Had chow mein, teriyaki chicken and I think pork ribs. Really affordable and tasted freshly made. Also had a side of cheese wonton. Love it. Will be back

The food is okay, but I come here for the salt and pepper wings. No other place in San Diego has wings that compare. They are super spicy and have lots of flavor, price is $ 5.59 for 8, well worth it.

As a fellow Asian, I have to say Asia Wok is not bad for fast food Chinese food. This location is close to my work and decided to try it out for lunch. The set up is like Panda Express where you get rice/noodles and your meat entrée. They have small appetizers such as egg rolls, soup, cream cheese puffs, and chicken wings as well. Their prices are fair for the LARGE portions they give you. Minus one star because it was sauna-hot inside the restaurant and no AC… Not a bad stop for lunch pick up but would not recommend eating there. Plenty of parking space. Service was friendly and prompt.

You’re better off going to the other location which is only like a mile away. I live right above this shopping plaza. I could literally walk there, but if I’m craving Asia Wok I will drive over to the other location. Forgot what street it’s on, but it’s right in the plaza where Home Depot/99cent store and all that other stuff is at. Lol just Unilocal it. Anyways I always usually go to that one but decided to try it one day cause I was lazy to drive. They’re both the same chain so should be the same right? Wrong. The food here looks like it’s been sitting for a while which makes your food not taste as good. I think they use too much oil when making the fried rice and chow mein cause you can see the oil shinning under the light. The portion I received here was small compared to the other one. If you go to the other place they ALWAYS pack your food to the point that you can’t even close the lid. I mean I guess everything is pretty decent and is good to those who aren’t familiar with fast Chinese food other than Panda Express. But it just didn’t do it for me, after I ate I felt sick from all the oil. Also what good is the Mongolian noodle section when they have a «height limit» wtf? So if u pack your bowl higher than the limit they charge you extra. And it’s not like an extra $ 1 it’s an extra few $$. It makes no sense to me. The whole point of Mongolian is to try and PACK as much shit as they can in the bowl. I’m already paying for the bowl? Btw they are small as hell, even the Mongolian at the malls have bigger bowls than this. It’s pretty cool that they tried, but they suck. That part of this place shouldn’t even exist it’s probably more expensive to get Mongolian than it is to get a 3 entrée meal. I like Asia Wok for the food, better than Panda Express. I just don’t like this location.

This is a great place to go for fast chinese food. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I have been coming here for years and I have noticed that the to go plates have gotten smaller which gives the appearance of more food. They have a favorite of dishes to choose from, beef and broccoli, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, egg rolls, egg drop soup, rice(white and brown), noodles, and more. You can also eat in the restaurant or take out. The staff are pleasant and courteous, the restaurant is organized and clean. There is lots of parking available but it is shared with other shops. Overall, the food is tasty, the service is fast, the portions are good and the prices are reasonable.

Opted to go to Asia Wok over Panda Express for dinner tonight based on convenience and distance. I had heard about the abundant portions and affordable prices so I had to see for myself. The rumors are true! We ordered a two item plate(chicken teriyaki and orange chicken w/chow mein) and a side of shrimp fried rice. Despite other reviews I found the food very tasty. The chicken teriyaki had a great smoked flavor that my boyfriend loved. I was a little worried about the spiciness of the orange chicken but I didn’t find it spicy at all! The shrimp fried rice was delicious and tasted fresh. The only downside was the chow mein. I just wasn’t impressed by it. I don’t think I would dine in as I didn’t find anything special about the atmosphere, but it’s a great place for a quick dinner!

Amazing food but horrible service. Probably the stingiest/cheapest place I’ve ever been to. Really cheap with the Mongolian noodles and strict with little things they shouldn’t be worried about. Example, no water cups unless you’re a paying customer.

I had the pepper chicken and the teriyaki chicken with rice. The food was good. The staff were nice. I had lunch there. The place is a bit run down, but for the most part; clean. The board of health gave it an A rating. The biggest problem is that the trolley stops right there so there was an assortment of charcters in and out including a lady that walked around and asked everyone if they could give her a ride. Over all not bad. They are doing a lot of business with take out, their A/C is a large fan, but the food is pretty good I would come here again

This place is pretty good for take out Chinese food. The chow mein, teriyaki chicken, spicy chicken and chicken wings are really good! The prices have raised from what it was when it first opened but it’s still pretty cheap. Definitely more worth it than Panda Express but the only problem is that they don’t have much choices to choose from. Service is great, I usually have the girl serving me and she’s one of the nicest workers I’ve ever met. Always saying hi and smiling at me.(: if you’re in the neighborhood and craving Chinese food, definitely stop by here.

