always manage to make me happy.

Being from Nor Cal ! I luckily have Dutch Bros. But they some competition down here at SD, the style of coffee is similar to Dutch Bros. Drive-Thru service and the customer service is. The coffee here also is like addicting has this flavor satisfies your brain. I got the best drink ever and it did not disappoint. I like the customization there is.

Better buzz coffee is a great alternative to starbucks in my personal opinion. This particular shop is small, but the service is really fast and friendly. If you like coffee– not hazelnut syrup with coffee in it… try it out. My cappuccino tasted great. Not too much foam, and enough coffee to satisfy my caffination cravings.

Love this place! The baristas are always so helpful and nice. My favorite iced tea in San Diego is the Party In The Jungle from here. Highly recommend Better Buzz!

The«best drink ever» really is the best drink ever at this PB location. The«best drink ever» consists of Americano, cream and vanilla, which if you ask me, there is no better combination than that! The coffee is flavorful, not too creamy or too sweet. Makes a nice treat on a sunny day! I also have had Better Buzz coffee at Fashion Valley, but I wasn’t too impressed. It just didn’t make me feel like it was the best drink ever. The vanilla flavoring was really there and slightly watered down. Since it is a chain, I do expect more of a consistency from them through their various locations. For PB4 stars! Ps. This place is drive through only! I don’t believe there are any seatings. And this place is slightly hard to find because it’s tucked into a corner. So cruise slowly, besides, you’re in SD!

I ordered a Honey Lavender Latte. The girl taking orders was like…“umm we don’t have that… we have lavender, we can just put some in your latte.” I was like #dumb but whatever. So my friend and I both got one. One iced and one hot. I think they may have been trying to poison us with the lavender. Like there was enough lavender in our drinks to start a candle making factory. Maybe order something else? eeeesh.

Please open a location in SoCal(preferably in Irvine) so I can get buzzed every morning! There were so many drinks I wanted to try so it was really hard deciding but based upon reviews I went with the Killer Bee with Vanilla Powder. I read it was similar to The Best Drink Ever but less sweet and more caffeine so I opted to that. I was worried the Best Drink Ever would be overly too sweet for me. Almost $ 5 for a large but well worth it in my opinion. The drink was perfect. Sweet and smooth with a strong kick of caffeine/coffee to it. I’m craving more now. I will definitely make it a habit to stop by whenever I am in SD! Maybe it is a good thing after all that there isn’t a location closer to me because I would go broke coming here all the time!(But no really, please open a closer location!!)

Get the«best drink ever»!! In fact, get anything here as everything I’ve tried is fabulous. Quality beans and friendly service. I have no idea what is in the best drink ever, apart from caffeine and a whole lotta sugar, but it’s ridiculously delicious. You may have to wait a bit for your drink because the place is so popular but it’s worth it. They have a drive thru but I usually get out of the car since the drive thru probably doesn’t save much time.

Better Buzz can make some awesome coffee. I am a fan of the PB location more so than the Fashion Valley location. It has a nice vibe to it. The baristas are super nice here and will go the extra mile to help you find the perfect drink. Personally I am a fan of their Iced Blended Coffees. I don’t like to have coffee concentrate in my coffee. I prefer to add syrups. Especially a caramel syrup. It is just delicious because they nail it every time. The drive through is a nice addition but I like to go inside as well but they have limited seating so I take it to go. This is a small store and when I came here the first few times I thought there was just a drive through but no that isn’t the case. You can go inside. UPDATE: We stopped by Better Buzz to get coffee and I was gonna have what I had last time. I got the usual: Iced Blended Mocha Buzz without Espresso and a Brown Sugar Syrup. There seemed to be some sort of miscommunication with the barista and us over the speaker so she asked us to pull up to the window. She then she asked us if we could pull up to the drive through window to sort things out. Which was nice of her to do and the other baristas have done it too to keep the line move along faster. They do that because the cars start piling up out onto the street which it was busy at the time we were there. They got the order started… Then she asked us to pull up to the parking space to keep the line moving along faster… and someone will bring out our coffees. Oops! We should’ve went inside to talk to the barista. It would’ve made a difference if we did. It was nice to see a friendly face again. It was the same barista that waited on us today at the speaker and window and our coffees were a little off and not on point. That’s not gonna make us stop coming here. They have very nice flavors of coffee and some good eats as well. This is the place I found my very favorite scone!

The Purpose: Looking for new spot for Sunday morning caffeine fix, been up all night for The Walking Dead marathon! The Place: Small little kiosk with limited seating. Most customers did the drive-thru, but I wanted to go inside and see what this place was about. The Service: Even for a 6:00AM Sunday morning, the baristas here were super friendly. My Boston Red Sox debit card broke their card swipe on their iPad, so my drink was on the house. Thanks guys! The Drink: I opted for something not on their menu board. The Snickerdoodle ice latte with coconut milk. WOW. Loving the flavor and if you’re not into cinnamon, get something else. The drink is sweeeet, and perhaps too sweet for other folks, but perfect for me. I’ll be back!

I like Better Buzz. I usually get their iced green tea on hot days, and a hot chai tea in the chillier months. I like this location and not the kiosk at Fashion Valley Mall. They have better customer service and the product is excellent and consistent. Not at FV, so I just go upstairs to Starbucks those days. I don’t really have a favorite coffee shop because I’m still experimenting and changing it up. I do try to stay away from coffee shops too often. It’s just so much for coffee. At approximately $ 4.50 for a small size anywhere, it adds up to a couple or few thousand $$$$ a year. I’d rather invest it, so I try to limit my tea intake to twice a week. Besides, tea stains the enamel on your teeth more than coffee, but they are equally guilty of being overly-priced.

