Balance Plus Physical Therapy

I’ve been an athlete almost all my life. As we get older the muscle and bones aren’t as strong. She has helped me heal through my sports injuries and currently getting me back healthy and strong from a dislocated shoulder injury. I also saved $ because it’s a lot less than surgery Kathy is an amazing physical therapist and a heartwarming human being with a great sense of humor.

After a motor vehicle accident left me with a severe imbalance problem, my Dr strongly advised me to see Kathy Grimsby. Boy, am I happy I did! After many 1-​to-​1 sessions, 2x weekly, I no longer have this problem! She gave me exercises to do at home which were much better than all the «therapy mills» I was treated at for the past 20 yrs! She is a «one in a million» specialist who truly cares about her patient’s outcome! I
She also treated a shoulder impingement issue for which I was scheduled for surgery! I was suffering for almost 2 years, previous pt at another location couldn’t do any more. Never had the surgery, no more pain after several weeks of therapy and massages from Kathy!
I have herniated discs in my c-​spine, which was made worse after the accident. Constant pain, sleepless nights for months! I was also scheduled for a c-​spine fusion by a noted neurosurgeon in LaJolla. Kathy worked on that problem, also! After countless massages, ultrasounds, and exercise regimens (at home), I am happy to report that the surgery was cancelled! I was feeling so miserable in the beginning; Kathy’s expertise and knowledge in this field is unparalleled !
After my 93 yr old aunt suffered a stroke recently and was left with an imbalance problem, she sought help from Kathy. She is walking much better and thanked me for recommending her.

Kathy Grimsby is a complete LIFE SAVER! She’s amazing as a physical therapist as well as on a personal level. I’ve been to several people for my inner ear problems and no one has ever been able to help give me the confidence and patience she has.