I ordered a 3 item combo: chow mein, broccoli beef, orange chicken, and bbq pork. Chow mein: Pro — freshly made. Con — no flavor. Broccoli beef: Pro — veggies were crisp. Con — beef was very dry. Orange chicken: Pro — very tasty. Con — the sauce is waaaayyy too thick. BBQ pork: Pro — very tasty. Con — pork was very hard, possibly overcooked. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant needs to upgrade to air conditioning because it was very hot while I sat there and ate. The tables are run down. The one I sat in was very sticky, so I tried hard not to touch it. The chairs are torn and run down. If you’re looking for a quick fix of Chinese, I would recommend ordering to go.

The best take out Chinese off the 94 freeway. Central location and delicious food. Reasonably priced and great portion size. You’ll always have left overs. My fave is the 3 item for 7 bucks and some change: beef broccoli, orange chicken and spicy chicken, and if I’m feeling super hungry throw in some chicken wings. DELICIOUS! Everyone I’ve taken there to try have become regulars. You won’t be disappointed.

I eat here semi regularly because it’s close to work. Overall good place to eat but their salt and pepper wings are the best in town. The mix of spices and the way they are prepared are unique and delicious. They do party trays and they are awesome for football games, fights or whatever event where you are going to have several people.

I came in today because I was craving some orange chicken. The first thing I noticed upon entering was a sign on school paper with writing«No Customer Bathroom». ok? The next was the duck tape on almost all of the booth seats if you are going to eat here. I got some steamed rice and chow mien with orange chicken. I asked if the chicken was spicy and the girl said«no.» When paying for my food I also noticed another hand written sign telling you not to ask for a cup to have water. You need to pay for the cups. That is when I started to notice how dirty this place really was. The grime on the cash register was so thick that I had to start looking at everything else. I would never come back here to eat again. This place was just gross and is in needing of a cleaning… but not just a regular cleaning but a power cleaning. When I got home my first bite was the steamed rice. The taste of the rice was as if it had been burned at the bottom and they are still serving it. The chicken was pretty good with the exception of ITWASSPICY. That is when I noticed all of the little red crushed chili peppers in it. I specifically asked the girl prior to my purchase. The moral of this review is: When you walk into an establishment and your inner you is telling you not to eat here, then you probably should not do it.

I came in yesterday to buy myself something awesome for completing my first year at college. I love Chinese food so I decided I’d come here. It is right by the trolley station which makes it easy for anyone to get to. After looking over the menu, I noticed that it was just like Panda Express which I’m familiar with. The lady called me over to order. I got chow mein and fried rice with orange chicken and broccoli beef. The food is pretty good. I fairly enjoyed and they give you a lot for the price you pay. My only complaints would be that I didn’t get a fortune cookie. I don’t know if they had any but I sure didn’t get one. The main complaint I have is the lady who helped me. She was so dull. No smile could be found at all. If you are going to work with the public, you should act like you like your job. No one wants to go to a place where the staff is crabby no matter how good the food is. She didn’t say thank you or anything. I would go back to give them another chance. My food was pretty good but I suggest that the staff puts on a smile next time.

Nowhere else can you get a veggie Mongolian bbq bowl for $ 5.39. I’m sold. This is now permanently in my lunchtime rotation. The Mongolian BBQ is super cheap. Some of the previous reviews are correct; the veggies aren’t the freshest, but you get what you pay for. For just over 5 dollars, I’ll take canned pineapple without complaint. The service is quick, and I usually spend no more than 10 minutes in the building before I’m off with a full styrofoam carton of food. A thing to watch out for if you’re veg, though, is that they float things in their sauces to make them look more appetizing. There are lemons in the lemon sauce, pineapple in the Mongolian sauce, etc. The teriyaki sauce has some sort of meat floating in it, making the whole vat of sauce inedible. :( Also, they don’t have serving utensils for each tray of veggies. There’s one for meats, and one for everything else. I was a little worried about this at first, so I usually take a napkin and wipe it down before I start. I love this place for a quick, cheap, filling meal. Try it out!
