If I could give 0 stars I would… Bought $ 150 «VIP» ticket for their New Years Eve event. It was the most awful experience ever. You pay $ 150 for an all inclusive event with supposed unlimited drinks where they advertise that you’re never empty handed, yet I spent nearly 45 minutes waiting per drink! My entire group was literally in line all night long. What kind of «vip» service is that?! And they only had TWO bartenders for a sold out event?! Are. You. Serious!!! Worst purchase of my life. I literally hated every part of it. The drinks were not strong, even the«shots» were watered down. Literally the worst money spent in my life. Everyone left before midnight just to get a drink for the toast when the clock struck midnight. We ended up coming back to my place. Luckily, I live close by. This is all not even to mention some of the awful, disrespectful, un-classy clientele they seem to draw in, granted they can’t help the type of terrible people that like to come to this place. I will never choose to visit this establishment again. Instead of having fun, I’m pissed off writing this Unilocal review on New Year’s Day. WTF. I wouldn’t be surprised if you see a lot more negative reviews. Don’t waste your money or your time. Go elsewhere. Save your money and save yourself the headache.

Very hip and cool looking, nice staff, way over-priced. They have a large selection of wine, but we paid $ 37 to taste 6−1oz pours(so basically one glass of wine).

They were out of a good number of wines, ten or so the day I was there. I had the fish tacos– stay away. All cabbage and vegetables and no fish, not real flavorful either. I left hungry and had to eat the snacks in my room for dinner Overall stay was disappointing. The room was so small the lock on the door hit the closet wall and caused damage to it. The clothes Closet has to be completely closed in order to exit or enter the room. I had had a poor experience prior and they put me in a very nice room to make up for it. I guess they forgot given the room I had this time Just disappointing although all who work there are very pleasant looks like I need to find a new place to stay

I think I may have just discovered my new Friday night happy hour spot. Half off select wine by the glass and $ 5 cocktails(shoutout to Mark, the very cute bartender who pours generously). Since it only takes about 1.5 cocktails before I am officially buzzed, these prices happen to be extremely economical for me. As an added bonus, happy hours runs until 8 p.m., even on Fridays. Good venue — hip, «downtowny», but not too overcrowded, especially for a Friday. So why did I knock off a star? Only because I thought the food portions were undersized for the price. The gourmet pizza was superb, but splitting it with another person not so much. On a side note, I pretty sure this place is now called the Andaz Wine Bar and not the Ivy, but for Unilocal review purposes, they’re one and the same. Enjoy!