Great coffee near our hotel. Staff were very friendly and cheerful. Glad she recommended her favourite to me and I loved it. Honey latte half sweet.

The phrase printed on these cups«life’s better buzzed» definitely lives up to it. I ordered a large iced Best Drink Ever with an extra shot added(total was $ 3 something) and after taking the first sip I was on a coffee buzz. To be honest, I couldn’t even finish my drink because of major coffee jitters. The coffee here is so strong and so good. Definitely a little on the sweeter side though but still bomb. My BF ordered the iced killer bee, which was an iced Americano with espresso and his drink was really strong as well. He liked t tho. After having coffee from here I’m not sure how I can go on with life with Starbucks. I wish they had a chain in Los Angeles :(

We have been drinking Better Buzz Coffee for quite some time now and have gone to four of their locations(Downtown — which is no longer there, Point Loma, PB, and Fashion). Although we are happy to see more of these coffee shops pop up, we have to say that the PB location is our favorite! They seem to(almost) always make our drinks perfectly. The other locations don’t always make our drinks with that YUM factor and then makes us wish we had gotten our drinks from here… This location is small with limited indoor/outdoor seating. There normally isn’t an issue with parking as you can park in the lot in between BB and Jack in the Box. When there’s a long line at the drive thru, the line flows onto Garnet. Just make sure you pull as close to the curb as possible since Garnet is a busy street and you don’t want people getting angry if they get stuck behind you. We love the little chalkboards with random quotes/sayings as they can make you step back and look at life in a more positive light or just manage to put a smile on your face. The staff at this location is always so cheerful and happy. Some of the staff will remember us when we stop by and sometimes even remember what our usual drink orders are. They will happily give you recommendations if you can’t decide on what tasty drink to get. Our favorites include the HAZELNUTDIVINITY, COCONUTMOCHALATTE, ICEDBESTDRINKEVER(in case you didn’t know, they DO make a buzzed version of the IBDE), and the MATCHAGREENTEABUZZ made with almond milk plus an add shot. So tasty! We sometimes opt to get something small to eat such as a bagel with cream cheese or one of their delicious sammies should we need a little snack to curb our appetite. These drinks definitely help us start the morning off right and even pick us up after a hard day at work!

This is my second choice of better buzz, normally it’s easier to get in and out of the Mission Boulevard location but this one does have a drive through! Despite the convenience there is almost always a line, ugh, get me my large ibd now! However, regardless of the line Better Buzz is amazing. I cannot get enough, I think I have an addiction(seriously I’m here at lease every other day). If you’re going to spend the money to go out on coffee you need to stop here! I hope they get the capital to move out of Southern California! Service is typically pretty fast. There are always people here, even 10 minutes before close. Thanks for being the best Better Buzz :)

I have seen these cups all over the internet(and by internet, yes folks I primarily mean Tumblr) and throughout various social media outlets from Instagram to twitter to Facebook so I asked myself the obvious question after coming here: Do I get what all the buzz is about? Quick Answer? Yes I do get what all the buzzzzzzz is about! But I still have mixed feelings about Better Buzz that are specific to this location. This location has a few things going for them: good service, a drive-thru option, and the location itself. They have a variety of drink options you can choose from, but from what I’m told they’re known for their iced coffee drinks. I ordered the Best Drink Ever & my friend ordered the Mint Mojito. While I do believe my drink was delicious, I felt deceived by its title. I don’t think it was THE Best Drink Ever, but it was still pretty delicious nonetheless. I must say, however, that the Mint Mojito was on point and I almost wanted to steal my friends or go back for more before leaving SD! It had a good balance between the coffee flavor and mint, which made it super refreshing especially since it was a hot day at the time of my visit. So I definitely recommend the Mint Mojito! Yum! I must say, however, that the drinks were a bit too sweet for my liking and I wonder(maybe I’ll try this next time) if you can get your drinks less sweetened, if so I feel like this would make me love this place more! However, I’m iffy about Better Buzz because if you wanted to dine-in, essentially, Parking may or not be a hit-or-miss opportunity. On the outside looking in, it’s obvious even if you were to enter, you’d have trouble finding a seat and props to you for finding parking by the way because this location is small! Parking is do-able if you find parking in the lot, risk parking in the random parking spots located directly next to the drive thru line and pray you can get out later on, or you can also find street parking. So there’s that. For the Drive-thru, the lines can get pretty long so that bothers me a tad and would be worse if I was in a rush, however, I must say and agree with other Unilocalers by saying it does move fairly quickly so if sometimes you can get a little impatient(admittingly, this is totally me) then take deep breaths as the line moves! Overall, if you’re in SD I definitely think you check out what everyone’s buzzin’ about and get your caffeine fix here at Better Buzz! I hear they also offer acai bowls if that’s what you desire. Tidbit, this place is best for to-go just thought you should know! So get in the line and grab your drinks to go and continue your day of SD exploration(if you’re like me and you’re an out-of-towner! :)

Better Buzz is the perfect coffee shop if you like your coffee sweet & rich because they use heavy whipping cream instead of milk in their drinks(although i’m sure you can make substitutions) i’m not one to drink sweet coffee ALL the time, but it’s good once in a while as a treat —moroccan spiced iced coffee: YUM, heavy with all the cream but oh so good —vanilla latte: WAY too sweet for me they’ve also got pastries if you need a snack PLUS limited patio seating, perfect for this beach town NOTE: on the go? THERE’S A DRIVETHROUGH
